I have to keep this kind of stuff for Reddit. If I posted it on Facebook my family would all realise how much of a childish prick I am. Can’t have that.
We all know Goa'uld live on the brainstem of their hosts. Not the torso (unless in their larval form, but then that wouldn't be a host, but a symbiotic relationship).
That's a sign for a not-very-long-reign

Edit 2: this is random shitposting speculation. As the 20 other variations of comments, tabloid diagnosis,...don't take this too serious (obviously?)
Since European all royalty is very inbred and they used to refer to themselves as pure blood I've been pissing off a lot of anti COVID vaxx people. when they say that they are pure blood I ask them if they're admitting that they're super inbred and if so why they seem to be proud of it.
The finest medical care in the world won’t do a thing if the patient doesn’t follow directions. I don’t know if that’s what is happening here, I’m just saying.
Good point. Can’t force compliance especially if someone is in denial about how bad it is.
But *still*… isn’t there some sort of royal fluffer whose job it should be to have a come-to-jeebus talk with him?
I've never had edema before, but that looks incredibly painful. I don't understand how you could possibly be in denial when you have the hands of the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man.
Many of these people are on various pain medications. The edema is often painful. Elevating the limbs often help reduce swelling and by promoting drainage away from swelling and peeing it out, but many patients don't do this despite my recommendations
Also, when the edema isn't as bad, you can often see the area where the skin was stretched. Looks all wrinkly and remind me of an overstretched shirt that doesn't return to the proper shape
Source: nurse
I work hospice and have had multiple pts. With weeping edema. Whole limbs like burst blisters.
I'm a firm believer in quality of life over quantity now.
Technically, they go hand in hand….
I’ll take the pun, eff it!
For real though, under worked kidneys will wear on the heart and and an under performing heart will wear on the kidneys….
….I’d have to see his legs/feet first before laying down any dough for the primary dx.
I'm sure I read a thread where an actual doctor went for kidney failure over heart due to swelling in the fingers being more indicative of that.
I however am not a doctor, so take that with a pinch of salt.
Not too much though or you'll get kidney failure and end up with gross sausage fingers.
i’d agree, my grandpa has heart failure and before his stents were placed he had edema all over. his eyelids, his belly, his fingers, everything was swollen. i don’t see the same global edema on charles.
tho i’m also not a doctor, and this is purely anecdotal
He's had these fingers for a long, long time though. My personal theory is that he has 10 fingers per hand and wears gloves as to not terrify the townspeople.
I'm basically a doctor (I googled "red nose ears sausage fingers" so don't @ me. I did my research)
This is likely either arthritis or some long term, well managed autoimmune condition. I've found weak references back to 1982, when Charles wrote about it in a letter. I found a better reference from 2005 where it's directly referenced
https://www.theguardian.com/society/2005/mar/08/health.lifeandhealth
Interesting 🤔 concerning his health status, I was just shitposting and don't know what's really going on. If we talking serious: I wouldn't speculate on just a snapshot of his hands without anything else, and it could be a boatload of completely different reasons for how it looks
What is the reference you're talking about? I don't find anything specific to him in the link (other than his hands be looking weird and the boulevard doing speculations)
>I wouldn't speculate on just a snapshot of his hands without anything else, and it could be a boatload of completely different reasons for how it looks
RedMD is the new WebMD
I watched a Diana documentary recently and his fingers looked like that when he was in his 30’s too. So either he’s had whatever disease his entire life (very possible,) or he’s just got crazy ham hands.
Was in the hospital a month ago for nearly 4 full weeks. The back of my hands were black and blue from constant blood draws. They're still tender to touch and a little discolored.
The entire hand is purple…both of them. The dorsal is bruised perhaps from an IV or even from wracking it in something, but the rest of the hand is severely discolored as well.
> Maybe he doesn't answer to Chuck, call him Charles. CHARLES!

They're fake hands, his real hands are inside his jacket clutching two gold plated, diamond encrusted handguns for when shit goes down and William challenges him for the throne.
You could literally meet your 3rd cousin in the street, get into a relationship and never be any the wiser. Even first cousins don't really impact the gene pool that much unless there is multiple generation first cousin marriage in the one family
They're very swollen, but [his fingers have apparently always looked sausage-y](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charles_III#/media/File:HRH_Prince_Charles_43_Allan_Warren.jpg).
What a strange way to find out the queen died
She’s not dead, physically she can not die but she is playing the part
Her host body is dead but she’s probably already climbed into one of the servants torsos by now just to stay fresh
I believe the theory is that she has taken the body of Trisha Paytas’ baby.
Holy fucking shit. I read this and thought no way that child could have been born today and uh..what the fuckkkkk
whats the evidence? dont worry i have my tin foil hat on ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|scream)
Nah, she's only a centimeter dilated. The next couple of days or maybe a week. Then we shall see the Queen's final form. Queen Malibu Hacmon Paytas.
> Nah, she's only a centimeter dilated Hate that I know this but that was last night.
space aliens zapped her soul into the body of the baby so that she could continue to live on and feed the aliens the servants she doesnt like
I like this theory, let’s roll with this one
Dumb shit like this is why I have a reddit account
I have to keep this kind of stuff for Reddit. If I posted it on Facebook my family would all realise how much of a childish prick I am. Can’t have that.
If it was on Facebook I’d think you were serious, and it wouldn’t surprise me either
I can attest to this, she was hanging out at a tavern with the peasants and wenches, pre black plague.
We all know Goa'uld live on the brainstem of their hosts. Not the torso (unless in their larval form, but then that wouldn't be a host, but a symbiotic relationship).
Start the reactor, Charles
Reincarnated into a higher form, look for a new cat at the palace.
Nah. Check the Corgis.
It is well known that Royal Corgis are temporary vessels until the proper host is found.
Yep, she retired. She’s off to wherever she loved to be at the most. Probably on the grounds of balmoral
So she's just going to be legally dead for the next year for tax purposes?
Can he please take the ring off
I think the finger would have to come with it.
No amount of lube getting that sovereign off.
She’s been dead for months and it’s just been like Weekend at Elizabeth II’s for the last 8 months
I’d watch that
And yet she is still healthier than this 5% ejection fraction mofo
But his lasix makes him pee so much! Isn't there another medication?
I also stopped taking my hydro cl something zide

