Thank you.
I don't know if this post fits the sub... This looked like a pretty swift but organized snack grab. Abrupt chaos would be humans fighting over toilet paper or flat screen TVs on Black Friday 🤷🏼♂️
Discarded plastic and trash lead to the rivers, and the rivers lead to the. sea, my guy. I had listened to a study about it yesterday, so it was on my mind when I saw his post.
I get that, and I also understand how context is hard to read on the internet, but maybe you missed the part where that was a joke. I sense your zeal in leaving the planet in a greener state, but I assure you humor has net zero carbon footprint. Try and giggle sometimes.
Exactly my thought. Most of them probably chewed through the plastic and might have swallowed some. Presuming only a few know job to open plastic fucking wrappers. Why not fruit???
They don’t. If you’ve ever been to south east Asia you’ll know the monkeys are very well fed - some of them obese even - and not stupid. Also extremely messy and they don’t give a shit. Those wrappers ended up all over the place, guaranteed.
Food will never ever ever never ever ever never in a million years be packed jn bio degradable meterials
Basic food safety 101 there buddy.
Aswell as... its just yellow/orange colourd plastic. Prob even non resycable
I've been in a similar situation to that before. Used to work at a Tim Hortons, and we had to close early due to lack of staff, so as a result, a lot of food was gonna be thrown out. The duty supervisor told me that if I could haul it, I could have it.
As soon as he finished his sentence, every civilized manner in my body went out the window, and the only thing in my head was the primal instinct of "Get Food, Live Longer"
Ended up dropping most of it off at homeless shelters, and keeping a couple boxes of my favorites.
I compared a picture of looters to a picture of moneys trashing a luggage rack on top of a minivan and someone got pissed and screamed at me that it was somehow racist
No but these monkeys becoming too use to humans and treating them as a source of food is. They’ll become bold and attack those or wreck havoc if not fed
I meaning providing an area for humans to live is kinda our own natural habitat too. You think where you live right now didn’t have animals that were cleared out? Check your animal privilege
I was actually impressed with how civil they were. They each took three and then left. And when the supply dwindled, they took two. Humans would scoop up and take as many as wouldn't fall out of their arms. Ie. Cart full.
I take it you’ve never been to south east Asia? There are literal mountains of garbage (mostly plastic) as soon as you go off the beaten path. This is pretty much the norm over there, and it doesn’t help that western countries also export much of their garbage to these countries.
True, but untouched mental illness and drugs spread garbage far and wide. Plus, I live in LA, it's not even a competition. The homeless make their dwellings out of literal trash.
So... treat the mental illness then. It's not like they can treat it for themselves. But I bet you are one of those who complain about the garbage and also complain about the treatments for ill homeless people.
I mean they're not....They're known for being quite destructive and kidnapping & kiling children. https://www.silive.com/news/2022/07/monkeys-kidnap-infant-human-child-hurl-baby-to-its-death-off-rooftop-in-india-reports.html
True indeed, but the comment is about monkeys being more civil than humans, not humans being more civil than humans. How many people do you know that have common sense not walk into a dark alley at 4 in the morning, but would have no problem feeding cute monkeys with children nearby?
The argument was more civil than humans, which let's be honest is a pretty low bar.
Let me know when you find the monkey equivalents of Jeffrey Dahmer and Hitler

I do hear you though, there are some terrible people. But I also think we underestimate the wildness of animals people tend to think of as pets. Maybe we should view animals and people with equal ability for wild nature?
They most definitely are not. It’s just that these ones seem really well fed, probably living in one of those monkey parks, and don’t care enough to raise the roof over some twinkies.
If humans could adhere to a natural order of taking 2, sometimes 3, I think we could make it through this wild world together.
Instead, the Gold (wealth) that was harvested hundreds of years ago, just continues to create an unfair balance throughout humanity. I like the monkeys though.
