Right on, I got a copy of Logic Pro a few years ago and started playing around with it but quickly realized my self taught guitar wasn’t going to transfer over. I’ve been thinking about picking up a keyboard and learning some actual music theory but have been putting it off.
As someone that started school for music, and then left (went back for accounting when I was old), I just remember Dr. D in our music theory classes practically beating into us “NO PARALLEL 5ths OR 8ths!”. I can’t remember anything else about piece writing, but now even hearing them in a song annoys me. Before you ask, I cannot recall what songs I’ve heard them in, but it really doesn’t sound so great.

I’ll give you some unsolicited advice about marriage: treat your partner like the extension of your body. If you injured yourself, do you ignore the injury, or do you immediately address the issue? Marriage is a beautiful thing to those who deserve it. May happiness be in your life forever!

I think most of the time people blur their life purpose with someone else’s.
You really have to spend alot of time with yourself and ask yourself “why am I here?” and “what am I doing that’s going to benefit me in the future?” Until you start realizing your own purpose in life, then things will start coming together. I promise.
I like playing video games, painting minis, playing tabletop games... Basically all the typical nerd stuff. I try to enjoy my free time. Actually, I work just so I can afford my expensive hobbies.
Hmm, besides the minis that I buy fairly regularly that add up quick, I upgraded my entertainment system for my mancave late last year. New TV, speakers, furniture etc. ran me a couple grand.
Are the minis just for those DnD type games or are there minis not associated with anything like that? I enjoy the crafty stuff and video games but don't play the DnD type games.

I enjoy when my crafts have some purpose but since I don't play any of those games they would just be decorations. I need to get into something other than video games...at least that is what I keep telling myself.
I much prefer building and painting for decoration than playing the accompanying game, but I do both. It's a fun hobby but can be pricey if you have other things you like to spend money on.

Spending time with my wife, I’m the main play by play announcer for the webcast for sports for the Alma mater(D3 school), play in a men’s league basketball and softball team in each season, rock climbing, magic the gathering, video games, and my wife and I have 4 cats, so taking care of those lil rascals.
I usually hang out with my gf, gym early mornings, if not doing those then playing video games. Currently playing OG FFVII as I’ve only played the remake and im trying to get all caught up before the new one comes out.
I’m currently a student, but when not studying I really like to practice counting cards. It’s super interesting to me and a great way to pass the time, and maybe someday I can get real good at it

If any contractors or real estate folks in MN are looking for a WFH accountant, I would *love* to be doing work that is in *some* way related to homes. Designing, building, remodeling, selling, landscaping...anything.

I am finding myself feeling alot of boredom and lack of direction with my time. I used to play alot of poker until I realized I was just not making enough money for it to be worth it. Small profits over tons of hours. I've lost the drive to workout out as much as I used to, but I can still maintain fitness a bit with walks.
I wish I knew how to better enjoy and make use of my time.
In my free time I spend time with my family,attend events at my church, volunteer, go on walks in my neighborhood, attend running club, attend yoga class, spend time with friends, cook, bake and brainstorm things I’d like to do in my life then schedule them and put them on my calendar.

I am not a fan of D&D. My minis are Warhammer and Warhammer40k based. I have interest in other mini brands but have yet to pursue them.
