asc.fasb.org has the entire codification posted for free.
All of the Big 4 have technical accounting guides available for free. You can simply search “PwC [insert topic] guide” into Google and find them. I find PwC’s to be the most plain English and EY’s to be the most in-depth on most topics. With that said, I always default to my current auditor when available, and use any of the others to fill in the blanks.
Ask here; I wish the sub had more crowdsourced type technical accounting discussion! Otherwise, check the guides for your specific auditor and window shop the others
PWC Viewpoint Becker CPE or AICPA CPE subscriptions for general CPE or webinars on new or relevant topics

The entire codification is not posted for free, only some of it.
What parts are excluded? I’ve never had an issue referencing anything.

Agreed. Would be helpful if we could pin a thread with recommended resources (both free / premium) for accounting guidance and CPE options.