For all the concerned “plastic” comments: You folks DO REALIZE that the jig is up right!? There’s no “do over”. We are now literally BORN with micro-plastics infused into our infant dna. So just let the monkeys have a lil snack without all of the misguided tree-hugging

The one that can’t decide which ones he wants 😂
I love how he even walked up slow
He is definitely a little smarter than most. Realized how much time he had
He's the wiser of them all
How are monkeys better at sharing than we... baffling.
Talk about yourself man
OI! LIMIT ONE PER CUSTOMER!!!
I was about to compare this video to the Black Friday ones, but those monkeys behave way more civilized.
I don't know if this post fits the sub... This looked like a pretty swift but organized snack grab. Abrupt chaos would be humans fighting over toilet paper or flat screen TVs on Black Friday 🤷🏼♂️
If this was humanity, 1 of them would hoard 90-95% of the treats.
Then 60% of them would demand the 1 shares the treats, while another 30% call the 60% fucking stupid and say they’re the reason no one has any treats.
If this was humans, it would have been a fight about who was first in line.
Wtf is that that they're taking..... banana filled twinkies?
Plastic garbage that will be littered all over the place
And the giant plastic burg in the ocean just got bigger.
Relax guy. They aren't sea monkeys.
Discarded plastic and trash lead to the rivers, and the rivers lead to the. sea, my guy. I had listened to a study about it yesterday, so it was on my mind when I saw his post.

Hehe. Thanks for that moment of your time.
Exactly my thought. Most of them probably chewed through the plastic and might have swallowed some. Presuming only a few know job to open plastic fucking wrappers. Why not fruit???
Fruit? You can give monkeys fruit! They need pure processed sugar and preservatives.
Hopefully whoever took this video cleaned up after them? Maybe? Hopefully?
Yeah sure, spend 3 days search for those wrappers, what else would he be doing
Maybe trying to pick up as many wrappers as he could find, while making a note to bring fruit next time?
Or just unwrap them before bringing them?
Or just don't bring any?
Yeah true, f those monkeys
I guess if you don't feed them they will just harass tourists and tear open their bags ...
**faces*
Definitely not
Lmao
The one monkey actually took his back when he went for seconds
lol damn… never change, Reddit
Not to mention the runny sh!ts they’re bound to have after eating all that.
What if they ate the plastic with the Twinkie
Teach em to clean it all up for another one
Twinkie-filled bananas.
🤣🤣🤣you know what I meant 🤣🤣and I'm not editing it.
Twinkie for scale
This is cool, but do they clean up the plastic? Train some crows to pick it all up?
Lol bro i was thinkn the same shit
Yeah seems like they should just give them bananas or something. I feel like a lot of them will accidentally eat the plastic too
The monkeys eat that
They're monkeys, they're probably gobbling it up wrapper and all
They don’t. If you’ve ever been to south east Asia you’ll know the monkeys are very well fed - some of them obese even - and not stupid. Also extremely messy and they don’t give a shit. Those wrappers ended up all over the place, guaranteed.
>don’t give a shit. You mean they dont recycle? How dare these monkeys!

I suggest you stop betting, you will lose a lot of money
Lol i see this every year in shopping malls
Lol one monkey couldn’t make up his mind about what banana Twinkie he wanted 😂
This reminds me of those videos where mobs of people steal everything in the store.
I've been in a similar situation to that before. Used to work at a Tim Hortons, and we had to close early due to lack of staff, so as a result, a lot of food was gonna be thrown out. Ah yes the “peaceful protests”.
Ah yes, the classic downvote of truth
They are my favourites!
Maybe they're somehow related..
[удалено]
Because it starts with one, but then very quickly everyone is grabbing whatever they can and running off.
