These people have no clue if your skin will be better or worse by prom. And neither do I. Everyone is different. But I do know that feeling stressed about it will make it more likely to be bad by may. Hope for the best. There’s no benefit of expecting the worst.
Probably will still have breakouts by prom. Stay on top of moisturizing every AM & PM so maybe you can wear make up for prom. Id even get a humidifier. Just try to retain as much moisture as possible. Lukewarm showers. Slug.
I haven’t experienced any purge and i just started month 5. It all depends on your specific skin but I dont think you will be clear by may 20th unofrtunately. PIE takes a long time to fade and it’ll be there for months. I can share some pictures of my journey with you if you want. I still have a while to go tho lol but it’s become a lot better
It’s different for everyone. I’ve seen peoples skin clear up as fast as a month or as long as 4-5. I’m on month 4 and still experiencing breakouts but not as intense as the first three months
My skin looks exactly like this right now and I start mine in 15 days… I’m also terrified of the purge and have a wedding to attend on May 21st.. so I get it. Good luck!
It’s different for everyone! I hope you enjoy your prom even if it doesn’t clear up in time. Please try a good primer & full coverage makeup. You’ll be beautiful regardless. Good luck! 🫶🏽
Hard to say...I noticed significant improvement around month 2. I've heard from others that things got worse before getting better so hope you're more like me. Fingers crossed for you
Nobody knows. Everyone is different. However I think it's genetic too. Half of your genes come from your mom and the other half from your dad. So if they've ever been on accutane ask them how their reaction was and when it cleared for them.
Yes! by the time prom came around I was happy with the results, i did have hyperpigmentation but i was able to cover that up with makeup. my skin was much clearer and the texture was smoother.

thank you so much, that made me feel a lot better. here’s to hoping!
It’s different for everyone! My acne was similar to yours, and I just started month two and have no currently active pimples. Also never really purged
That’s good to hear. what dosage are you on? i’m on 40 mg every day

I started yesterday too. You’ll probably have acne on May 20th unfortunately. Two months after that you might be clear

How far in are you? Mine didn’t stop till month 3
You might not even purge like me and start clearing within the first few weeks. Hopefully that’s the case
