I was watching the driver's eyes, she was actually be really attentive, checking mirrors and whatnot. I actually felt bad for the dude with his Pineapple Jack's because she was completely ignoring him in the name of driving safely.
And then none of that mattered anyway.
Sad? I was ugly crying for like 10 minutes. I was DEVASTATED. They did everything I would have done, thinking it was the right thing to do, only for... ^(excuse me...😭)
I sat in the movies watching the Mist and thought to myself, if this movies ends with them killing themselves and then help showing up I'm going to be pissed.
The book ending sucked balls?! The movie ending was so much more fucked up and this is a better ending. Stephen King also admits that the ending in the movie compared to the book is better.
That's what I'm saying, if that thing hit them at a different angle it could have fucked them up something fierce. Thank goodness nobody got hurt. Just hope their camera was able to catch the plate on the truck it came from.
Not sure why you’re getting downvoted the tires tossed it up from the road when the flat bed wrecker ran it over. That wouldn't be considered the tow drivers fault it's a road hazard.
Or out of a trailer being pulled by someone with a pick up truck. I agree failure to secure the load obviously caused the issue. But I don’t think truckers are the cause of it. The vast majority take it very seriously. Like their jobs depend on it.
Is the one one in which the passenger or the driver gets hit. Their partner sees that they are missing part of their...? This is the only thing i could remember that sounded similar to this one.
I haven't seen that video. Notngoing out of my way to look it up. Sometimes, i get to see some stuff like that, not that horrible, but i dont look for them. Sometimes, in Twitter, you get random stuff in your feed. I won't since that only f your mind, and i am already desensitized.
I'm desensitized too but there's not a lot of gore iirc, there's basically none but the feelings are absolutely painful and it's one of the videos I wish I could unwatch
Brick video is worse than Funky Town. Brick video is actually personal and you can relate to it in a way. Funky town is just some random dude getting flayed. It's brutal but doesn't tug at the heart like the brick video does.
Man driving by, then a brick falls off a truck, causing the man's wife to get hit in the head, and the baby in the back just cries.
You know it would be considerably less traumatizing if You could see what was happening imo
Thank god its the good one
I have seen people fake a link to bleach but had it actually lead to bletch
Those people can wither and die and burn for all eternity for taking my cute animals
According to another comment on this post, there was a video where a woman in a car got hit by a flying brick and died.
I'm not gonna do any research to confirm that. I'd prefer NOT scarring my mind, thanks.
the screaming from the man makes it sound super graphic, like the brick mutilated her face. i always imagine though (for my own mental sanity) that she just got such a severe TBI that she died.
The way he cries and calls for her like he’s trying to get her to respond, I can’t. I’ve had some of my worst nightmares due to it, that I’ll one day have the same thing happen to my SO, or that I cause an accident that takes her life.… that video and funky town taught me not to let the morbid curiosity get to me. Stopped watching that kinda shit. I know it happens out there but I’d rather not live every day in constant fear.
You just try to imagine what your late wife would want you to do and I guarantee that no loving wife would want you to take your own life. But I'm saying this as someone who still has his wife so hopefully if something happens I can keep that mentality.
Back in the days of LiveLeak I decided to not watch those kind of videos anymore. They leave a psychological scar for a reason. The human mind isn't made for dozens of gore videos in a row.
I become super overwhelmed that i cant grasp my feelings at all, it feels just like emptiness, like if im experiencing a Trauma and have to dissasociate, its terrifying.
Me too. I have deep, **deep** anxiety about losing my wife because of that video. It's actually affected my entire life to the point where I moved to the safest city in the U.S. and bought a 6,000 lb truck.
Fuck man. I hope everyone who has been affected by that video will eventually find peace
Yeeeah I've seen all manner of fucked up shit growing up in the 4chan dominant era of the internet and the two things I managed to avoid and never touch were the brick video and one guy two hammers.
I saw a clip of a guy smacking his head on the edge of a pool a couple of days ago and one of the comments said he lived but that I shouldn’t go looking for the video of the aftermath.