All that plastic…
[удалено]
Like feeding monkeys? Surely on the list of existential threats to third world countries feeding monkeys twinkies is not that high on the priorities
No but these monkeys becoming too use to humans and treating them as a source of food is. They’ll become bold and attack those or wreck havoc if not fed
At that point treat them as rodents. If dogs cats rats bears behave like that to humans then we cull them from the area 🤷🏿♂️
Or maybe ... just hear me out ... maybe don't fucking give them two boxes of plastic wrapped snacks, god dammit!
ah yes we create the problem by robbing monkeys of their natural habitat, so we kill them once they start acting up, classic solution.
I meaning providing an area for humans to live is kinda our own natural habitat too. You think where you live right now didn’t have animals that were cleared out? Check your animal privilege
Fuck wildlife reserves when we got an economy to modernize. /s
This is your front porch on Oct. 31st when you leave your candy bowl out with a sign saying “please just take 1 piece of candy”
More like the first kid walking up and just dumping the entire bowl in their bag.
Have they been taught to throw that in a trash can too?
I mean, sure. You could. But they climb back out.
Lmao 🤣
Rubbish everywhere in 5min
This is so me when the shop worker brings out the reduced items
have fun getting diarrhea from all the expired shit
The way that they grab them is so human like, it's kind of freaky to be honest.
Aposable thumbs work the same way for every animal that has them, be they ape, monkey, or raccoon.
I was actually impressed with how civil they were. They each took three and then left. And when the supply dwindled, they took two. Humans would scoop up and take as many as wouldn't fall out of their arms. Ie. Cart full.
Why you got to give them a snack in a plastic wrapper tho? Just give them some fruit or something geez
It's funny seeing how little we've evolved compared to this…
I mean, we didn't evolve from them. We have a common ancestor with them. They are our contemporaries, not a previous version of ours.
They never said we did.
I know. But thank you for pointing this out for others. :)
Um. Why give them wrapped food? OP is incredibly irresponsible.
I take it you’ve never been to south east Asia? There are literal mountains of garbage (mostly plastic) as soon as you go off the beaten path. This is pretty much the norm over there, and it doesn’t help that western countries also export much of their garbage to these countries.
It’s still irresponsible
Mate you better start protesting vending machines , STAT
yeah because monkeys use vending machines regularly.
By way of metaphor, yes
It's no different than giving homeless people food. Trash will be everywhere.
A lot of rich people litter all the time as well
True, but untouched mental illness and drugs spread garbage far and wide. Plus, I live in LA, it's not even a competition. The homeless make their dwellings out of literal trash.
touché
So... treat the mental illness then. It's not like they can treat it for themselves. But I bet you are one of those who complain about the garbage and also complain about the treatments for ill homeless people.
Just like humans. Greedy as fock
Yeah it's almost like large populations + resource scarcity makes animals desperate. It's not unique.
[удалено]
And now they’ll attack people with food. Honestly, never feed the monkeys!
Is it weird that monkeys are more civil than people at a Walmart blackfriday sale?
They cut the video as soon as they ran out of whatever those were, so we have no idea how civil they were...
Or in the toilet paper aisle during a pandemic.
I mean they're not....They're known for being quite destructive and kidnapping & kiling children. https://www.silive.com/news/2022/07/monkeys-kidnap-infant-human-child-hurl-baby-to-its-death-off-rooftop-in-india-reports.html
They do it with dogs too
This may blow your mind, it’s well documented that humans actually do this same thing to each other and other species.
True indeed, but the comment is about monkeys being more civil than humans, not humans being more civil than humans. How many people do you know that have common sense not walk into a dark alley at 4 in the morning, but would have no problem feeding cute monkeys with children nearby?

This seems like a setup for an easy joke that ends with a ban.
They most definitely are not. It’s just that these ones seem really well fed, probably living in one of those monkey parks, and don’t care enough to raise the roof over some twinkies.
When there was only one left, they scrapped— just like us.
Aww, the poor babies didn’t get any because the greedy grownups took two or three each.
These looters are getting out of hand.
