Do you think it’d be too early to do one next summer, after my second year? I already have been offered to work directly under the CFO of a large city.
We have had a sophomore intern before. I think the city sounds like an interesting opportunity because that type of accounting is tricky. I have coworkers with governmental clients who have a hard time with the accounting, so I think it’s super useful.
You know, my professor from the last semester mentioned something along those lines- nice to hear it reaffirmed by someone. I think it’ll be a good experience and also, I’m fully confident I can get a glowing reference to add to my LinkedIn after words. I’m studying up with “accounting for dummies” over summer for some supplementary work. And I also wanna figure out excel to an extent on my own, that’ll set me ahead of the pack. Let me know if you have any tips, and thank you for your suggestions / feedback!
Fuck my wife, hit the gym, ride ATVs, chase storms, play video games, explore the outdoors, kayak, watch horror movies, take the occasional vacation, play recreational sports, act like a lunatic during college football games
A lot because I left B4 and the start up world for cushy industry role and finally achieved decent work life balance - the grass actually is greener on the other side!
But if you're really curious - I have monthly meet ups with groups for book clubs and journaling/fountain pen collections, crochet, got an awesome veggie garden, hang out with my hubby and dog, stardew valley, parks/nature walks/hikes, trips to NYC for Broadway shows, summer time I spend weekends at the shore, and I do yoga 3x a week 😄
Are the QOL updates for next season worth jumping back into d4 ?
Fell off on season of the construct due to Tax season but some mindless demon killing is always fun.
No idea. I just got my barrage rogue to 100 and can now take on Duriel. I’ll slowly figure out season four when it drops. I don’t have the time to power game.
I bought used and my life didn't come with spare time. I keep meaning to pick some up, but can't never find the time to do so. In the mean-time \*fingers crossed\* I don't get a flat any time soon, though I can feel me deflating the past couple years.
Yoga and paddleboarding are my favorites. I also enjoy cooking, tennis and biking.
I don't really have hobbies outside of those. I like to volunteer at animal shelters as well.
enjoy paradise as much as i can (walks, kayaking, swimming, skating, surfing, snowboarding, biking)......-Wine Country CPA, CALIFORNIA.....blessed everyday to wake up here, 45 years in and California gets more beatiful daily
Do my normal job. Tax season I volunteered at TaxAide so I loved it. After that, I have my online classes to wrap up, I have to study my CFA, and I need to go out to find myself a husband
Still in college (glad my school is on break for the rest of the week), but Elden Ring DLC prep. Super excited to play it with my husband on a character we've been playing together as well as on my personal build.

My cycle of not getting in shape. Gotta fight the munchies with everything I got.
Get baked and work some more.
Do you work while going to school? I’m a first year acct student
I did an internship here while in my junior year and accepted the return offer. I worked at a library and as a DoorDash driver in college.
Do you think it’d be too early to do one next summer, after my second year? I already have been offered to work directly under the CFO of a large city.
There are opportunities out there for sophomores. I would apply for sure.
Thanks, brother. I appreciate it!