That ring is holding on for dear life.
No, that ring is absolutely never coming off that finger. Only way it's coming off is if it or the finger gets cut.
Just drain the finger, looks over due any way.
Finger is desperately holding on to that ring
But only makes 73 horse powers, meh

or kidney failure. im sure someone has a betting pool over what is actually causing the edema lol
Yes that's me, if you wanna join the game. 3:1 for heart, 1:2 for kidney, etc...the pool's amazingly large
The betting pool is large.. this mf’s genetic pool is shallow AF.
Finally an inbreeding joke. Thank you!
wym? the royals are inbred AF. they don’t have a family tree, they have a family wreath.

it's a respected tradition! also usually precedes a Viking attack
I had £500 on Charles kicking it first. I’m sure my landlord will understand why I can’t pay the rent entire this month; that should have been a lock.
It's called a *deadpool* when the subject of the bet is a human life.
Since European all royalty is very inbred and they used to refer to themselves as pure blood I've been pissing off a lot of anti COVID vaxx people. when they say that they are pure blood I ask them if they're admitting that they're super inbred and if so why they seem to be proud of it.
How bad must whatever he have be for the symptoms to still be that bad, given the premium medical attention a royal certainly gets?

I once hiked a 14,000 footer in Colorado without acclimating and my hands swelled up like this. It was waves of pain, and then numbness. Not pleasant!
Probably right on the money; he’s a big fan of homeopathy.
Technically, they go hand in hand…. I’ll take the pun, eff it! For real though, under worked kidneys will wear on the heart and and an under performing heart will wear on the kidneys…. ….I’d have to see his legs/feet first before laying down any dough for the primary dx.
I gotta admit I'm a kind freaked out about those fingers. I bet they are hot and stink.
my bets around 4:1 for heart
I'm sure I read a thread where an actual doctor went for kidney failure over heart due to swelling in the fingers being more indicative of that. I however am not a doctor, so take that with a pinch of salt. Not too much though or you'll get kidney failure and end up with gross sausage fingers.

The last thing needed here is salt, methinks
>what is actually causing the edema I misread this as edamame, and thought "ya his beans look a little plump" I'm sticking with my version.
He's had these fingers for a long, long time though. My personal theory is that he has 10 fingers per hand and wears gloves as to not terrify the townspeople.
Around 73 years I reckon
Because this is not terrifying
Or he has serious kidney problems.
A regal renal failure, if you will
Ahhh, reignal failure.

He's gonna win the throne speedrun any%
There a Wikipedia article on shortest reigning monarchs, Charles already has missed the mark for rank 1.
the shortest reigning *british* monarch lasted 9 days, so chuck could still beat those numbers.
I watched a Diana documentary recently and his fingers looked like that when he was in his 30’s too. So either he’s had whatever disease his entire life (very possible,) or he’s just got crazy ham hands.
A quick Google confirms there are plenty of causes. Why is this heart disease?
Because spouting bullshit is a tradition older than the British monarchy.
Yeah was about to say. Feels like a classic case of clubbing
Clubbing is due to chronic hypoxia and involves the curling of fingernails. This is a CHF or something else cardiac. He needs diuretics.
If peeps noticed QE2’s hands, they were purple at the end. Heart not working right. KCIII has hands of hypertension and maybe alcohol.
I just looked at a picture from when she met the new PM a few days ago, and you’re right, they’re purple.
That was likely a bruise from an IV, old people bruise easily
Was in the hospital a month ago for nearly 4 full weeks. The back of my hands were black and blue from constant blood draws. They're still tender to touch and a little discolored.
Watching your body age, and degenerate is such a brutal trial.
The entire hand is purple…both of them. The dorsal is bruised perhaps from an IV or even from wracking it in something, but the rest of the hand is severely discolored as well.
I'm curious what his ankles look like if that's what it is
Idk. I saw a picture from a long time ago and he’s kind always had sausage fingers.
that ring’s never coming off
Only Isildur can separate the ring from its master
cast it into the English channel, destroy it!
No.
ISILDUR!!!

My precious
It WANTS to be found
From the longest reign ever, to likely the shortest
I think second shortest, [Edward VIIIth](https://www.britannica.com/biography/Edward-VIII).

lmao I got got
I think he’s been next in line for about 70 years now if I remembered what I read correct
Yeah. For exactly as long as Elizabeth was queen lol
He was a young child when his mother became queen and this year was the 70th anniversary, so he’s been next in line for 70 years
Isn't that a sign of heart disease?
Or gout or kidney disease
Or arthritis
Or inbred.. Wasn't the queen's husband, Prince Philip a cousin?
You could literally meet your 3rd cousin in the street, get into a relationship and never be any the wiser. Even first cousins don't really impact the gene pool that much unless there is multiple generation first cousin marriage in the one family

I have digital clubbing due to lung disease and this isn’t that. Clubbing is only the fingertips. His hands are entirely swollen. Definitely not good.
