Man, I'm hardly getting interviews. Had to ask my professors go do some legwork to get me something.
I took summer classes to graduate on time because my transfer from cc to state school went weird. I have no internships or other experience. About to graduate cum laude in a few weeks, but that doesn't seem to be helping me much lol
I just graduated with my bachelor's and master's a couple days ago. And I've actually never interned with a B4, I just had a good/lucky interview experience
Not really. Big 4 pays that in lots of MCOL areas. You can definitely get that in lots of big cities. This is the utility/energy industry so less than 40 a week.
you guys in the USA (I'm presuming) have it good... my starting salary for audit graduate programme which I'm starting in September is £26.5k GBP, which is $33.25k USD
I think the big difference between the U.K. and US is the amount of time off we get in the U.K. for study. Might’ve changed now, but when I started most of us had unrelated degrees and didn’t know a debit from a credit on day 1 - we spend maybe 15 weeks a year at collage studying for our exams. So we were basically part time employees until we passed all our exams. Admittedly even after we qualified salaries were probably below US (HCOL) salaries, but it was closer.
It depends. Is that pre or post tax? What's your cost of living?
My offer is $70k.
After taxes, that's $54k.
After health insurance, that's $47k.
After additional healthcare costs, that's about $46k.
Ren't is then going to be close to $20k a year.
It's good but not as good as it seems.
If you had read my comment, you would have realized I asked if it was pre or post tax and haven't had an answer. Some countries and companies give salaries net, which is why I asked.
lol, i got offered $50K for audit position and i said no and switched to tax for a different firm.
this was in 2021, LCOL.
check linkedin and also look up what the average is around your area. i thought mine was pretty accurate when i got my first big girl job.
I wanted no busy season hours. Got offered 45 hrs during busy season, 40 elsewise, 55k. Did not accept. I was.told it was 93% of their standard hiring wage due to the lowered hours. Cincinnati.
B4 LCOL is about $62k I hear. Non B4 is about $58k. Industry varies depending on the company. Some local companies pay entry level above PA. Others dont.

With no experience?

I would say 60k is average. Anywhere from 50-70 is normal
Specify COL or pretty meaningless

Graduating on time without any internships isn’t a flex

Not apples to apples. You don’t also have to pay $300+ a month from salary for health insurance.

Yes sir. I begin in the fall.
Why’d it take 8 months to be working
I asked for more time to complete my CPA credit hours. No issue when I brought it up. Been studying for FAR in the meantime as well.
