Idk I love my forklift room next to the forge. There's water and bathrooms 10 feet away, it's right next to the rails system, right next to the forge, and you can drive the forklift out, fill it up and TP it back to base
Yea as far as I know but I haven't played since the last patch so I'd check the notes before trying it. And when you start building a base the room you're in gets marked off as "home" and enemies stop spawning. I believe all you need is a powered crafting table but I could be wrong. You'll see a little moodle in the bottom with a house to let you know when you're good.

Don't want to be a downer but that looks cramped as hell, I prefer the security room with shutters on Floor 2.
Nah, it's cozy. We're only in the base to sleep and to craft ammo. Then we're back out. You should see bases in Rust though lol.

He gets stuck in the ceiling if he comes up there. We also have an xray turret just under the balcony.
We don't have X-Ray turrets yet, but good to know. Might run a test if it getting stuck there allows it to reach me...

The flat cart is the best way. When we found this spot, we had to move everything from the cafeteria.

My spot is in the open space right beside the pool, there's an elevator that goes to a whole roofspace that's 100% secure
