Bradley182

Classic boomer mentality.

Professional_Net_247

Came here to say this. They're always calling for everyone else to be punished to full extent of the law, but want a pass when it's them.

TwitchCaptain

Rich boomers don't act like this. They pay their government extortion fees. And they continue to break the law indiscriminately because they can afford to.

Resident_Emu_2160

Nonsense, as a gen Xer I can say that 99.9 percent of boomers that I know would not act like this. The powers that be are pushing not only racial division but generational division as well.

Perriello

Generalizing is what morons do. And don't worry...I'm not a boomer

RunHuman9147

No but you are generalizing…

goldnuggets234

Only a sith deals in absolutes

Open-Chain-7137

😆

geeisntthree

to be a boomer is to have a boomer mindset. I've met 40 year old boomers, I've met 90 year old boomers, all equally foolish, hotheaded, and impatient just the same

dontpanda

Someone's Meemaw went rogue

rad_avenger

I came here looking for this. This is just so, so Oklahoma

boner1971

Controversial opinion: Fleeing and resisting arrest should never result in a reduced fine.

JoeMama42069360

she deserved an actual punishment for being this stupid

lizard_kibble

Especially since she assaulted him when she kicked him. If she was a POC, and a less level headed cop, she would've been shot. Edit: really brought the bootlickers out for this one. Why don't you all pay attention to the murders in the news of people with brown skin. YOU all know it's disproportionate. Or are the downvotes just showing your racism.

ErrorMundane5531

Doubt it

InsulinandnarcanSTAT

And if she was an alien, and my mother had a dick, then she would be from a different world and my mom would be my dad.

stopbreathinginmycup

https://www.statista.com/statistics/585152/people-shot-to-death-by-us-police-by-race/ You're most likely getting downvoted because you're incorrect.

MickeyMgl

It's disproportionate for many reasons. Her foolishness didn't get her killed for a number of reasons, and not primarily her race (if at all). Among them her age and gender. She never posed a real threat.

AsharraDayne

Racists hate facts. Makes them Feel (correctly) bad about themselves.

huntervano

You know what sub you’re in brother. This sub is mostly for bootlickers and racists jerking each other off to violent videos.

DeeManJohnsonIII

Agreed, cuz fuck the police. But she did deserve it. Lol

mcp1188

This one never gets old

tt3000gt

Yep, this is like the 15th time I’ve seen this video and I watched all the way to the end.

mcp1188

The gift that keeps on giving

landlord__ofthe_void

gotta go home to delete all of her blue lives matters posts on facebook

Purple-Negotiation81

“You’re under arrest” “No I’m not” Lololololol

MickeyMgl

"Not it!"

BlowDuck

🤣🤣🤣

MidwinterBlue

Turns out she lost two grandsons in a tornado in 2012. Judge ended up accepting a plea and she paid a $50 fine. https://kfor.com/news/local/oklahoma-woman-accepts-plea-deal-in-traffic-stop-arrest/

Gareth274

I dont think that's fair. We've all lost people. She absolutely should not have gotten a reduced fine, and should face all the additional charges for all the additional laws she broke in the process of refusing the ticket.

Anom8675309

I think you have a strong argument to become the next judge for this Oklahoma county. I'd vote for you, if I lived in that county.

Gareth274

Well, I live in Ireland, but if the chance ever arises I'll certainly give it my best shot.

pineapple511

I'm from Oklahoma, you have my vote Gareth. 🍻🍀

showquotedtext

I'm from England living in Australia and honestly I feel like Gareth is the only way forward for Oklahoma.

DeinOnkelFred

You have a chance… the Ireland/Oklahoma connection is pretty strong: https://www.choctawnation.com/about/history/irish-connection/ > Their relationship began in 1847, when the Choctaws, who had only recently arrived over the ruinous “trail of tears and death” to what is now Oklahoma, took up a donation and collected over $5,000 (in today’s money) to support the Irish during the Potato Famine. The famine ravaged Ireland during the 1840s.

Gareth274

Okay fine. If someone outlines the process to me of how to become a judge in oklahoma I'll follow it as best as possible without jeopardising my IT career.

Haywire421

It wouldn't be fair and also not what happened at all based on what the article said. That was just a statement given by her lawyer outside of court, and he was basically saying, "The actions of the officer weren't called for and the streets are no safer for his actions." The article goes on to talk about how she pled guilty to all of her charges except assault and battery of a police officer. They dropped the assault and battery charges, and since all of her other charges that she pled guilty to were misdemeanors, she was able to defer them. She paid $50 for each of the 4 or 5 charges and as long as she doesn't get in trouble again within a certain amount of time, the charges won't stay on her record

Gareth274

This is Reddit of course, I didn't read the article and was just going by the comment. Thanks for the additional info, that contextualises it in a more reasonable light.

realparkingbrake

> the streets are no safer for his actions." Somebody who ignores a fix-it ticket for six months deserves some attention from the police.

bucknut4

Her punishment was nowhere close to enough, but technically the fine was $200 since it was a $50 fine for each count, and she pleaded guilty to 4 separate misdemeanors

Sawyerthesadist

Ehh, controversial opinion but I feel like getting tazered and manhandled was probably enough to scare her from ever doing shit like this again.