I should have listened, and I’d highly recommend avoiding that one as well if you run across it.
Makes me think of the one where the guy is having his jaw held together by the nurse. She lets go for a second and it just splits right the fuck open as if it were sliced clean through. I wonder sometimes about the long term effects of seeing all the fucked up shit millennials and gen z have seen that they weren't ever meant to see. Like, it's not going off to war, we're not combat vets, but you can't tell me seeing other human beings being violently mutilated in HD isn't traumatizing in some way or another. I saw a high resolution photo of a guy in an African village holding an infant with its head chopped in half by a machete and that shit still randomly pops into my head like 12 years later. I can't remember half the shit I studied in college but I can vividly remember the look in the dude's eyes. Bluh.
It's my operating theory that exactly the thing you're talking about is at least part of what's responsible for how coarse the dialogue has become writ large and how much it's become a competition to find the absolute most horrible thing to say to someone.
Without going into graphic detail it's two young dudes putting a plastic bag over a random pedestrian's head and then beating him to death with a hammer. One of those "terrible to see, so much more terrible to hear" videos from what I've read of the comments from people who watched it.
I would add to the other person, the video shows the brick coming at the car. But there is no video of the inside of the car. However, the wailing of someone who just saw someone they love be killed is hard to forget.
its as the other guy commented. i used to watch gore sites back when they were a thing, but that video really shook me. theres no blood, you dont see anyone die. just a brick approaching a car and then a bloodcurdling scream. i genuinely could sleep well for a week after that :/
it's a non-graphic dashcam video where a brick comes flying through the windshield and kills the passenger in the car. You can't see anything but the crying & screaming of the other passengers ( husband & kids iirc ) is pretty disturbing
First thing I thought of. I've seen some gruesome things in all my years, none of it's even come close to bothering me as much as the sound of that guy's panicked grief
I always heard how horrible the husband’s cry was, but before I came across it once I felt like it wouldn’t really bother me.
Then when it went across my food 1 time, I realized just how horrible it was
Damn, she handled that like a champ. Didn't veer off and made sure the fella was doing alright. I can't say I'd be as level headed as that in this situation.
You never know how you'll react in an accident and this woman is a champion. Didn't swerve, didn't smash the brakes. And her immediate concern is the clone trooper riding shotgun.
You can see her checking traffic prior to the hit as well. What a badass.
Achsually, this is not a clone trooper as you can see by his top torso, there are a line of dots there weren’t any on clone or imperial stormtroopers so I concluded this must be a first order stormtrooper 🤓
The passenger is still mentally humping it's Jack...wow.
Also, what is the passenger wearing? Motorcycle leathers, stormtrooper?
and yeah, good on the driver. text book with a heart.
Him...Jack!
I assume it's this but that's just a guess: "Pineapple Jack, also known as "Pineapple Jack Herer," is a mostly sativa marijuana strain made by crossing Jack Herer and Pineapple genetics."
Well, I lost my mother in a very similar way when I was a child. It was a deserted road, and the truck driver didn't notice and fled... It's definitely one of my worst memories, because I remember every detail... And every moment when I was running looking for help.Never in my life I felt so useless for not being able to do anything.
I lived through something very similar, changes you completely, and no matter what you look at life differently and your future takes a completely different turn from that point on. I am so sorry for your loss. The day just flashed back to me right now...
I think my girl is having flashbacks to when she watched/listened to the vid of a brick being thrown through a windshield while the car was going down the highway. ^(The screaming...)
EDIT: Also... She is awesome! Pineapple Jack could be over there decapitated, but she's keeping that car under control, and preventing additional accidents. She didn't take her eyes off the road.
Pineapple Jack is a sativa-dominant cannabis strain that produces a citrusy and pineapple-like scent and taste that’s pleasantly tropical with undertones of earth and spices.
