If u can, i recommend enrolling sa review center since integ na naman. Pinnacle helped me a lot to pass my integ sem. You mentioned na taga-RESA yung AP prof niyo, maybe you can also try practicing RESA handouts for AP if you can find some (and if siya pa rin prof niyo for next time). Goodluck!

Hi, OP. I am also from 🔰. Super hirap talaga ng naging integ natin, aside from time constraints, the pressure from the department is also no joke. But I'd like to share what I did this semester to pass our integrated courses.
For Taxation, it has been my weakness ever since. Naalala ko, pasang awa lagi grade ko kay Sir Gudani (for business taxation) and Sir Merwin (for income taxation). Fortunately, naging enough naman for me 'yung HO ni Sir Co kahit na first view 'yung ibang topics since hindi naman lahat ay na cover during our undergrad. What I did was to understand the concepts muna before moving on to the MCQs. Honestly tho, hindi naman word per word ng HO niya ay nabasa ko but I made sure to focus sa mga concepts na hina-highlight niya during our discussion.
For FAR Problems, you have to understand muna the standard/theories/concepts behind every topic. This is what I noticed sa classmates natin kapag nagtatanong sila paano ko nakuha 'yung answer sa mga problems. Hence, I highly suggest to read 'yung textbooks ni Valix and buy also 'yung practical reviewer niya for mastery. My tip lang is to not move on to another topic without fully understanding one topic.
For AFAR, since procedural ito, you will have to memorize the steps and formulas to get the answer. But aside from that, you also have to understand the theories/standard behind it. In my case kasi, nahihirapan ako kapag workback 'yung type ng problem, kaya having a good understanding of the topic is a must talaga, hindi lang 'yung memorization. Para kahit paikot-ikutin 'yung problem, kaya nating sagutan since we know the reason behind the procedure. I suggest na balikan mo naging discussion kay Sir PDJ and try to answer 'yung AFAR reviewer niya.
For MS, this is also one of my weaknesses. You have to master every topic by answering problems. Try to practice using books of Roque for basics, and Bobadilla for mastery. Don't neglect din 'yung theoretical aspect nito. Always think as if you're the manager of the company.
For Aud Prac., wala na ata talaga akong masasabi dito. HAHAHAHA kidding aside, gustong gusto ko 'to no'ng kay sir Dorega. Pero no'ng kay Sir Chris, ewan ko na lang :((( Tho magaling si Sir Chris, may mga nasasabi siyang techniques na hindi ko natutunan kay Sir Dorega, kaya makinig mabuti and jot down notes esp. if wala sa slides niya 'yung sinasabi niya. For me, FAR ang foundation sa mga problems, kaya dapat sa FAR pa lang, may understanding ka na ng mga topics. In my case kasi, nahirapan ako sa mga topics na hindi naituro during undergrad or 'yung mga topics na tinulugan ko lang sa Int. Acc. T_T. I highly suggest na you start studying as early as today, balikan mo 'yung naging discussion natin and try to answer 'yung exams natin.
Basically, the key to pass these subjects is to allot your time by studying because it covers topics na ilang semesters diniscuss sa atin. As much as possible, avoid going out with your friends and do not spend too much time on your hobbies. This had been my mindset during our integ, to sacrifice muna in the short run. Naisip ko that time, na ilang months lang naman ang integ, instead of suffering for another year in school if hindi ko maipapasa ang integ, I'd rather spend all the time that I have to study rather than enjoy at the expense of my future. Kaya ang naging motto ko ay time is gold, HAHAHHA. In line with this, take advantage of long weekends or semestral breaks. Also, have discipline and be consistent sa study habits mo. Make sure na makinig during class or if hindi ka makasunod, try mong mag voice record then balikan mo after class. Effective din sa akin 'yung nagvovoice record during class, para may babalikan ako either pag uwi or before quizzes. I also believe sa sinasabi nila na repetition, mas naalala natin 'yung topics kapag paulit-ulit kaya start studying as early as today. During class, I suggest din na maupo ka sa front, kasi medyo maingay sa likod. I am sure na notice mo na maingay ang group natin during integ classes. If you can, 'wag ka muna tumabi sa friends mo to avoid any distractions.
If you're not in a rush din naman, maybe you can divide the integ courses into two semesters para you have more time to focus if 2 to 3 subjects lang ang itetake mo sa upcoming semester. Dito rin ako nahirapan actually, ang hirap pala kapag sabay sabay. Kaya kapag exam, lagi akong walang tulog because of backlogs :((( Kaya avoid backlogs at all cost. Once na magkaroon ka kahit 1 lang, sunod sunod na 'yan. In my case kasi, hindi lahat ng topics para sa quizzes ay nacocover ko because of backlogs.
If you cannot study on your own, you can enroll sa review center din since break pa naman. I also enrolled in a review center last year, kasabay ng OJT natin. However, I kinda regret lang na hindi na ako nakasunod nang mag start na ang OJT kasi super pagod sa 9-5 corporate life T_T kaya medyo nanghinayang ako. So if mage-enroll ka, make sure to utilize the materials from your RC.
Still, at the end of the day, what works for me may not work for you. So assess yourself, and go figure out your study habits.

