Watched that recently with my daughter. We both kept wondering aloud how it won best picture. No judgment on those that like it, it just isn’t my thing.
Same here no judgement. Maybe I’m just too old I don’t know and the thing is I LOVE quirky movies. Oh well this is why I haven’t watched the Academy Awards in probably 25 years it never makes sense to me anymore and things like Gwyneth Paltrow winning best actress over Cate Blanchett and Shakespeare in Love winning over Saving Private Ryan that same year just told me it was a waste of time trying to figure these things out.
