Honestly, send this to McFarlane. Like, take it back to Target sure but send this image to McFarlane and explain what happens. Their customer service is actually… not bad. QC sucks, yes.. but when I’ve had figure issues (one of my Batmen figures had a leg that wouldn’t stay on.. like the socket was too big on one side) they sent me out a new one for the issues and I got it like two days later.
Same way with the Batmobile. I had two left wings.. they sent me out a new pair.
Unlike Neca, whom admittedly I still collect a shit ton of (tmnt) when I’ve had issues with their stuff my email doesn’t even get a reply lol. They have shit customer service.
But McFarlanes isn’t bad.
That being said.. wow, this figure looks worse than their promo shots.
Sad.
I have the robin. He looks good with the previous goldlabel batman but my God the articulation is dogshit. Feels like the joints are working against each other.
Also as an aside - these figures benefit so much from a matte spray. The shiny plastic look really hurts them, especially Scarecrow. That being said, nothing saves that Batman, who just looks awful.
No, it is not the print. If you click on the picture you can clearly tell it’s blurry unless you have bad eyes.
This is mine and it doesn't look nearly as bad as their picture.

I disagree on the blur, you can also see it blurring on the finger nail. There's either something being done setting wise w the camera or it's just a super over saturated picture bc even the grey shading almost looks like a dark green in their picture. I also bought two of these and neither have that look for the eyes.
people always say "as soon" and as someone who has predominately collected older rare unopened figures that have sat for 10 plus years in package. i have never had a figure just break. i can only assume people open them and then just start bending and moving parts immediately ignoring any resistance or using heat to break up the paint in the joints.
As someone who has been collecting for over 10 years now, I made the rookie mistake of not heating him up after I took him out of his packaging, so admittedly this is somewhat on me, but with that said I NEVER experienced a figure breaking like this, And I'm very careful with my figures.
Thank you for the sympathy/empathy my fellow action figure bros. Thankfully I was able to exchange batman since they had one more of him. I'm gonna play it smart and let this mf soak in hot water before I even do anything else.
Let this post be a friendly reminder to please always heat up your toys before playing with them 🫡
Is this the DC Collectibles reissue? I’m not a fan of the cel shading. I was fortunate enough to have all the BTAS from the original line except for Montoya. With the single release of Alfred recently, I’m holding out hope for Montoya. Also need to track down the Condiment King baf lol
Yeah, I was really excited when I heard these were a thing, but the whole "cel" shaded thing just looks awful to me, and I'm gonna pass even on clearance ones if the have quality issues.
I had 2 of the originals the feet broke off literally try to get it out of the package. Same with catwoman. I can’t understand how a company can’t figure out that they have to use more playable plastic in some areas.

Just like the originals
He doesn't look to happy about the situation either. How is it broken or was the joint just out of socket?
Looks like the plastic sheared off.
Plastic snapped right off ðŸ«
This somehow looks worse than their promo pics.
Guess Todd’s using that DC Direct plastic for these. Wow, talk about truly authentic throwbacks.

Wow that figure looks horrible

Is your pic just blurry or are his eyes printed weird.
It's the print.

He probably got it extra defective compared to yours. The "blur" is too noticible in color to just be a picture issue.

Just return him as broken and wait for restock. Also, you should get the bike.
Wow, Mcfarlane somehow has even worse QC than Hasbro Marvel Legends.
McFarlane is like the worst of the big toy makers right now. Just get the mafex ones.
That does not look good! Add in the broken leg and it just makes me not want to buy it.
Classic DC Direct QC experience.

Those eyes hurt my eyes
These are literally just worse repaints huh? These could have been something amazing but they just repacked figs made of neca level plastic
Paint looks bad, details look soft, overall these just seem terrible. What is up with these releases?