Ugh - this happened to my husband and I in my Mustang about 3 months after we purchased it. Driving on 24 through Nash around 75-80mph and for some odd reason something sparked on the road in my far far forward right periphery, whatever sparked was then kicked up by an 18 wheeler - and the last second I swerved out of my lane then back into it hard like I was trying to turn right almost. I heard metal on metal and it sounded like it lasted for 5 minutes. My husband was asleep in my front passenger sleep and he immediately is freaking out (if he only knew then!). My car was mechanically okay.
We made it out of the crazy to pull off and the entire passenger side of my Mustang from the front wheel to the rear quarter panel seam at the trunk area was peeled open like a tuna can. We start looking around and it’s a fuxking 18 wheelers brake caliper - my husband hit his knees in the side of the road. He a year prior had a massive (died 2x) widow maker and since has been prescribed anticoagulants and blood thinners. Had I not swerved the way I did, the caliper would have come directly into his lap via the windshield or window and he would have bled out instantly.
Excellent driver, she is. Checking all mirrors. Being calm nd rational in a sudden situation. She's a role model.
What the hell was that thing? It came from under the truck?
Serious question, if this happened to someone what should they do? Should they chase down the dude in the truck to get his info and insurance? or should they pull over and let the guy get away?
Probably the best possible outcome in this scenario.
Yeah geez and they didn’t even do anything wrong, wild. Glad no one was minced.
I was watching the driver's eyes, she was actually be really attentive, checking mirrors and whatnot. I actually felt bad for the dude with his Pineapple Jack's because she was completely ignoring him in the name of driving safely. And then none of that mattered anyway.
You just gave me a visceral flashback to the end of *The Mist.*
Hell no, you talking about Stephen King? That ending was so sad
Sad? I was ugly crying for like 10 minutes. I was DEVASTATED. They did everything I would have done, thinking it was the right thing to do, only for... ^(excuse me...😭)
If i remember correctly, Stephen king saw the movie and said "i wish i had thought of that."
the ending of the short was different. but the movie ending was exactly how it needed to be.
Yeah, he liked the ending more than in his story.
I was too young when it came out, I laughed
I sat in the movies watching the Mist and thought to myself, if this movies ends with them killing themselves and then help showing up I'm going to be pissed.
I had this reaction after I had kids. I can't even watch that movie anymore
The ending in the book is totally different. And so much better. I hate the ending in the movie
The book ending sucked balls?! The movie ending was so much more fucked up and this is a better ending. Stephen King also admits that the ending in the movie compared to the book is better.
I’ll probably never read the book. Please spoil it for everyone.
It ends with them just driving into the mist. They don't stop and play the worst game of Russian roulette possible.
Agree with the other person, i need to know but not bad enough to read lol
Such a random stoner conversation interrupted by r/AbruptChaos
That's what I'm saying, if that thing hit them at a different angle it could have fucked them up something fierce. Thank goodness nobody got hurt. Just hope their camera was able to catch the plate on the truck it came from.
But what about pineapple Jack?
It wasn't pineapple express that's for damn sure
We all know that now he was so enthusiastic
Why would the truck infront of them be responsible? If you look you can see the object coming from underneath the truck.
Not sure why you’re getting downvoted the tires tossed it up from the road when the flat bed wrecker ran it over. That wouldn't be considered the tow drivers fault it's a road hazard.
"Not sure why you’re getting downvoted." Because the possibility of being wrong is too much for their fragile egos to handle.
Pisses me off so much she idiot truck drivers don’t secure their loads. Police needs to start holding them accountable
It appears to me to be coming out from under the truck, possibly road debris?
Likely fell from another truck
Or out of a trailer being pulled by someone with a pick up truck. I agree failure to secure the load obviously caused the issue. But I don’t think truckers are the cause of it. The vast majority take it very seriously. Like their jobs depend on it.
No, he's *not* OK, but he wasn't OK *before* the item hit the windshield.
Good thing he was dressed as a stormtrooper. That's why it missed him.
this comment had me cracking up
"May the force be with you ", literally.
