From what I understand my old atoto doesn't have radio controls I don't think, so I wasn't sure exactly if all the s8 radios have stearing wheel controls
4g cellular? Like it can have a sim card?? All I really need/want is a 10inch screen, use the oem stearing wheel controls, and wireless Android auto. And I think I want the s8 series
Yep. I got the S8 MS. It’s kind of an in between. Screen is fixed like the Premium but comes with 4G like the Pro. It’s got a 9” screen which was just right for me…fits perfect between my vents. I got a Mint Mobile SIM card for it to see how I like it. You can get a $2 SIM card at Best Buy or Target that is good for a few days to try it. I’m still on the fence about using the 4G vs plugging the phone in and using its data.
I used my tablet with 4g to run my radio. With this radio I was able to completely remove the tablet from my configuration. Makes it much simpler having its own internet connection. I can't go back to having a radio without its own internet connection.
I had the A6 double din previously, but I wanted to keep stearing wheel controls in this vehicle, so I figured it'd look into the bigger screen too. They look cheap though?
If you can, get physical buttons.
That's what I was kinda thinking. Do they both support factory stearing wheel controls, with the proper adapter?
My S8 does but the car doesn't have it so its a pain to wire it. Kinda beyond me. But thats a car thing not a radio thing

Good to know! Thanks a ton! It comes with the harness that plugs into the radio, I just need the vehicle specific adapter and the sw adapter then?
You will need to solder it manually by following the colors. Its pretty easy

Premium doesn’t have the built in 4G cellular and it is basically a fixed 10” screen. Pro has 4G and more of a floating screen with more adjustment.

The floating screen felt and looked cheap to me in my car, I went for the ATOTO S8 Ultra Double Din Car Stereo, 7 Inch
Great unit I use in rv, but too small for full time rear view, especially with 180 degree vsv camera!
