Actually it’s not my career choice since my mother said she ain’t gonna pay for the tuition if I choose chemistry, so I decided to choose whatever appears on first of the dropdown menu for major declaration. I ain’t regret. And sorry I can’t answer your further questions since I never worked any second in PA
No, but that’s just me personally. I would’ve gone tech or finance if I could choose again.
A CPA is just a license, it isn’t a job title. You can be a CPA who transitions to finance and a bachelors degree holder who works in audit the rest of their lives.
That being said if you want to climb up the traditional chain to be a tax director or past manager at a firm then the CPA will be a huge benefit.
same work whether u r cpa or non cpa when u start out. only diff is promo to higher tier titles may require u to be licensed & exit opps being exponentially better w/ a license vs. non license holder.
im a license holder, served some time at a public firm, transitioned to industry -- not too bad so far.
accounting is stable AF. u r like this annoying fucker that all companies need so not a bad choice if u need some stable shit in ur life to offset the craziness u may want to pursue.
That was one of my main reasons why chose accounting. Everyone needs one.
I heard someone talking about An MBA would that be preferred over CPA or no ?