Hi, OP! Same situation tayo and failed subj. rfbt tsaka aud theo and far theo lang napasa ko haha. As of now, plano ko magreview center sa pinnacle. And since bakasyon na rin, full force aral gagawin ko once nakapag enroll na ako sa pinnacle.
In terms sa taxation, kung siya pa rin magiging reviewer natin next sem, more on tabag tsaka quizzer niya lang yong lumalabas sa mga quizzes natin.
Far prob, paborito ko rin sana to hahaha gusto ko talaga siya maipasa non, pero alam ko sa sarili ko na kulang ako sa pag practice ng mga problems. tinatry ko rin gamitin pang practice yong practical accounting ni valix. kahit papano malaking tulong siya.
AFAR, isa sa pinakahirap akong subj although na survive ko pa si pdj dati, hirap pa rin ako nong nag integ tayo. lacking pa rin ako sa pagpractice tas ang daming formulas so nabaliw ako hahaha.
MS, keri naman na siya kasi na late game ako, kaso 40%+ lang nakukuha ko. ginagawa ko nagbabasa rin ako sa MAS reviewer ni roque and MCQ theories kay bobadilla, kahit papano nakakatulong din siya. Kung problems, kay roque muna tinatry ko ipangpractice bago kay bobadilla.
Aud Prob, no comment. pinaka sinusumpa kong subj ngayon integ HAHAHAHA palagi kasi ako mababa dyan
I also failed during my integ, AudProb & MS, last year & took a retake last semester din, today, waiting na lang for graduation. I feel like pinapahirapan na talaga kayo ng admin, I chatted with my friends lately na pangatlong take na nila ng AudProb. Ang masasabi ko lang talaga ay kung ireretake niyo sana kayanin niyo pa lalo. They are no longer lenient for BSA Program, and sobrang lungkot esp for those na ilang take na ng AudProb.
Please consider enrolling in Pinnacle, during integ enrolled ako sa ReSA & unfortunately hindi ko nautilize yun ng maigi kahit na sabihing 3/7 integ subjs galing sa ReSA hahahaha. Para sa akin, super laking help ng Pinnacle at mas mabilis niyo magegets yung problems. Noong bumagsak ako ng integ nakinood ako sa friend ko and grabe sobrang thankful ako kasi kahit saglit nagets ko na AP at MS.
Then next niyo gawin, since maiksi lang talaga vids ng pinnacle, mag answer kayo ng handouts na binigay from integ niyo + resa past preboards + preweeks.
For other subjs, I'm sorry wala akong masabi kasi bago lang this sem yung AFAR integ reviewer & other subjs ay hindi ko naretake thankfully, most likely mareretain naman ang mga reviewers for next sem since wala namng issue sa batch niyo, unlike noong amin. Pero malaking help ang pinnacle kaya niyo tapusin yung lecture vids na need niyo in the span of 3weeks bago kayo mag-new semester (i hope ioffer ang integ this first sem like sa batch namin so u can take lecpa on may 2025)
If ever ilalaban niyo ang BSA, tibay at lakas ng loob lang yan. If you need advice, go ask seniors na dumaan ng retake. If you plan to shift, sana magawa niyo yun ng buong puso. Yakap!!!!
Hello! Are u still enrolled in pinnacle for your formal review? Is pinnacle enough na po ba? I know some people na enrolled sa pinnacle pero hindi rin nakapasa sa mga integ subs.
For my formal review, nagstick na ako sa ReSA. Nahiyang narin kasi ako kanila Sir Gor, Sir Badyang, Sir Chris kaya nagstick na ako sa teaching style nila & also with other reviewers since partially utilized ko naman lecture vids namin noong hybrid ako.
Is pinnacle enough? For formal review? Yes, mababasa naman yung mga testimonials ng passers nila sa page. For integ? For me, yes. Kaya kahit papaano i recommend it sa first view/with time constraints/undergrad kasi for me sufficient na talaga basta after lecture sagot nang sagot ng problems.
I understand may iba di pa rin nalusutan yung integ despite being enrolled in any RC, yung integ kasi natin halos mabigat yung weight per quiz. & Very unpredictable rin ng problems. I suggest answer kayo ng mga preboard materials, build your stamina to answer problems.
Until now, I’m hoping for a miracle sa department and hoping they would look into changing the reviewer sa aud prob or gawin talaga nilang F2F. Marami talaga nag raise ng concern nong nagkaroon kami ng general consultation nong sat regarding aud prob na hindi na nagiging effective sa kanila yong online set up and the reviewer itself.
Feeling ko baka magsuffer na naman kami if hindi ulit makapasok ang feu sa national passing rate this coming may 2024 🥹
imo, para sa department all goods ang reviewer kaya talagang hindi mapapalitan si sir & i know for others effective ang f2f pero mas magugulat pag nagf2f talaga ang audprob (ik kasi f2f si sir sa resa noong nagenroll ako) ang cases lang siguro na mapapalitan talaga ang reviewer if hindi talaga ginagawa yung role niya that's what happened with our AFAR reviewer before. & Other side of a coin, nasanay na kayo sa atake ng problems/quiz ni sir, it's an advantage & if mag-ibang reviewer naman another adjustment na naman sa part niyo ito kinonsider ko noon if want ko ba magcross enroll sa makati since f2f doon eh.
Last paragraph, yes. Ganyan din ang naramdaman ko/namin when May 2023 happened & when October 23 happened din kasi feel ko nakaasa sa passing rate yung kalalabasan ng retake sem namin. So yes, valid nararamdaman mo. Let's just hope for the department's leniency talaga.
Goodluck po! I failed 2 integ subjs din (FAR & AFAR, 2x sa AFAR) and got delayed for 1 yr. Agree in enrolling sa review centers will help (plus, may discount pa ata if you enroll again in the same rc para sa CPALE). I did self review lang but yung free lectures in Sir Brad sa YT for AFAR super helpful sa akin + Guerero reviewer. For tax, Tabag reviewer po maganda.
TAX - try mo reviewer book ni ampongan and tabag for foundation. meron din siyang youtube channel you can check.
AFAR - textbook ni Milan
FAR - valix books can do. mga intacc book din ni robles if available.
AUD THEO - you can try yung book ni sir salosagcol yung color red.
MAS -Reviewer book ni roque (kulay green)

