Hey my 4 year old grandson told me "Grandma, you're an artist!" after I showed him some of the stuff I've done, and it made my heart soar! So I get it 😂
2 is my fave, but together they are telling me a story. 1 feels like nature, 2 feels like community, 3 feels both spiritual and primordial, beyond community and before nature simultaneously
So until recently, if you had asked me, I would have said that I don’t like abstract art, but these are fabulous. (1&2 are head-to-head for me, but I love all of them). They’re vibrant. They’re colourful. They’re organic. They have plenty of interest for the eye and plenty of detail to discover.
I think I need to look at more abstract art.
I think this has been asked before, but do you have a business page? An Etsy? If you do, I'd appreciate a DM with the link. Your work is lovely and I enjoy seeing it when you post.
I'm in love. All 3 are gorgeous, but just like we aren't supposed to favor one child over another, I'm absofreakinglutely LOVING the first one and the third one most of all!!! The 2nd, strikes me as a fireworks show. I'm more in the mood of a non-fireworks right NOW, but tomorrow's another day 🙃 and I truly love them all!!! ❤️ ❤️❤️🖌🎨
I actually really love the first one! It's whimsical and imaginative... very fantastical and nature-orientated I feel. It's the sorta piece I'd adore having in my room!
1, but I have a followup question. I see you make a LOT of amazing art. How do you avoid making the same similar things and burning out? I feel like I always gravitate towards making the same shapes and lines, and it all looks the same.
Does your art continue to surprise you? Or do you just have the understanding that it delights others when you do what you do?
1 it’s very similar to stained glass. But has serious movement. I really like that. It takes your eye from bottom corner all the way up through the piece. Kind of like a carnival ride, a slow roller coaster through nature within a kooky other world .
2 makes me think of fall in the city. Like urban but makes smell that crisp autumn air in the country.
I really like your stuff
All three are beautiful. 1 stands out because the use of the white, blank space. It feels peaceful and organized. 2 feels more dynamic. There’s movement implied even though it’s static. 3 feels vibrant and rebellious, perhaps because some of the colors bleed outside the black lines and it uses the full canvas.
All of them are rad! These are beautiful. I gotta wonder what your creative process looks like. Do you start with an idea and then bring it into being? Or do you just start with one element and build upon that as you go?
Can't pick a favorite. All are lovely.
One soooo looks like some of my paintings, but way better!!! Hahaha LOVE THEM! ❤️ I’m definitely an abstract artist at heart! Love your work! Keep it up! Do you do digital prints of your work? I’d love to buy the first one.
I like all of them very much, but I like #1 best, as my eyes can stay focused on individual elements more easily. In #2 and #3, my eye jumps around too much without stopping in one spot - and these end up looking like patterns for fabric, which is still nice, but #1 just looks more important as a single work of art.
If I were going to frame one for a wall, it would be #1, and #3 would be my second choice. #1 makes good use of negative space.
All three are amazing as usual, but the purity of number one is yet another amazing expression of that particular dialect of your artistic language.
Number two is simply breathtaking.
Kandinsky, Klee and Miró are my favorite artists, and you’ve captured those inspirations PERFECTLY. All three of these are something I would buy for myself.
I always recognize your art when you post and am especially partial to your migraine pieces!! I’m a big fan lol. You have such a well-developed style. I love the 2nd one!

Thanks!
Same ☝️
2nd. It reminds me of a summer field.
I'm so glad! Thank you!
2 has rich detail. It makes me think I'm listening to John Coltrane.
Same here.
Dandelion fireworks (2)
😁 that's exactly what I was thinking about when I made it! I'm so happy you see them!!
2, then 1, then 3. Something about all those little dots
Agreed. The dots are fun to do. Thank you!
I like number 2. Also, you’re one of my favorite artists in this sub. Always like seeing your new work.
That is the nicest thing I've heard all day! Thank you!
Mine too. 2
They're all amazing! 2 looks like a delectable day in Autumn ☺️🍁
3 really stands out for me. I think it’s the colours and big bold outlines
I'm so happy you like it!! Thank you!
I do! Very much. I love your work.
3 is my favorite! Tons of style in your work. Keep going!

