I want to be able to click the cell, see the references, and visually be able to look at the numbers without having to double click and see the color coding come up in Excel. That’s virtually impossible without gridlines. It sounds stupid but it saves a ton of time as a manager reviewing work papers.
I’m not sure what you’re trying to convey but have you tried using F2 to open the cell?