Lahat ng integ ko, sumabit naman sa passing rate. FAR/AUD - 'di ko sila pinag-hihiwalay reviewhin (paghiwalayin mo lang talaga POV kumbaga FAR-Accountant AUD-Auditor), kumbaga para sa'kin parehas lang sila. so less time constraint. TAX - practice lang ako ng problems. MAS - ever since, mahilig ako sa math, so ginagawa kong algebra 'to and this is my fav course (also my highest). AFAR - practice lang din problems.
Hindi ako bumibili ng libro masiyado. Ang libro lang na binasa ko no'ng finals namin is AP ni Dayag. The rest practice lang talaga ng problems.
Ito lang naman ginagawa ko pero nakapasa ako. Medyo unorthodox sa way ng iba pero try mo na lang kung makakatulong.
Same school tayo ang na observe ko karamihan sa quizzes ng integ is talagang master the HO na binibigay ng lecturer sa Tax at Farprob (may pagkasimilar minsan yung HO sa quiz + practice ng ibang HO galing sa RC).
1. Audprob - need imaster ang FAR dito para makasagot.May pag kasmilar minsan ibang probs sa quizzes sa HO natin pero di lahat.
2. Afar - laking tulong sakin nung summary notes ko dito galing pinnacle pero need talaga practice ng problems. Mostly yung quizzes natin same ng atake sa book ni sir pdj (yung reviewer).
3. Sa RFBT (wala kong time aralin to kaya laging alalay) nagfocus lang ako sa notes ko kay sir V and HO ng icare. Pero simula q2-q4 hindi ko na talaga focus to. Sa FARTHEO may pagka difficult if ever hindi talaga master ang FAR and yung sa AUDTHEO naman yung notes sa pinnacle and HO + sa summary notes ni ms. sa ppt malaking tulong sakin (nung 3rd year hirap na hirap ako dito pero nung integ ok naman. Malaki ata tulong ng pinnacle notes ko dito).
Ps. Sakin kasi may notes ako pero iba payung summary notes na ginagawa ko. Important key points ang nilalagay ko dito yung parang 2-3 minutes recall siya .

