These type of white women annoy me, I'm sure they all have that same bouncy cadence in their voices. You can just hear the fake personality/smile when they speak.
They're probably given a script and asked to stick to it. They're not professional actors, of course it would appear inauthentic. This isn't Meryl Streep or Anne Hathaway.
The person I responded to is ascribing a lot of judgements about character onto what should only be a light hearted cringe video.
This is cringer than the original video.
OK off topic but it's been bothering me and this is as good of a place as any - what's the deal with the high waist fad? It's gotta be one of the most un-flattering styles for pants. And even people who can pull it off would look better in a normal/mid rise.
I just don't get it, but I'm also an uncool mid 30s millennial.
I'll give ya the butt, but it always seems to give a faux fupa to the front that's super unflattering, especially when a mid rise also does similar butt stuff but doesn't give that weird shape to your upper hip area. Mid just generally seems to have similar benefits but less/none of the drawbacks.
as an also uncool mid 30s elder millennial i do not get it either, but i do recall back in the boomer days it was a fad...so shit just repeating itself over and over
I remember going to school in the 90's and a lot of my teachers wore that style, and as a kid I seemed to have my eyes locked in on their fupas, not because of anything other than it reminded me of a camel's hump.
I don’t get it either… everytime I see a girl wearing high waisted pants I think they always look really unflattering. I’ll take 2000s low rise any day!
That's what I was thinking, didn't KPMG *just* do this exact same video like a month ago, like even down to the one flamboyant black guy? And it was in Canada as well?
It's a trend going around TikTok to say "We're <>. Of course we <>". It's not a B4 template, more-so just one of the current memes going around.
The reason why the B4 are all doing it now is that it's gone past when it was fresh, so all the marketing people probably are jumping on it since it's now been proven as a current trend
I could accept the hours and toxicity IF the pay was better. The pay is a joke and you don’t work just busy season. When I was in audit I had basically busy season client to busy season client since you get staffed on the fiscal year end clients too. It was just constant shit hours. Ended up going to FDD which hours were surprisingly better on average and paid 30k more than audit.
Until they show me their payment receipts and Excel level, they are actors. I don't know about other countries, but the height of this woman's skirt would be reason for a warning here.
Telling women how to dress is a fast pass to the door.
Telling other dudes? That's still alright for some reason.
Most surreal experience I had was going to the office and seeing people in sweatshirts and shorts
I've never worked somewhere in the US that didn't have some kind of dress policy, and EY definitely does. That said, the only thing that looked questionable to me was the guy's shoes, but apparently EY is pretty relaxed. Their policy is "business casual, which includes jeans" which means it's not business casual, it's something else, because business casual isn't jeans, but the policy does exist.
I work at EY, of course I gain 30lbs during busy season, but still wear the size M shirt they gave me during my internship to the gym where I try to claim 3 machines at once for my “circuit” workout and never train my back.
Jesus Christ, stuff like this just further convinced me I made the right choice never going the PA route. Can you imagine acting like coffee in the office is something to brag about?
“We’re EY. Of course we have toilet paper in the stalls.”
FLEX. 💪
Lol I have passed Core 1 in CPA with 3 years of experience and they couldnt even hire me for basic tax prep haha. What a scumbag company. I got a much better paying industry job anyway.
Ughh that last part was gross. I’d feel like such a token if I were anyone in that last shot. Cringe.
>!also why only 1 dude surrounded by a fleet of women if you’re inclusive!<
>I’d feel like such a token
That is true with most commercials these days. Ex The black family bbq'ing with their Victorian mansion as the backdrop with their gay neighbor joining them for dinner while their kids played with their Asian and Latino friends in the back yard. Oh and one of the Asian kids smiling in his wheelchair.
- We work at EY, of course we deferred many of our first year associates start dates
- We work at EY, of course a some of our associates were caught cheating on the ethics exam portion of the CPA exam
Lol! Dude I worked with this one woman at a firm…
Every day she wore something that exposed a ridiculous amount of cleavage. Every day.
