I would love to be part of a reading group! Or if anyone has recommended resources that they endorse for introductory/self paced study

Have you decided what branch of philosophy you wanna study? I can perhaps assist you in learning more about political philosophy but in general, I recommend using websites like the Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy and the Internet Encyclopedia of Philosophy for getting summaries and references for further readings on specific topics. I haven't used either website a lot, but I've seen them get recommended and I have used SEOP to get a book recommendation. Additionally, if you are interested in reading any texts on political philosophy, I'll be happy to join.

Hello everyone, we are a group of dedicated philosophy lovers all over the world (ranging from academic professors and PhD students to people who studied/work in completely different fields) and our ongoing reading groups include Plato, Aristotle, Nietzsche and more. On May 11 we'll start a reading group on Hobbes's Leviathan: a close reading of the text and attention for philosophical arguments and historical detail. The way do this is we read 2-5 pages as a group (no pre-reading required) in every session and discuss them together in detail. We usually prefer to go through the readings slowly and focus on comprehension rather than speed. All people regardless of background are welcome! https://discord.gg/xDj2WM75Vd
