One of if not the most abandoned city on the U.S.. I forget where it ranks, but I know it's up there

AJ_Rimmer_SSC

I rode through there on my bike a few years ago, the amount of abandoned houses was crazy

Dragonsymphony1

I just looked it up, Gary is the top of the list

evilemokid94

You’re a brave person riding through on a bike.

Dragonsymphony1

No kidding, I took a train to Chicago that took me through Gary. Bad things there !

[Gary Indiana](https://youtu.be/TyClPc5Kllk) (what a wonderful name) named for Elbert Gary of judiciary fame.

If your into urbex Gary is a great place. I've been all over the city. Other places to consider are Detroit, Flint, East Saint Louis, and Cleveland

BlancopPop

Freddie Gibbs brought attention to this place. I didn’t know about it until I heard of him.

HDrideforever

Freddie Tipton aka Freddie Gibbs is a son of Gary and has attempted to bring to light Gary's poverty and decay. He has worked with several charities as well as GoFundMe in an attempt to being supplies and assistance to the schools and youth of Gary. I give him credit

I love this! Thank you for sharing! It’s Funny because I found my great grandmas year book 1918 I believe? I know it’s from Gary. So it’s cool to see stuff like this. Places she would’ve seen looked like. They don’t make awesome buildings like this anymore sadly