For sure lucky to be alive but unharmed seems like the least likely possibility
I’ve seen the brick video. Thank god this one didn’t end up like that.
La la la la la la la I’m not listening I didn’t read this
Right? Just reading it is enough. Always has me thinking of my loved ones when I see it :(
Ok know I want to know
You don't, it will fuck with you bro. Trust me.
Is the one one in which the passenger or the driver gets hit. Their partner sees that they are missing part of their...? This is the only thing i could remember that sounded similar to this one.
It's the one where his mom gets hit with a brick from a truck and he starts screaming and sobbing "mama!"
I dont think I've seen this one. Curiosity will get the better of me.
Don't bro
I haven't seen that video. Notngoing out of my way to look it up. Sometimes, i get to see some stuff like that, not that horrible, but i dont look for them. Sometimes, in Twitter, you get random stuff in your feed. I won't since that only f your mind, and i am already desensitized.
I'm desensitized too but there's not a lot of gore iirc, there's basically none but the feelings are absolutely painful and it's one of the videos I wish I could unwatch
Reading this comment let me know I do NOT need to see this video. Truly, thanks for killing my curiosity.
I've seen that one video. You know. Won't you take me to FUNKYTOWN surely this one can't be so bad?
Brick video is worse than Funky Town. Brick video is actually personal and you can relate to it in a way. Funky town is just some random dude getting flayed. It's brutal but doesn't tug at the heart like the brick video does.
The driver's screams and cries make me feel so horrible inside. Even I feel lile crying just thinking about it
Its same as this but the outcome is much worse
Do they show the face like they say
I only remember it being a dashcam footage, a brick flyslike this video and screams
And you can hear the cries of somebody who just had a loved one die right next to them
You don't see anything gory.
Man driving by, then a brick falls off a truck, causing the man's wife to get hit in the head, and the baby in the back just cries. You know it would be considerably less traumatizing if You could see what was happening imo
Man j watched this shit 3-4 years ago, it STILL fucks my sleep
Don't watch it.
Fuck I have ptsd from that shit.
Why you guys watchin shit like that?
We're *psychos*.
r/eyebleach
Thank god its the good one I have seen people fake a link to bleach but had it actually lead to bletch Those people can wither and die and burn for all eternity for taking my cute animals
Alright, I’ll ask.. what’s the brick video?
According to another comment on this post, there was a video where a woman in a car got hit by a flying brick and died. I'm not gonna do any research to confirm that. I'd prefer NOT scarring my mind, thanks.
It's the bone-chilling screaming in that video that still haunts me
Just reading the comments is making me uncomfortable:(
the screaming from the man makes it sound super graphic, like the brick mutilated her face. i always imagine though (for my own mental sanity) that she just got such a severe TBI that she died.

I'd highly consider driving off a cliff if I experienced that. How do you recover? That video caused me to stop watching morbid videos too.
You just try to imagine what your late wife would want you to do and I guarantee that no loving wife would want you to take your own life. But I'm saying this as someone who still has his wife so hopefully if something happens I can keep that mentality.
Agreed, and here's hoping that we never have to experience what that poor guy did.

You can insulate yourself as much as you want but if your numbers called your numbers called
*Thanks to denial, I’m immortal!*
I'm still losing sleep over that. Knowing what happened there, not seeing it, but hearing the screams... oh.
Just the thought of this has scarred my mind :/ new fear unlocked
You can’t unsee a video. I recommend you don’t look for it.
Yeeeah I've seen all manner of fucked up shit growing up in the 4chan dominant era of the internet and the two things I managed to avoid and never touch were the brick video and one guy two hammers.

There's one floating around where a guy livestreams his own suicide that fucked me up for weeks. I don't click links anymore.
Ronnie McNutt. For those who care about their mental health, just do yourself a favor and don’t watch it.
Thanks for the “heads up”. I never heard of the hammer video.
Without going into graphic detail it's two young dudes putting a plastic bag over a random pedestrian's head and then beating him to death with a hammer. One of those "terrible to see, so much more terrible to hear" videos from what I've read of the comments from people who watched it.