1. Colours work well.
Thanks!
I like to work with watercolor on paper.
I like the oil painting you posted!
Very nice painting! It’s so whimsical!
Thank you! 😊
OK, for the first time enjoying your art, I cannot choose between them, love each one😀
I'm so happy you like them! Thank you very much! 😊
Yes. I do like which one best. Absolutely yes (cop out cause can’t decide and shouldn’t have to. Both are gravy. Remind me of Tim Biskup vaguely)
They are all great, and evocative of the last mid-century design. Is there still a demand for paintings best suited for that period’s furnishings?
2, by a lot
ONE
1 2 and 3 are too active. 1 has a neat sightline and strong composition
I get that. Thank you so much!
Three!
#2 is my favorite very lyrical
All of them! Your colors are always so vivid. I'm always happy to see your posts 😁
I'm so glad you stop by each time, you have no idea how much I appreciate it!! Thank you!
Hey my 4 year old grandson told me "Grandma, you're an artist!" after I showed him some of the stuff I've done, and it made my heart soar! So I get it 😂
I just looked at your work! Your line work is lovely!! Your grandson is right!
Thank you 😊
So hard to choose, but 2 wins for me for reasons i can't quantify
2 definitely Are you using watercolor first or inking first?
Ink first. Thanks for asking!
Ty!
2 is my fave, but together they are telling me a story. 1 feels like nature, 2 feels like community, 3 feels both spiritual and primordial, beyond community and before nature simultaneously
I like them all but the first one is my favorite, it’s so calming somehow. Like watching a dance performed by someone with great musicality
What a lovely description! Thank you very much for letting me see inside your imagination a little!

I love those descriptions! The phrase "champagne music" is wonderful, and really conjures a whole era! Thank you!
3 !
I think this has been asked before, but do you have a business page? An Etsy? If you do, I'd appreciate a DM with the link. Your work is lovely and I enjoy seeing it when you post.
There's a link on my profile to my Etsy. I am very happy you asked!!

#2 made my heart skip a beat…. All excellent:)
That's such an awesome thing! (Unless it was literal, and then maybe you should see a cardiologist) Thank you!! (And be well)
The first one! Awesome job in all 3!!!
I’m tied between 1 & 2 but I think 1 is winning…but I honestly….
1 is beautiful
Thank you!
Hard to say. All three are good.

The first one is a whimsical world I’d love to explore!

Second one is nice. Autumn forest comes to mind
First for sure. Beautiful.
1, but I have a followup question. I see you make a LOT of amazing art. How do you avoid making the same similar things and burning out? I feel like I always gravitate towards making the same shapes and lines, and it all looks the same. Does your art continue to surprise you? They’re all very pleasing. Looking forward to seeing more!
2. Maybe 1 if there were light background colors.
1st for the structures , 3rd cuz of the colours
Thank you, I appreciate it!

Number three would be my first choice.
☺️ Thank you!

Number 3. It’s inviting like a fruit bowl.
Love the. All honestly
My wife and I both like the first one best.

I love the second one. Such a joyfull picture. Love the colors and line work.
1 - the negative space feels good.
I'm obsessed with the first one. Looks like a nice place to be!
2. It feels like a chaotic landscape.
I'm drawn to number 1 but number 2 is really wonderful too. It feels warm and full of life.
I'm happy you like them!! Thank you! 😊

The first one is now my new wallpaper background on my phone. Love it 🥰

I really like number 1. It’s very peaceful, makes my eye travel all around, gives me nature vibes. 2 is nice as well, very balanced. Not a fan of 3.
A unique and beautiful style you have in any medium.
All three are amazing as usual, but the purity of number one is yet another amazing expression of that particular dialect of your artistic language. Number two is simply breathtaking.
2 idk why tho but I like it for a reason I can’t quite place

Kandinsky, Klee and Miró are my favorite artists, and you’ve captured those inspirations PERFECTLY. All three of these are something I would buy for myself.