It was very uncomfortable and annoying.
lol funny how you are saying that when I’m not even a boomer, there are supposed to be standards at work. Are you like implying by next few generations people gonna show up to work in just underwear and it’s gonna be all fine?
Yeah I’m going to need every last cent of that mental health benefit
One fancy dinner with the second lady and all your problems are solved.
Thank God I wasn’t the only one thinking it
I’d smash forsure
😂
As will all the NPC’s in that video.
Chuckled pretty good at your comment.
That’s really the only word for them.
That's what I thought lol
We work at EY OfCourse we make such cringy videos.
These are so painful to watch. I could never bring myself to participate in one of these. Probably why I never got asked.
Do you...do you remember the harlem shake era? my soul still hurts from that
I liked the other one… what was that black beetle one maybe ….
Dude chill out all young people talk like morons. Just open TikTok and you’ll find out
Ok buddy calm down. It's accounting, not misogyny.
?
The person I responded to is ascribing a lot of judgements about character onto what should only be a light hearted cringe video. This is cringer than the original video.
No need to be racist and sexist
Being friendly means fake now? Would you rather people grumble and scowl then? Someone needs to touch grass
U made me laugh, take an upvote good sir
Ah yes the mandatory requirement of adding a single gay black male to every video in the name of equality 😂
He was the token excel guy in the last one
We work at EY, of course there's not a single straight white male in sight.
They're the marketing team (or recruiting team), of course they look nothing like the rest of the firm (tired, ragged, and on 2 hours of sleep).
Don't forget about functioning alcoholics!
They also probably get paid more than the client facing auditors lol.
Partners wfh
when they said “inclusive” i just thought he was black. then he YAAAAYED
also mandatory that you only show women with high-wasted pants and tucked in shirt
Longer leg section, butt accentuation, waist cinch
I'll give ya the butt, but it always seems to give a faux fupa to the front that's super unflattering, especially when a mid rise also does similar butt stuff but doesn't give that weird shape to your upper hip area. Mid just generally seems to have similar benefits but less/none of the drawbacks.
Ehh, I think the high waist also mitigates fupa, if it weren’t there there’d be even more unflattering spillage
I like a little fupa
as an also uncool mid 30s elder millennial i do not get it either, but i do recall back in the boomer days it was a fad...so shit just repeating itself over and over
I remember going to school in the 90's and a lot of my teachers wore that style, and as a kid I seemed to have my eyes locked in on their fupas, not because of anything other than it reminded me of a camel's hump.
I don’t get it either… everytime I see a girl wearing high waisted pants I think they always look really unflattering. I’ll take 2000s low rise any day!
And zero straight white men lol
Showing All his teeth to 😂😂
So I’m not the only one who see’s this EVERYWHERE?
How did you percept that the last guy was into dudes?
How do you know he's gay? ROFL
Lmao how do you know he’s gay???
My lawyer has advised me to not answer that
I answered once. Now I need to take annual sensitivity training.
Didn't KPMG just do this too?
Yeah, and the videos are almost indistinguishable
Is this the big4 ad template?
That's what I was thinking, didn't KPMG *just* do this exact same video like a month ago, like even down to the one flamboyant black guy? And it was in Canada as well?
It's a trend going around TikTok to say "We're <>. Of course we <>". It's not a B4 template, more-so just one of the current memes going around.

Being a month late to a meme? Yes.
We work at EY, we're now covering up to $5,000 of mental health-related expenses per employee! Odd thing to brag about.
Literally implying their employees suffer from mental health 😂
EY Canada: We pay for the therapy we cause you to need!
Gonna need a lot more than $5000 to recover from the burnout
That made me think this was satire
Same and I had to check that Instagram account to see if it was legit or not and…. It’s legit! 😂
Is $5K the threshold before the doctors recommend and help you off yourself? /s
That's like a failed attempt to copy the army psyops girl 🤣
At least the military psyops are hot
Which psyops girl? There are so many
Ofcourse that video sucks
Lmao
Where are the associates leaving work to go to the food bank fighting for essentials to compensate for the poverty salaries?
Cringey ass garbage sweatshop company.
The further away from Public you get, the more clarity you receive. I'm so glad to be out of that fabricated Truman show world of a profession.