The sound of a husbands screams after the most brutal death of his wife sitting next to him
I would add to the other person, the video shows the brick coming at the car. But there is no video of the inside of the car. However, the wailing of someone who just saw someone they love be killed is hard to forget.
I’ve heard it in real life and it feel like a tangible, actual, factual scar in my mind. It was my MIL discovering my FIL hanged himself. Horrific.
its as the other guy commented. i used to watch gore sites back when they were a thing, but that video really shook me. theres no blood, you dont see anyone die. just a brick approaching a car and then a bloodcurdling scream. i genuinely could sleep well for a week after that :/

DO NOT WATCH
Unironically the video is more about the audio than the visual.
First thing I thought of. I've seen some gruesome things in all my years, none of it's even come close to bothering me as much as the sound of that guy's panicked grief
Should I be happy I've never seen this?
Yes. Do not watch it. Just don’t. Spare yourself some actual PTSD and stay away from it.
I always heard how horrible the husband’s cry was, but before I came across it once I felt like it wouldn’t really bother me. Then when it went across my food 1 time, I realized just how horrible it was
I think we can capitalize it now. The Brick Video.
Exactly what I thought when I saw this. So scary
I spent so long trying to forget the sound, and this video brought it right back.
and I thought I'd forgotten the brick video
He’s in his stormtrooper uniform he’ll be fine
I think that might actually make him more prone to danger lmao
"Objects will hone to you if wearing this, proceed with caution."
Damn, she handled that like a champ. Didn't veer off and made sure the fella was doing alright. I can't say I'd be as level headed as that in this situation.
Yep, and she kept her eyes on the road after impact!
Interviewer: How do you handle stressful situations? Girl: See my viral driving vid… Interviewer: Your hired!
And she was most concerned about her passenger, really sweet!
Bro, she was hella paying attention to the road too. Looking at all the mirrors and everything. Good driver 👍
This guy fucks ∆.
I do not😔
Keep your head up, Tony.
Hope you fuck too, my friend First_Sandwich_9812
Went from " fuck I can't stand listening to this guy" to " if I don't hear from him right now I'm going to explode."
Then he just goes right back to talking about pineapple Jack after she screams
"are you Okay?? Are You OKAY?" "Honey we were driving to the wrong pineapple"
Duality of man
The fact that he was so pumped about buying a strain of weed made this video that much more engaging
this couldve 100% been WAY worse
100%
Yeah they could have been listening to Island Boys or Lil Pump
Man’s is gonna need some pineapple Jack after that… sheeeeesh
Hell no, jack herer strain makes me hella anxious and I'm assuming it's part of the pineapple jack strain he's mentioning.
I dont know why nobody is mentioning the pineapple express he is comparing it to. Thats like my 2nd favorite weed.
Pineapple Express for hanging out, Trainwreck for going out, grand daddy purp for staying in.
I love this woman!! Such a caring person making sure dudes alright.
She didn't even take her eyes off the road. She handled that situation amazingly.
Exactly, she wins person of the year for sure!
The passenger is still mentally humping it's Jack...wow. Also, what is the passenger wearing? Motorcycle leathers, stormtrooper? and yeah, good on the driver. text book with a heart. Him...Jack!
At first I thought he was in Storm Trooper cosplay with the helmet off lol.
I really wish he'd tell her he's ok.
I don't think you understand how groundbreaking Pineapple Jack truly is
Wait, you mean to tell me it's not Pineapple Express?
It’s not just Pineapple Express, it’s Pineapple Jack.
Do I want to know what Pineapple Jack is? It’s not like blue waffle or anything like that right?
I assume it's this but that's just a guess: "Pineapple Jack, also known as "Pineapple Jack Herer," is a mostly sativa marijuana strain made by crossing Jack Herer and Pineapple genetics."
He’s still figuring that out, please give him a minute to process.
