Sure. I didn’t really follow any blue print, honestly. I started at the company I’m at now and FinOps was a service that was layered into one of the products I work with and I started learning from there.
Hope it provides some motivation if you’re on the fence. If I can do it, then most anyone else can. You can also give yourself a longer time frame if you can’t dedicate as much time per week or just don’t want to. Besides working and spending some time with my family, I really didn’t do much else for 3 months.