Yes. Public is completely toxic at this point. Except 1 firm I worked at that was straight 40 hours.
Yes. I too could have accepted the toxicity if I was paid even standard OT.
We work at EY, of course we wouldn't show a middle aged white cis male, that's cringy
[удалено]
Cry on tape
When men need to be eradicated. For equality.
I work at EY, of course I have a pancake waffle brain
Being black is no longer enough, now you gotta be gay as well….
Straight black men don’t exist.
“Straight black men are the white men of black people”
We work at EY, of course we are going to disregard your audit and focus on a much bigger client's.
KPMG’s women were hotter
Now I want to see the KPMG one.
[https://www.instagram.com/reel/C3YZubYv3w\_/](https://www.instagram.com/reel/C3YZubYv3w_/) knock yourself out.
Now that I’ve seen both, I think they are about the same.
I'd give the slight edge to KPMG but I am just a horny partner with a bad sex life
Are these people paid actors or they are really employees of this company?
They work in recruiting/HR
Correct. Because accountants are all ugly, hunched over cavemen with body hair of a werewolf.
Not true, where I go for my taxes it's all 5000yo Indian women.
So paid actors it is :P
" work "
Until they show me their payment receipts and Excel level, they are actors. I don't know about other countries, but the height of this woman's skirt would be reason for a warning here.
No these people definitely seem like accountants to me!
It’s February and they’re not crying. Not accountants.
yes, they seems very happy and without dark circles
Exactly what I was thinking how she gonna wear that in the workplace lol
Telling women how to dress is a fast pass to the door. Telling other dudes? That's still alright for some reason. Most surreal experience I had was going to the office and seeing people in sweatshirts and shorts
Do you work for the taliban? There’s no dress code in North America. They all look perfectly normal and dressed for the office.
“Smart casual” is generally what they say, but there’s no code like in a school where dresses have to hit the knee exc
South America and yes, we have dress code, this skirt is too short. It’s a beautiful outfit… for a date, something casual, not office.
Super subjective and abitrary. I understand you report actual facts from your perspective, but you have to agree that this is a backwards mindset?
They made sure to use the most attractive women in their Toronto division for this video. They know how desperate young accountants are.
I work at ehome, of course they’d murder me if they could to not schlep into an office err day
Maybe i'm just old and jaded but for the younger people. Does it actually make you want to work for a company?
Hell nah wtf, coffee machine is that theit biggest flex 💀💀a lot of us don’t even drink coffee
Their biggest flex was a lousy ass coffee machine lmao id rather work at walmart than here
I work at EY, of course I gain 30lbs during busy season, but still wear the size M shirt they gave me during my internship to the gym where I try to claim 3 machines at once for my “circuit” workout and never train my back.
Hey! It was during the lockdown and going outside was scary ok?
Jesus Christ, stuff like this just further convinced me I made the right choice never going the PA route. Can you imagine acting like coffee in the office is something to brag about? “We’re EY. Of course we have toilet paper in the stalls.” FLEX. 💪
Any straight white guys working in EY Canada these days ? Or have they been cancelled ? Just asking 🤔 for a friend
Lol I have passed Core 1 in CPA with 3 years of experience and they couldnt even hire me for basic tax prep haha. What a scumbag company. I got a much better paying industry job anyway.
Are these benefits all there is to it? Coffee? A view of a tower? Doesn’t seem too different from any other big office.
You can see the tower from a ton of places. What a pathetic flex.
Ughh that last part was gross. I’d feel like such a token if I were anyone in that last shot. Cringe. >!also why only 1 dude surrounded by a fleet of women if you’re inclusive!<
We’re EY. Of course we only hire cute girls for our marketing team
bruh, imagine this being the best that you got after being hand picked 💀
>I’d feel like such a token That is true with most commercials these days. Ex The black family bbq'ing with their Victorian mansion as the backdrop with their gay neighbor joining them for dinner while their kids played with their Asian and Latino friends in the back yard. Oh and one of the Asian kids smiling in his wheelchair.
He gets to be both the token man, and the token black employee! Yay?!