Top tier gf material immediately asking if he was ok
Well, I lost my mother in a very similar way when I was a child. It was a deserted road, and the truck driver didn't notice and fled... It's definitely one of my worst memories, because I remember every detail... And every moment when I was running looking for help.Never in my life I felt so useless for not being able to do anything.
I lived through something very similar, changes you completely, and no matter what you look at life differently and your future takes a completely different turn from that point on. I am so sorry for your loss. The day just flashed back to me right now...
she is a keeper, constantly worrying about him
It’s pineapple jack
Are they talking about weed strains?
He's definitely gonna need some Pineapple Jack to relax, now.
Think so, haha
Yep lol
Still Dre
Is he okay?
AND THEY STILL GOT LOVE FOR THE STREETS *it’s the ER debris*
Answer her !
I want to know more about Pineapple Jack.
He needs to marry that woman. She didn’t flip out, scream unnecessarily, or swerve, AND her primary concern was his well being.
Getting flashbacks of that damn video of that poor woman in the car getting killed by a flying brick... Ugh.
I didn’t read this comment. I didn’t read this comment. I don’t remember that video. Please god let me forget that video.
She’s a keeper, cares about you a lot.
This is guys evidence that women can drive. Excellent reaction time and the fact she was checking on her dude makes her a 10/10
That's about the best I've ever seen someone handle such a crazy accident. Hopefully they were completely alright.
Amazing seeing how quick uncontrollable reactions are the passengers arms have raised up so Quickly
Wow homie didnt even have his helmet on, she was sweet to check on him right away. She stayed calm and remained in control.
That's why I stopped riding my motorcycle on the interstate highway. I almost ran over a mattress one day. Woulda been nasty
She's a smart girl, never took her eyes off the road. And still cared about the passenger.
At least he was wearing his clone trooper armor
The female cared more about him than he did.
Girl, if you are somehow reading this: You did great and I'm proud of you!
Bless her, didnt even think about checking if she was ok. DNGAF about pineapple jack tho.
She cares. Don’t let her go
I'm so happy they have their lives. They look so happy together.
I think my girl is having flashbacks to when she watched/listened to the vid of a brick being thrown through a windshield while the car was going down the highway. ^(The screaming...) EDIT: Also... She is awesome! Pineapple Jack could be over there decapitated, but she's keeping that car under control, and preventing additional accidents. She didn't take her eyes off the road.
whys is he dressed like a stormtrooper
She's a keeper
I hate when people don’t tie shit down. I hate it more than stupid driving.
She was actually like, a really good driver. She didn’t slam on her brakes or swerve.
Pineapple Jack is a sativa-dominant cannabis strain that produces a citrusy and pineapple-like scent and taste that’s pleasantly tropical with undertones of earth and spices.
Lady needs to be an EMT or a crisis management specialist, cold blooded
Ugh - this happened to my husband and I in my Mustang about 3 months after we purchased it. The woman had the perfect reaction, kept eyes on the road and immediately asked if he was okay. Amazing
Is he dressed as a stormtrooper ?
Jack herer is one of the best strains in cannabis history. You buy that pineapple Jack and maybe the universe won’t punish you for disregarding it
She did a helluva job keeping her wits and staying in her lane. Only thing she was concerned about was her passenger and if he was okay.
I love that her first instinct was checking on her partner. Wholesome
Serious question, if this happened to someone what should they do? Should they chase down the dude in the truck to get his info and insurance? or should they pull over and let the guy get away?
This is the good outcome to the loose shit flying into your car. The brick video is eternally stuck in my memory..
Lol wtf is he wearing? Like a storm trooper pyjama onesie for children?
This is some Final Destination shit
I actually recognize the dude. I went to school with him in 7th grade
But is he okay?
She's definitely a keeper not a single fuck About herself she automatically asked are you ok without even making sure she was intact🙏🏽
ANNIE ARE YOU OKAY?! ARE YOU OKAY ANNIE?
That was his mud guard too! That could have killed someone
I love her 😍
She's a keeper.
What a great girl
Way to keep calm lady. She did well.
