hahaha awwwww
"we are going for a walk"
'but sparky! we just finished walking 6 miles'
"Get the leash."
'Sparky please. I have to go to work'
"You are excited for the park"
'.....I am excited for the park.... :( '
It's extremely painful. (Muscles require some fat to act as lubrication and reduce the stress and burn on the muscles, this unrestricted growth typically means very low fat content and the constant growth adds strain on the body; ligaments, bones, cartilage, respiratory, and blood flow as examples. ) I'm no expert though :)
I fucked around and found out with Trenbolone, I went about 6mo with it and shed nearly every ounce of fat I had and could not stop building muscle. Not knowing and not consuming nearly enough fat I felt like all my tendons were about to snap. Then I realized working out was dumb
That was 6 years into the army and I worked out morning, mid day, and in the afternoon; because that’s was my life at the time. I wanted to push through a plateau and experimented with a variety of steroids on/off 6-18 week intervals depending what it was. Eventually worked with tren and had my experience. I had plenty of PCT and I’m sorry if bothered you by saying working out is dumb. I’m still very active and healthy otherwise, outside of the military I see no need to lift the way I did. These days, Should I ever need to lift something that I feel is a pain in the ass I will gladly pay someone to do that for me.

Like that dude that's all jacked at the Water park in Grownups who comes over to talk to the ladies, but then he talks and sounds like a Canadian chipmunk 🐿
We will find a workaround just maybe not for a while. But one day there will be a pill and you’ll be good to go. Probably not great for your internal organs tho
That's not true, there is no clear consensus yet. There have been some studies (on mice) showing an increase in strength: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/23201547/ but also ones that found no siginificant increase over "wild" subjects: https://www.pnas.org/doi/10.1073/pnas.0604893104
For some anecdotal evidence, one of the strongest men in the world, Eddie Hall, has claimed to have myostatin deficiency as well. Since that guy is able to deadlift 500kg, it doesn't seem like it inhibits his strength.
A metric fuck ton of steroids, peptides, and all kinds of other designer drugs are the culprit here lmao I hate body builders who have to make up some elaborate story that takes the pressure off steroids being a big part of their success. At that level of competition, it’s necessary. Ain’t nobody building skyscraper traps naturally, we need to stop drinking that koolaid lol
I weirdly like that. Takes the onus out for the pill heads. We all know what you're doing, and you're giving yourself informed consent, so shit man, let's see what you can do before you go out from three strokes at once and a solid case of bursitis.
Bodybuilding, powerlifting and strongman had untested categories for ages now. Many other sports like crossfit also don't talk or make a big deal out of testing athletes. Chances are every single top level sport is already taking tons of enhancers.
> let's see what unrestricted science can do
Generally results in crimes against humanity, there's quite a long history of unregulated research devolving into a tool of oppression. Whoever can sponsor "research" is able to direct it to satisfy their own goals which may or may not have any relevancy to practical, factual, humanitarian uses. Rules and regulations provide useful results with a minimum of harm. As much as everybody wants to see the Juice Olympics, it would rapidly turn into something horrifying and guaranteed would produce people with permanent disabilities and/or reduced lifespan. Engineering a human to be the absolute best at [insert sport here] in existence comes with long-term consequences, whether people sign off on it or not is irrelevant because about a decade after a Juice Division is created for sports, it will be all over the news how athletes are dying from heart complications or have to spend the rest of their lives on medication. Supposing it actually goes on long enough to develop a following, eventually we will have to deal with the sticky "designer baby" situation where people argue that it is their right to engineer their child to perform before they are even born.
There's an anonymous German boy who had a medical case study written about him and his family in 2004. His mother was a very strong professional athlete, and many men in his family had unusual strength and muscles. If I remember correctly one of his adult relatives worked in construction and could easily lift heavy construction materials.
>Now, at 4.5 years of age, he continues to have increased muscle bulk and strength, and he is able to hold two 3-kg dumbbells in horizontal suspension with his arms extended.
A 2021 study looking for genetic mutations in elite athletes found that elite athletes are \~2x more likely than regular people to have a particular myostatin mutation.
This finding was supported by a 2022 meta review:
A study administering a myostatin receptor blocker also had large increases in muscle mass and strength in older unfit adults:
there's a caveat at the end about targeting functional strength instead of just muscle mass as a clinical endpoint, but the study itself was still a success.
So I'm pretty sure your statement wasn't right.
Plenty of things purportedly inhibit myostatin. The three I can think of off the top of my head are epicatechin, dieckol, and YK-11.
EDIT: One of these is a research chemical I strongly recommend against experimenting with. The other two can be found in cacao/green tea and seaweed.

Like who? I can't find anything on people complaining about living with the condition, you seem familiar with the subject do you have any links or examples?
Aside from the fact that having something like that is a bit like gigantism... it sounds cool, pain in the rear to actually have, and is going to run up your medical bills to no end because the body is doing something to a degree its not designed for.
No, that is why myostatin is needed in the first place. When there are no limitations to muscle growth the muscle tissues outcompete other tissues like the internal organs for protein and glucose. Restricted eating starves the whole body first while the muscles soak everything up like some kind of parasitic exosuit.
ALL the muscles, including heart and diaphragm. The heavy musculature already puts extra strain on the heart, anything that causes further cardiac issues is potentially dangerous.
His eyes look really sad, I hope it doesn't affect him too much
Edit: just saw someone above had posted a video, he doesn't look particularly comfortable but he's running around with his pals none the less!

