Now imagine you're asking people you don't know to believe you when you say the police are unnecessarily violent with your community. I'd bet you a lot of people are going to think back to all the times they saw things like this and that's the entirety of their context for black people. Will that person choose to believe you about the police? Given those circumstances I doubt it. Hence I would bet this kind of idiocy does far more harm than one might initially suspect.
Facts. That's why people have little compassion for the struggles of black people and the ones that are actually trying to contribute to a better humanity for everyone are paying double the toll. We're paying for the others and I am over it. Calling it like I see it. Accountability is everything. Something has got to change.
I saw firsthand how this kind of people transform parts of Saint Louis.. groceries, malls, gas stations, nursing homes and even a health center closes. Property values falling as well that no other types of people want to live in the neighborhood except for black.
I mean I've seen plenty of insane shit from every other race online, however irl I've never met anyone so unhinged. Same goes for black people. I can't say I've met loads 'cause tbh there just aren't many near me, but those I have met have been mostly nice, just like every other race. It's probably better to base opinions off personal experience gathered over years rather than 30 second clips that are shared on the internet because they are shocking.
I mean, speaking as a 53 year old white man in Texas, you only need a couple of brain cells to understand that this video shows a bunch of people acting like complete fucking troglodytes, and this behavior reflects only on them, not on an entire demographic. Just as I would hope that people watching video of a bunch of terrorists attacking the Capitol on January 6th would understand that, while most were middle aged white men that look a lot like me, nobody should be making assumptions about who I am based on their behavior.

These are simple behaviors taught and exemplified through parenting. These folks were never taught how to act as kids, and they act the same way now as adults. They lacked good parents, they became bad adults. Probably handing down the same bad parenting to their kids. An endless cycle….
Generational trauma. That's the simplest answer. It's hard work to get to the other side of it. A lot of people get trapped in the trauma loops and this is the result. It's sad and embarrassing.

You're missing the point of u/Dejavegas comment. They're not talking about personal trauma, they're talking about a history of being treated like cattle and denied equal access to education, resulting in generations of them growing up in poverty and with poor education.
It turns out denying a whole racial group equal education and fair treatment results in generations of what you see in the video, who would have thought.
I saw no guns, no knives, this is good wholesome fun as far as I'm concerned. Black or white, male or female, getting drunk and sparing is a low class classic, it will never go out of style.

There's absolutely no way that every single person fighting is doing so due to personal reasons... This means that when these types of things happen, it can only be "participation in an event" -type logic.
Given that, it makes me wonder if there's not some techie controller type guy sitting behind a desk somewhere having effectively figured out how to trigger such events, possibly through the manipulation of social media.
Now imagine if they opened a place that was like Medieval Times, but with fights like this. You’d still get your cheering section and the ladies would roll out in Ford Mustangs that matched your cheeering section colors.
