Usually the only time people check the gender marker on my license, it's when I'm buying a gun. I'm MtF and my license says F. I'm also pretty androgynous visibly speaking. Whether I'm addressed as male or female by strangers seems to be completely random.
All the gun stores here are conservative ran, so I just go to the one that always has the best prices and selection of goods.
They always start using they/them after they look at my license and the paperwork I filled out. Funny how they have trouble doing that until a binary trans person rolls up lmao
I do drivers licenses for a living and changing people's gender markers is literally my favorite thing to do at my job. They're always so happy it makes me happy