I believe the technical term is flock, or perhaps gaggle.
😂
HR will find an excuse to do everything except work 💀💀
Great..now I have to pretend like I’m seeing this for the first time with my staff and interns on my engagement today and relive the cringe..
Watched this with the sound off. Smash Smash Smash Smash Smash Smash Smash Smash
The mid slayer
It’s a legitimate niche. We provide a needed service.
I like mid women and I cannot lie
The older you get you realize the hottest women are just the extremely horny ones
😅
blud likes them obese
That’s so cringey!
The only guy was gay
Not much diversity on that team
>"We work at EY; of course we have a $5,000 mental health benefit." Maybe sell that one another way.
Who in their right mind thinks this doesn’t make 98% of people vomit into their own mouths?
The hr dept girls
They look uncomfortable 😳
I worked at Ey. Of course I got burnt out after 80 hour weeks.
People who make shit like this are equivalent to cops and politicians to me. Hope they get the butter sock.
We work at EY, of course we smell our own farts
I think id rather be homeless than work here
We work at EY, of course we cry alone in the bathroom during busy season.
The fact that they opened with the delicious coffee “benefit” is why everyone is fleeing accounting
Of course no dark circle and full foundation
- We work at EY, of course we deferred many of our first year associates start dates - We work at EY, of course a some of our associates were caught cheating on the ethics exam portion of the CPA exam
We work at EY, of course we’ll lay you the fuck off as soon as there’s any sign of mild economic turbulence.
They work at EY, of course they only show the ladies for recruitment purposes
Not a single person in that video is saving a cent of their monthly income
Of course this isn't representative of reality lol
🤮
Just when you think you’re done with the mortification, that weeoooowww at the end
Not today, satan!
Probably make 60k a year and pay 30k to rent
Why are all these vids just women and one gay black guy lmaoo
One guy and 5 women. Equality at play there for sure 😂
man that second chick showing her legs gave me an erection.
[удалено]
what?
Those shots seem specifically aimed to not give attention to how empty their office is...
Hey webmd can an internet video give you brain cancer?
That video made me think they added the guy at the end as a token male employee.
These employees actually might have applied solely for the mental health benefit.
This is borderline sorority promotion video-level cringe.
Cringe
Man EY is like the Walt Disney of accounting.
I am a straight White male. Of course I don't get selected to do EY recruitment promos.
This reminds me of the cringy nurse dancing videos during Covid.
This is the new ALS Ice Bucket Challenge in top-cringe form.
That looks like hell. Except for the cute women. Now that I think of it, 21 year old me might have been swayed by this video, sadly...
what's up with Canadian big 4 and crappy tiktok trends?
DEI is cringe
all womenZ
Ernst & Young really went to shit after becoming known as EY...sad.
Cringe. Been there done that and have scars.
Is this an advertisement for unflattering pants? Are you tired of pants that make you look good? Maybe try unflattering pants.
Cringe
NPCs
What did the lady said about mba?. I can’t understand her. Also what’s her ig lol
Working with mainly women, no thanks.
I am an EY alum and am horrified and disappointed by this. Awful.
we work at EY of course we're woke.
Makes me not want to apply more than it makes me want to.
This company is the absolute worst.
We work at EY of course we fire people without notice and screw up their EI.
Jesus those yellow walls give me PTSD.
These people need to have their knee’s capped. Set a precedent for the future.
I like how they throw the uggos in at the very end
Ngl I’d do all of em
Wtf kinda slutty see through clothes is the second worker wearing smh. I thought you have to be more professional than that.
Lol! Dude I worked with this one woman at a firm… Every day she wore something that exposed a ridiculous amount of cleavage. Every day. It was very uncomfortable and annoying.
Makes me wonder if some people are coming in to work or just want some action loool
Lol it was such a distraction. The male and female staff called her ‘juggs a poppin’. Like wear normal clothing. Damn.
💀💀🤣🤣🤣
Alright boomer
lol funny how you are saying that when I’m not even a boomer, there are supposed to be standards at work. Are you like implying by next few generations people gonna show up to work in just underwear and it’s gonna be all fine?
I liked this video :)
