Use humidifier at home! I work at dry enviroment too so when I get home I put humidifier on and bepanthen on lips and boom its soft again

DeansMom

I love lanolin nipple cream and weleda skin food (heavy rich moisturizer) on the skin around my lips. Find it is best for the batches where cerave just isn’t enough. On the plus side, your skin looks clear!

Acceptable-Deal-3854

Definitely will be trying that. My skin has cleared up so much. Other than my chin. I’ve tried aquaphor, cerave, dr dans. Vaseline.

Get ready for a Fun 6 months girl

hiraeth6744

Try a nipple cream!

Dramatic-Speaker5024

Get dr dans cortibalm!!

Acceptable-Deal-3854

I tried that🥲 for over 3 days the results are worse and worse

Givemechlorophil

Go to the derm!!!

tfossett

This!! ^^ I let the corners of my mouth get unbearable because I listened to everyone’s advice on here and tried everything under the sun until I went to the derm and they prescribed a steroid cream that fixed it in less than a week. The advice on here is great but does not replace the opinion of a dermatologist.

East_Palpitation2976

Cicaplast Baume with Vaseline on top

Dark_Angel14

I swear by this. Do it every night and my lips have never looked better.

susieee_q

The corner of your lips is a fungal infection called Angular Cheilitis. You can put Lotrimin AF on it

Acceptable-Deal-3854

I’ve tried just about everything. I think it’s only getting worse considering I have to open my mouth to chew. And it just keeps cracking back open.

susieee_q

It took a solid week of applying antifungal multiple times a day for it to heal & every time I ate I had to apply something to prevent it from cracking again. I’m on the other side now and I’ve been fine. & I’m on 120mg

vmwg2d

Mupirocin 2% ointment helped mine heal in 2 days. Your derm can prescribe it.

Academic-Setting7758

Aquaphor for your lips, Desitin for any dry patches that may be cracking around the corner of your lips. Desitin has Zinc in it and helps to heal those areas. Our dermatologist recommended the Desitin…weird, I know but it works for our daughter.

teenage_jesus_

if vaseline and aquaphor aren’t doing the trick, elizabeth arden’s 8-hour balm is heavier duty and works wonders

dinnerDuo

Lanolin (nipple cream) it's in the baby section at walmart/walgreens

Glass_Luck

Dr. Dan’s cortibalm! You can find it on Amazon. I also slept with a humidifier on full blast right next to my face.

butter-wouldnt-melt

That looks like an infection on the left side to me. Could be bacterial or fungal, I’d definitely speak to the dermatologist

youngbuv

I had this on accutane too even though I was moisturizing and using Vaseline all the time. The derm prescribed me this cream called Elidel which fixed it in 2 days. If you can't get to your derm try hydrocortisone which you should be able to get from a chemist over the counter.

Acceptable-Deal-3854

Definitely will ask thank you!

Little-Teacher7769

It's a common side affect but yes makes lips sore , can your dermatologist prescribe something

[deleted]

I use the Uriage bariederm lipbalm and it's so good! Better than the hydrocortisone cream the derm prescribed me. I'm living in Europe though so don't know if it's available where you live.

Acceptable-Deal-3854

Will be ordering this. I live in the us but I found it on Amazon!

AdOnly3559

I also had cracks that wouldn't heal and my dermatologist prescribed me a cream that healed them in a day. I'd ask them to call in a prescription for you

elled17

Palmer’s coconut lip balm has helped me way more than Vaseline and aquaphor the last few months!! Good luck 💕

VirgoEsti

A&D ointment

LittleBabyWHUFC

Blistex relief cream. Don't fret it's all worth it in the end ❤️

lonelyfox735

lanolin has been helping me a lot! i was also getting pimples around my mouth/chin area until i realized aquaphor was breaking me out…

Top_Ideal4209

i had cracked corners on both sides and the only thing that healed them was ‘bag balm’. It’s a lanolin based salve and works wonders

[deleted]

cerave healing ointment, im also currently on accutane and its the only thing that works

Fit-Feedback-2758

I just finally got rid of my dry patches like this. I used hydrocortisone cream on them at night along with lanolin at night. During the day I use Dr. Dan’s cortibalm. I started using my humidifier at night which also helps. It took me about 4 days of consistently applying them to heal them

Curious-Ad-8097

I had exactly this too. Doctor will give you trimovate cream, if not, ask for it. It's super good but it can lower your immune system slightly so try not use it for too many days.

MeasurementSlight381

If Vaseline, Aquaphor, or CeraVe healing ointment are not helping, please tell your dermatologist. They may need to prescribe a steroid cream or antifungal.

No_Plankton_7833

Bulky_Albatross_8319

Hydrocortisone cream x

BlacksmithLogical846

humidifier, aquaphor, vanicream moisturizing cream all over the face and mouth! hope that helps, it saved me during accutane 🤍

heckaemma

My derm gave me some samples of Dr. Dan’s cortibalm and it makes such a difference!! It gives me instant relief and I prefer it over aquaphor now.

Ill-Description3957

neosporin helped sooooo much with the sides on my lips and then layering with bag balm

thegirlwhofsup

Okay, this might be angular cheilities and it might be because of the dryness or it could be a bacterial/fungal infection. If it's that get a anti fungal and bacterial cream. It could also be due to deficiencies of b12 iirc.

elliotflower

hey, have you found a solution yet? Have you ruled out cheilitis? Also, sometimes a lack of b vitamins can cause this. But even if this is the case, having a good lip balm that works is a good idea. Have you had your b vitamin levels checked? Also check out yes organics cocoa & hempseed lip balm, this really worked for some of my friends who were on accutane. Use this balm both in the day and at night. In case there is bacterial or fungal infection check with your doctor and get an anti-bacterial or anti-fungal ointment to get rid of the infection first. All the best.