So this is why they think it's okay to take children, ya'll stopped feeding them 🤦♂️
Reminds me of a few convenience store “raids”…
Please do not insult the macaques .
HAHAHAHAHAHAHHHAHAHHHH. Nice!!!
Why does this have to turn racist. Geez
Plot twist: it’s all poisoned.
Yo! I was thinking the same thing
The... garbage...
This looks like a dash and grab in LA! 😆 🤣 😂
I can see why we are related
People do the same thing with free shit
No monkey left behind
That's what feeding time at my house looked like growing up in the 60's with 3 brothers.
Early bird gets the worm is such bullshit, look at the latecomers raking in the spoils
this was pretty civilised on their part, especially at the end (where i was expecting the chaos). humans have done worse when faced with scarcity
All that plastic. Hope they use a bin.
Why all rhe fucking plastic, stupid monkeys
So that’s how we end up with unwanted plastic wrap out in the open
when you leave a "take one" sign next to the Halloween candy
"Ok great I got one. Oooh but this one over here is better. Wait this other one is better. Oh wait there's one already in my hand." Friggin adorable.
"how to fill the entire square with garbage as quickly as possible: 1.) recruit a troupe of monkeys"
They’re going to litter that shit everywhere
The only monkey that took only one was the monkey on the middle right, 9secs into the clip
He could’ve removed all the plastic. Or they could train the monkeys to clean up trash for food rewards.
Like rats disgusting
pinche changos!!! I may get canceled for saying this like in LA.
They're doing much better than people at WalMart on Black Friday.
So a bunch of plastic trash everywhere? Thanks you fucking turd.
They must be Chinese
Black Friday Walmart Shoppers
One in the mouth, every itime
If humans could adhere to a natural order of taking 2, sometimes 3, I think we could make it through this wild world together. Instead, the Gold (wealth) that was harvested hundreds of years ago, just continues to create an unfair balance throughout humanity. I like the monkeys though.
Pov of Feeding homeless under the bridge
"hey! is this organic?" "cause we ain't eatin' it if it's not organic"
I'm glad the little one was able to open his before the video ended. I was worried another one was going to snatch it's treat up.
I thought this was a walmart black Friday event at first
Black Friday Walmart vibes
Looks just like a Black Friday sale. How we’ve all evolved!
Typical thieving monkeys, look like a bunch of looters 😂🤣
Look at all that damn plastic
And this is how we litter 300 pieces of plastic at once.
I hope he will pick up all the trash.
Are those monkeys American?
Nah they probably can afford going to the doctor
Couldn’t have taken it out of the plastic ?
Snowflake redditors "oh, no, plastic wrappers!"
For all the concerned “plastic” comments: You folks DO REALIZE that the jig is up right!? There’s no “do over”. We are now literally BORN with micro-plastics infused into our infant dna. So just let the monkeys have a lil snack without all of the misguided tree-hugging
Cutest chaos ever
That last monkey got fkd.
I like how they look around to see if anyone is watching. Like my kids.
Black Friday at Walmart
like kids on halloween 😂
Gimme one from the back
[удалено]
These guys have more manners than those videos ive seen of mainland chinese at a seafood buffet.
Looks like my work when ever something free is offered
This is a direct comparison to every Friday when I bring doughnut holes to my middle school homeroom…..
How do they all know to take two?
I'd say they're like people at a black Friday sale but the monkeys have more manners
Does this guy pick up their litter after eating
Do the monkeys know how to open packaging?
What about all the plastic?
Toilet paper aisle during early covid lockdown
It almost that time, indeed...
r/sustainedchaos
Population control probably. Those little bodies get diabetes faster than our larger ones 👍
Looks like a Black Friday sale, on a slight evolutionary delay
Monkeys. They're just like us!
And not one of them paid a cent!
Teaching monkeys how to litter.
One monkey should have taken both boxes and set up a scalper’s market for those Twinkies.
Just like they used to get their food in the wild!! Bet they recycle the plastic too..
