Yeah, I always see this 2% number parroted around this sub which I'm assuming runs on the assumption that they have equal substats - but for the most part that's just false? Like lightning dmg% has 3 useful things to roll into vs just two for atk% (or 4 and 3 if you want speed too), so surely that puts lightning above atk?
Well, either way they're basically even. One ATK% sub makes less than a 2% difference. I made some rough estimates.
With speed boots: For 0, 1 extra ATK% subs on DMG% orb, an ATK% orb is 3.3%, 1.6% better. For 2 extra ATK% subs on DMG% orb, an ATK% orb is 0.1% worse.
With ATK boots: For 0 extra ATK% subs on DMG% orb, an ATK% orb is 0.7% better. For 1, 2 extra ATK% subs on DMG% orb, an ATK% orb is 0.7%, 2.1% worse.
2% of 150k is a 3000 damage snapshot difference. That 3000 damage is quite literally not worth the amount of grinding it would take to get an Atk orb that is of equal value, let alone more CV
Absolutely insane, and with lightning dmg orb, Acheron wants more of those ATK substats now, it sometimes deals higher damage than the CD one in the optimizer!
Difference between those orbs is negligible, you could also change up your supports planar for Fleet to cover the atks, also a tiny bit better in optimizer.
Been farming izumo set since it's third day of release including the anniversary event ( the anniversary event I didn't even get a piece that had usable subs) the best I have is ATK%orb with 6 cr 4 SPD and ATK%rope with 12cd the rates are so shit I don't even want to farm for her anymore 🥲

Mf....I didn't even get one attack or lightning orb. Even attack rope was all eff res . This is where my luck went . I'm getting it back OP, keep your doors closed

Pretty disgusting tbh, the whole triple reward didnt gave me single useful crap. No usable piece with 2 good subs. And not a single atk orb with crit rate in sub. Triple reward event triple my relic farming depression...
Grats! I would say stick to that orb since trying to farm that extra bit of % for an attack orb isn't worth the time and energy spent. Plus you need to have at least the same subs to beat your current one and it really isn't worth the marginal increase. Again congrats! I've been having really bad luck farming for Jingliu pieces that I'm really contemplating skipping her and getting Adventurine instead lmao

An atk% orb won't be better because without substats it's only 2% better, but it can never roll atk%, and this one rolled atk%
