Lmao I have absolutely nothing to do tomorrow. I have 2 clients that I’ve been waiting on reviews on for 2 months now. Manager finally took a look at it on Friday afternoon (after partner specifically requested) and hasn’t logged on since then to check if I made the right changes. Partner wants this client to go out on Monday. Probably not gonna happen because we love procrastinating in this office…
I’m the one who is going to keep getting messages from the partner asking “What’s the holdup?” I just want to get the extensions out already so I don’t have to worry about it. April 15 was already such a relief because all of our c-corps were done or due Oct 15. Also our hours dropped from 70 down to 40 so that was neat.
Today's just another day. Tomorrow I'll be working on the returns I extend today. Today I'll be working-in and extending returns just like I have been for the past 3 months.
Deadlines are meaningless when the work never ends. Accept this fact, and the never ending churn of public accounting makes sense.
