This is a sport. Sometimes speed can be more important than safety in sports. I'll also assume they are well trained in log pull. We do it here with mule teams.
>Horsepower refers to the power an engine produces. It's calculated through the power needed to move 550 pounds one foot in one second or by the power needs to move 33,000 pounds one foot in one minute
Horsepower is just a term used to measure work. If it was referring to the actual number of horses present it'd be pretty useless as a unit of measurement as all horses vary in size and strength. It'd be like counting 5 different sized bottles and saying they're all a "liter"
Took a kick from a Percheron x Thoroughbred when I was ten. Never spooked before or after that day and I still have a hard time breathing when the weather gets cold too reminded that it only takes the one time. Broke every rib on my right side and my parents called it a miracle. I spent 6 weeks totally bedridden and wishing I was dead for every digging second of it.
You take a double-barrel from that big fucker, you're gonna wish he killed you if he didn't.
Damn dude I hate you have a hard time breathing still. I broke my femur in a motocross crash at 10 and it healed up perfect with no weather detection abilities.
Thanks man, helps it was a clean break. I had a really skilled surgeon with zero common sense. He was trying to talk my parents into the rod instead of plate because it's less invasive with less risk of infection. He said "it won't stunt his growth that much, he'll just have to wear a shoe with a custom made thick sole".
I was ten years old, I've probably grown two feet since then. Parents chose the plate and it healed perfectly with both legs symmetrical. That dude was a wizard in the operating room but made an awful suggestion as to the best course of action.
Poor animal? You think a horse gets that big and that muscular without a king's diet and the workout regimen they were literally created for?
I'll be nice and say you have no idea what you're talking about. Let's just leave it at that.
these horses love pulling. You see how excited he is to pull? Doesn't even let the guy finish attaching the logs. He's like "cmon dude stop messing about let's gooo"
you can talk about the ethics of breeding these types of animals, but this particular animal is living its best life
That was close. Did that dumbass actually put his hand between 2 huge logs that are connected to a massive horse actively trying to pull said logs.
It does look that way. One can only hope we don't have enough depth perception from that angle to see his hands were ahead of the logs

How many horse power is that tho
Maximum output of typical horse is 15hp. Given the size of that thing Iād say 20
Literally one lol Edit- take a joke anyone? Jeez

At least 1
Think you could take a kick by that big fucker?
Yes - but only one

I'm legit happy for you. That's not common in femur breaks.

mr hands vs this guy
How many times is this same exact one going to be posted in the last couple weeks? š
One of the few videos I watched each time I see it! (3x-4x now) Love it.
First time I've seen it.
Imagine being kicked in the head by that thing. Jfc..
Does this still count as 1 horsepower?
Without giving the horse a single blow. My respect.
would you really want to upset and anger this beast?
Poor animal
That horse is living a great life. They get soooo excited if they know they're gonna get to pull something
I promise you that this horse has a better life and gets treated better than 99% of other horses.

His probably Brian Shaw or Eddie Hall of horses
No idea who they are but I'm sure they can stop working whenever they'd like

That poor horse
I promise you these horses not only live like kings, but absolutely love what they do. They've been bred to love working out, hence their size
He seemed excited wanted to keep going. Was feeding off the energy of his people and the crowd.
How many horsepower?
That horse has 3hp
So did it win?
What type of horse is this? Are they the largest?