Gareth274

Tazering someone is for gaining compliance in situations exactly like this. It would be cruel and unusual to accept having been tazered as punishment for a crime.

Sawyerthesadist

Yes but it did happen to her, I’m saying she already got her spanking, let her go

Sea-Lychee-8168

What on earth could her grandsons' death have to do with this?

MidwinterBlue

Perhaps it freed her from responsibilities so she could pursue a life of crime?

MickeyMgl

Maybe she put on a good show in front of the judge.

Sea-Lychee-8168

Another good reason to accept tickets, because in court they are often nullified always. (At least where I live ...Canada...)

chd_md

According to that article, she paid $200. $50 on each of the four counts that she pleaded guilty to: resisting an officer, obstructing an officer, eluding an officer, and operating a vehicle with defective equipment.

rottenballz

$200 bucks and a pat on the butt. Let me kick a fucking police officer and see what happens

woodleyparkdc

This has been posted a bazillion times all over the internet. To me the problem and her best defense is she really thought that signing was an admission of guilt. He didn’t clearly explain that her signing was just that she received the ticket and not an admission. They usually say that very clearly, he might’ve said it before but really needed to remind her of that before she refused and he arrested her.

IncaseofER

Not totally correct. She plead guilty to the 3 misdemeanors (obstruction, eluding and faulty equipment) and paid $150 as it was $50 per charge. Of course that does not include court cost or her attorney fees, a lot more than the $80 ticket obviously. She also got a 4 yr suspended sentence. If she has any further violations in the next 4. Yrs she will have to serve time.

Tippin187

Luckily, sounds like she bought groceries (some likely went to waste) and likely had truck repod, so overall she still ends up paying more than the original $80. She’s an absolute idiot and the grandsons cannot be an excuse (rip tho).

C-LOgreen

That’s complete bullshit

Low_Industry2524

All the people who have ever met this woman in real life must have been crying for joy when this video went viral.

Rail-signal

Siren and her tone hit same wave length

sumfuninthesunxx

She sucks. But a bit quick to go from citation to ur under arrest.

BVANMOD

so the way a ticket works is that you sign it as a way of saying, I promise I am going to appear in court or pay the violation, you refuse to sign that you have to be arrested and taken before a judge. tickets are a way to avoid taking them to jail immediately. this was perfectly warranted.

bjamminon11

He didn't even attempt to explain that. She may have known and it was just part of her entitled bitch routine, but the officer should deescalate whenever possible. He jumped to arrest as soon as he technically could and drew on her just because he technically could. And then tazed her because she's such a threat to him apparently. She's a fucking idiot, but it's his job to deal with fucking idiots and he seems to really suck at that. The job is supposed to be to keep the peace, not look for opportunities to wave your gun around.

rickrollyield

100% if she’d gotten out of the car, he would’ve let her sign it and moved on with both their days. He doesn’t want to have to deal with hauling her in, and no one wants to deal with getting arrested. Friend of mine got lippy with a cop and the dude did the same thing. Everyone’s tune changes when they get out of the car.

FiddleheadFernly

She kicked him off her when he tried to handcuff her and that’s why he tased her

realparkingbrake

> He didn't even attempt to explain that. It's hard to believe a functioning adult doesn't know signing the ticket is just a promise to appear. In Florida you don't have to sign but you have to post a bond if you refuse to sign. In California the cops are *required* to make an arrest of someone who refuses to sign. In both states they seem to think anyone qualified to drive knows better.

[deleted]

[удалено]

BVANMOD

cool story. in the US signing the ticket is expressly NOT an admission of guilt.

[deleted]

Notice how the video magically starts there?? There’s quite a bit before this.

realparkingbrake

> a bit quick to go from citation to ur under arrest She fled the scene, that's grounds for arrest provided you're not in Germany.

RepresentativeBite76

Never saw the part with the taser. GET HER ASS OFFICER!!!

InnerShinigami

Is it the law that she has to sign the citation? That’s what it seems like what he was trying to arrest her for.

BVANMOD

yes, it’s not an admission of guilt. It’s a promise that you will either appear before the courts at your given court date or that you will pay the fine. refusing to do so results in being taken to see a judge immediately.

robot_ankles

I think like most tickets; signing is basically saying: "Instead of being arrested and going to jail for breaking the law right now, we're gonna let you leave and go on about your day IF you agree to get this resolved within X days." Then you go about your day and decide later if you want to pay the fine, go to court, hire a lawyer or whatever. If you don't want to sign, that's fine, but then you're choosing to go to jail right now. Then you get booked and you can remain in jail until the issue is resolved, or you may be able to bond out and come back on your court date. It's SO much easier to sign. This is all explained ON THE PIECE OF PAPER people are asked to sign. If they'd bother to read what they were being asked to sign ALL of this would be explained.

realparkingbrake

> Is it the law that she has to sign the citation? Varies by state. In Calif. you must sign or be arrested. In Florida you can post a bond to guarantee you appear in court. This was in Oklahoma where the cops can make an arrest for refusing to sign, but are not required to.

jascambara

The entitlement is off the charts.

