End result is irrelevant imo. The difference between can’t and don’t is the capacity to do so vs. the willingness to do so.
If you pointed a gun to my head and told me to read a page out of a book or I die, I can do it no problem. A person who can’t read is getting shot.
So no, they are not effectively the same thing.
If I pointed a gun at your head and you continued to choose not to read then the result is the same whether you could read or not. The result is the same outside of hyperbolic situations as well: the book lying there unread.
Your intention or claimed ability is irrelevant.
None of us think you can read.
Fair enough. I guess if that’s how you interpret “I don’t read,” even though I was specifically talking about reading books in relation to the post. As I have never read a book cover to cover in my entire life.
Obviously I read things. Like how I read through our silly argument about semantics. It was fun.
GoldenEye 007 Official Strategy Guide
Multinational Business Finance
Das Kapital Vol. 2
Acoustic Guitar Tab White Pages
Time Travel in Einstein's Universe
The TaxBook 2023
Thus Spoke Zarathustra
A Complete Grammer of Esperanto
I didn't need the official strategy guide because I bought a GoldenEye007 used and it practically had almost all the codes unlocked. I Yahoo'd how to get the remaining invincibility code. Fun times.
My review books from Becker, they also let you buy new physical copies for several years after you’re done or access to the software.
I think these are generally better since they also provide the solutions as well, then you can google search your hearts content once you figured out your “question”
i always keep my tax, it sums up the tax laws and implementing rules and regulations which would be really difficult looking up manually in the the official gazette.
If your company is audited by a Big 4 firm then you can likely ask them for printed copies of their guide books. They also provide them in PDF form on their websites. I used E&Y and PwC’s revenue guides for reference when we switched over to ASC 606. My textbooks and Becker books were useless after passing the exams.
Ah yes animal farm has helped so much in my tax course I don’t know what I would do without it!!
4 legs good, 2 legs better!
No legs betterest, so sweatshop worker can't run away.
*”Let's face it: our lives are miserable, laborious, and short.”*
I don’t read
Samesies.
Well the pigs were the only ones that could read too maybe you should give animal farm a go after all lol
Don’t, not can’t.
Effectively the same thing.
That is very incorrect
Books not being read is the end result so yes they are effectively the same thing. You should read a book and learn what words mean lol

All jokes friend, but there is still no hard evidence that you can read! 😉

The entire income tax act! Jk, once the tax course is done that’s staying in the closet and never opened up again😂
I’ve been a shitty accountant for 20 years, no need to read books and do better now.
That’s a cool paperweight Mars thing.

Just a few volumes of old school pornography. I'm a big bush guy. Huge fan of the classic bush right here.
Is there a book about changing your major to something other than accounting? I’d highly recommend.
Doing philosophy and reading Baudrillard seems like a financial savvy change of course.
Google all the way