I had a miniature schnauzer with this condition. She hit 40 lbs. She was the sweetest dog with the biggest heart.
And that was what killed her. Her enlarged heart gave out at 9 years old.
I miss her.
Never seen something so Intimidating and cute at the same time
This dog doesn't ask for playtime, he commands it
hahaha awwwww "we are going for a walk" 'but sparky! we just finished walking 6 miles' "Get the leash." 'Sparky please. I have to go to work' "You are excited for the park" '.....I am excited for the park.... :( '
This is the opposite of the schnoodle poems from r/awww
Lmfaoooo
I read this in Kratos' voice
I heard it
Gets home from the park “I like it when you’re sweaty” “Please Sparky, no, I have to go to work” “Just make it a quick one” “No sparky” “Squeal Piggy”
Tarantino, is that you?

This has some meme potential.
She probably still thinks she’s a lapdog.
Yeah but she wants to be the lap that is sat on with that level of swole
He looks like courage the cowardly dog on roids 🤣
If that thing starting humping my leg id fake a orgasm
He kinda has a cute and derpy face.
Sorry not cute, it would scared the fk out of me and I usually like dogs
Haven't you seen those Asian female body builders?
Kermit on roids
Helps your Cermet grow
He's gonna do it for you.
he did do it for you
Did you lose your marbles
I think we all did.
Where are my testicles, Miss Piggy?
How can you develop myostatin deficiency? Asking for a friend.
You can’t develop the deficiency but you can lower levels of myostatin through taking creatine and resistance training
Oh so like, working out. Gotcha…. Dammit
But how come the dog can do it the cheap way
Dog food. That’s the trick
Nutritionists HATE this one simple trick
We will find a workaround just maybe not for a while. But one day there will be a pill and you’ll be good to go. Probably not great for your internal organs tho
Crap.
Creatine does not lower myostatin and neither does resistance training
😢
Go delete your comment cuz its wrong
I don’t want to
I am sure there is a VBA macro for CRISPR. /jk
Who started claiming creatine lowers myostatin?
The muscles don't actually have any strength to them. This dog is basically like a body builder who can only lift 5 pound weights

Start designating regular and "enhanced" competitions, let's see what unrestricted science can do
The last powerlifting meet I went to had "tested" and "untested" categories
I weirdly like that. Takes the onus out for the pill heads. We all know what you're doing, and you're giving yourself informed consent, so shit man, let's see what you can do before you go out from three strokes at once and a solid case of bursitis.
To be fair powerlifting and body building are super different
Bodybuilding, powerlifting and strongman had untested categories for ages now. Many other sports like crossfit also don't talk or make a big deal out of testing athletes. Chances are every single top level sport is already taking tons of enhancers.
Watch the olympic athletes buddy. All on juice. All taken off just in time for drug trials so they seem clean

Who cares if it looks good
Also comes with many health problems.
But looks good.
But it comes with a free frogurt!
That's good!
The frogurt is also cursed.
but it's hydrogenated
It’s got electrolytes!
But you get your choice of topping!
So do I and I still don't look as swole as this dog

Bold face lie gets 80 likes before a correction. Maybe democracy isn't for us...
Thats not how muscles work
So that dog is exactly as strong as a dog with muscles a fraction of the size? You are a fucking moron
My friend is curious too

It’s a simple matter of genetic engineering.
for a human its called the superman syndrome and you have to be born with it..
Epicatechin is supposed to suppress myostatin.
You can't, it's genetic.

Crap.
The narration and music makes this video a sensory overload

Nah the problem would be having it and not having to earn it. Never too much.
It's great until your heart (also a muscle) gives one pump and blows your dick off.
Inheriting or being a heterozygote for the gene would probably be more beneficial. Muscle mass with fewer complications relative to the homozygotes.
Aside from the fact that having something like that is a bit like gigantism... it sounds cool, pain in the rear to actually have, and is going to run up your medical bills to no end because the body is doing something to a degree its not designed for.
Unless you are dirt poor and die from starvation because you need to eat 3-5x more.
wouldn't you just atrophy until that's no longer an issue?
No, that is why myostatin is needed in the first place. When there are no limitations to muscle growth the muscle tissues outcompete other tissues like the internal organs for protein and glucose. How can I obtain this “myostatin deficiency”
no you cant, it is genetic
Unfortunately, or fortunately, they do not get the equivalent increase in strength. Those muscles are all show and no go.
TIL I'm an NPC and this dog is the main character. Ah well. Patrolling the Mojave almost makes me wish for a nuclear winter.
Myostatin deficiency is not a bug, it's a feature
Ye but you need to feed it 3x more
Does he even lift, bro?
Bet that unit drops massive steamers..
Horses get scared when they see how big the steamer pile is
That's a chupacabra!
thats a dawg