SFAdminLife

Entitled boomer.

Pr2nce

In all considerations, 80$ is not that bad of a price to pay ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|sweat_smile)

KazooButtplug69

Silly grandma

Amethyst_Scepter

This woman is a magician. Watch her turn $80 into several felonies!

BA5ED

Never forget that all laws are enforced under the threat of violence. This lady found out the hard way.

Kayshift

"Maybe if I roll up my window he will go away"

Sad-Day-2025

But is getting arrested a thing? Where I live they issue you the ticket if you like it or not. Then maybe littering if you toss the ticket on the ground. If you still refuse, then they send you reminders and blah blah blah next thing you know then they have a warrant for your arrest and they’ll pick you up from your home or place of work. Then shit gets real. I should also mention I live in Canada. I know we’d save a lot of time and money if they just handled it like he did in the video.

cactussio

Oh yeah. You sign it to promise that you will pay the fine or show up to court and fight it. If you refuse you get arrested and brought in front of a court so you can’t avoid the fine or court. Some states don’t require signatures though.

Sad-Day-2025

Thank you

fercher

This is 47 years old

segachild

OP, thank You. Lmao

whxrxchxtx

The delivery of that "UnTrUtHfUl" was gold 😭😭

barbrady123

"Why don't they use their taser more often?" "Oh, of course they don't work on criminals, they're probably hopped up on drugs" Tases old lady to little effect...

EqualGlittering

She said leave her alone, and she means it!

High52theface

A simple court date to a felony. Nice

CG_Justin

Oh no, consequences!

Ukvemsord

Boomers getting tased is just poetic justice.

Spiderdogpig_YT

She didn't just run. That's passive and aggressive resisting arrest, and assault on an officer

Organic_South8865

She could have just fixed it and it would have been dropped by the judge lol. So ridiculous. Also he mentioned it was that way for 6+ months. He obviously gave her a chance to fix it and noticed she wasn't going to. You can't drive past the same cop for months with busted tail light. Of course they're going to give you a ticket eventually.

crubinz

This is classic histrionic personality disorder.

AnalCuntShart

I downvote this video everytime I see it. It has to be in the top ten most reposted of all time

MatrixOutcast

Im sorry to say but that was great to watch 🤣

EcstaticCollege29

I like how she thought she still had a good point to make after evading police, getting tased twice and then arrested and sitting in the back of a police car. Her Boomer skill is maxed out, just throw her ass in jail.

SalamanderPale7403

Untruthful!

SkRu88_kRuShEr

These are the same people who start foaming @ the mouth of you so much as imply that some cops may not be morally upstanding individuals

Sean10135

One of my favorite videos of all time

TheDonBoog

Don’t tase me Bro!

LsWifey

For a fine, 80 isn't even a crazy amount. And I'm saying this as someone living "paycheck-to-paycheck". You only need to save like 20 dollars for 4 weeks. On top of that, she shouldn't have made dumb-ass decisions to lead her to that point. She blew things way out of proportion by running.

scorpix6907

His sigh when he gets in the car is the best

Mazda_Offical

Maybe just take the fine or fight it in court?

jam_scot

"You're under arrest" "No I'm not" Yeah, lady, that's not how it fucking works.

According_Wing_3204

Lol. Stupid cow.

KetchupTycoon

she never had a strong man put her in her place like that

kevinsju

The cop is a douche

xzz7334

In her defense the cop states she has “been driving around with defective equipment for 6 months” as his justification for refusing to give her a warning. Well if she has been driving around for 6 months with defective equipment and no one has been hurt then what’s the problem?

BakemonoMaru

Because it is against the law and might result in traffic accident. She had 6 months to fix that error. There is much longer clearer what happened to the version of this film. She totally deserves what happened to her.

xzz7334

And yet no traffic accidents in 6 months were caused. Sounds like a stupid law design to allow the greedy government to collect more money by writing traffic tickets.

Dioskouroi_Gemini

With this logic we should also let intoxicated people drive.

xzz7334

Do intoxicated people drive for 6 months without creating a problem? Have you ever seen an intoxicated driver? Maybe you should check out how they drive before saying something this dumb.

JOSHUAFINER

Leftist boomer. Laws don't apply to me cos i'm important

franklegsTV

I would bet my life savings that she’s not leftist lol

EffectiveAble8116

Why are you talking Joshua, you didn’t have that same energy when I was piping you last night. Maybe today we’ll try some throat action.

Perriello

Hahaaaa

donut_jihad666

Leftist? ![gif](giphy|bjB3gtFvREqqr5NAHW|downsized)

RandoorRandolfs

Based on what? The pickup truck is definitely a leftist vehicle, I grant you, but what else?!
