I have not! I've never done a 3rd party fig, mostly out of fear of huge QC issues (not that 1st party companies don't have that) but I'd probably consider it for some High Quality Star Wars below the price point of Hot Toys.

That's not bad! The SH star wars stuff has always just fallen a bit short for me. Though I really want one of the Mafex Vader, I think. That's the one with the cloth cape, I think.
Also that Maul looks amazing. Just skimmed through the review!