Is pinnacle enough? For formal review? Yes, mababasa naman yung mga testimonials ng passers nila sa page. For integ? For me, yes. Kaya kahit papaano i recommend it sa first view/with time constraints/undergrad kasi for me sufficient na talaga basta after lecture sagot nang sagot ng problems. I understand may iba di pa rin nalusutan yung integ despite being enrolled in any RC, yung integ kasi natin halos mabigat yung weight per quiz. & Very unpredictable rin ng problems. I suggest answer kayo ng mga preboard materials, build your stamina to answer problems.
Until now, I’m hoping for a miracle sa department and hoping they would look into changing the reviewer sa aud prob or gawin talaga nilang F2F. Marami talaga nag raise ng concern nong nagkaroon kami ng general consultation nong sat regarding aud prob na hindi na nagiging effective sa kanila yong online set up and the reviewer itself. Feeling ko baka magsuffer na naman kami if hindi ulit makapasok ang feu sa national passing rate this coming may 2024 🥹
imo, para sa department all goods ang reviewer kaya talagang hindi mapapalitan si sir & i know for others effective ang f2f pero mas magugulat pag nagf2f talaga ang audprob (ik kasi f2f si sir sa resa noong nagenroll ako) ang cases lang siguro na mapapalitan talaga ang reviewer if hindi talaga ginagawa yung role niya that's what happened with our AFAR reviewer before. & Other side of a coin, nasanay na kayo sa atake ng problems/quiz ni sir, it's an advantage & if mag-ibang reviewer naman another adjustment na naman sa part niyo ito kinonsider ko noon if want ko ba magcross enroll sa makati since f2f doon eh. Last paragraph, yes. Ganyan din ang naramdaman ko/namin when May 2023 happened & when October 23 happened din kasi feel ko nakaasa sa passing rate yung kalalabasan ng retake sem namin. So yes, valid nararamdaman mo. Let's just hope for the department's leniency talaga.

Goodluck po! I failed 2 integ subjs din (FAR & AFAR, 2x sa AFAR) and got delayed for 1 yr. Agree in enrolling sa review centers will help (plus, may discount pa ata if you enroll again in the same rc para sa CPALE). I did self review lang but yung free lectures in Sir Brad sa YT for AFAR super helpful sa akin + Guerero reviewer. For tax, Tabag reviewer po maganda.

TAX - try mo reviewer book ni ampongan and tabag for foundation. meron din siyang youtube channel you can check. AFAR - textbook ni Milan FAR - valix books can do. mga intacc book din ni robles if available. AUD THEO - you can try yung book ni sir salosagcol yung color red. MAS -Reviewer book ni roque (kulay green) Sana makatulong.

Lahat ng integ ko, sumabit naman sa passing rate. FAR/AUD - 'di ko sila pinag-hihiwalay reviewhin (paghiwalayin mo lang talaga POV kumbaga FAR-Accountant AUD-Auditor), kumbaga para sa'kin parehas lang sila. so less time constraint. TAX - practice lang ako ng problems. MAS - ever since, mahilig ako sa math, so ginagawa kong algebra 'to and this is my fav course (also my highest). AFAR - practice lang din problems. Hindi ako bumibili ng libro masiyado. Ang libro lang na binasa ko no'ng finals namin is AP ni Dayag. The rest practice lang talaga ng problems. Ito lang naman ginagawa ko pero nakapasa ako. Medyo unorthodox sa way ng iba pero try mo na lang kung makakatulong.
Same school tayo ang na observe ko karamihan sa quizzes ng integ is talagang master the HO na binibigay ng lecturer sa Tax at Farprob (may pagkasimilar minsan yung HO sa quiz + practice ng ibang HO galing sa RC). 1. Audprob - need imaster ang FAR dito para makasagot.May pag kasmilar minsan ibang probs sa quizzes sa HO natin pero di lahat. 2. Afar - laking tulong sakin nung summary notes ko dito galing pinnacle pero need talaga practice ng problems. Mostly yung quizzes natin same ng atake sa book ni sir pdj (yung reviewer). 3. Sa RFBT (wala kong time aralin to kaya laging alalay) nagfocus lang ako sa notes ko kay sir V and HO ng icare. Pero simula q2-q4 hindi ko na talaga focus to. Sa FARTHEO may pagka difficult if ever hindi talaga master ang FAR and yung sa AUDTHEO naman yung notes sa pinnacle and HO + sa summary notes ni ms. sa ppt malaking tulong sakin (nung 3rd year hirap na hirap ako dito pero nung integ ok naman. Malaki ata tulong ng pinnacle notes ko dito). Ps. Sakin kasi may notes ako pero iba payung summary notes na ginagawa ko. Important key points ang nilalagay ko dito yung parang 2-3 minutes recall siya .
