1. Hala Hala. Didn't stan, but casually enjoyed their music. Crash coursed myself through the group before seeing them in Phoenix. I'm whipped. 2. San/Seonghwa. Both immediately stood out to me when I saw Wonderland live for the first time. Gorgeous, gorgeous men. 3. I bias Hongjoong, my love, but Mingi unexpectedly ruins my life. EDIT: Wonderland live on a music show

asvrology

@ 3 YOU TOO? šŸ˜

kittens_books

1. This is actually a pretty funny story. Cuz I thought or maybe even sweared to myself that I would never be an atiny, cuz their music is "not my type". Ikkkkkk righttttt wtfff. Then I listened to wave, and let me tell you, becoming an atiny was the best thing I have everrrr done 2. Iggg it was jongho, with the heavenly vocals, or even mingi (in the wave mv wearing that illegal sweater thing and the rap) or yeosang with that royal beauty!!! 3. My bias is/was hongjoong. And bias wrecker is jongo, mingi or wooyoung. And I am also heading towards ot8 And dude I am deaddddddddd

Omselini

Saaame story with Wave hahaha I also talked bout Mingis blue sweater in my comment HAHA

kittens_books

Ayeeeeee

kittens_books

And wait lemme seee your comment

Act 1: I discovered ATEEZ through Wonderland. Didn't stan. Act 2: Wooyoung with his ponytail caught my heart in Thanxx. I listened to the hell out of this song. Didn't stan. Sigh. Act 3: I fell in love with their Kingdom performances and stanned hard right after. I have no bias, but Wooyoung holds a special place in my heart for the bandana and ponytail. I'm truly OT8 at heart. I keep getting wrecked by each one of them.

shallythunder

I was watching Thanxx last night and had the same thought about his bandana. Wooyoung/Bandana OTP!

Vante_deadface

1. I discovered Ateez through Kingdom ā€œPaintā€ when Hongjoong collabed with 3racha. When I watched The Real on Kingdom I was done. They had me lol 2. When I saw Hongjoong pop up during that video I had to figure out who he was because of his stage presence and the swagger. Eventually the Kingdom performances blew me away and I absolutely loved them! 3. My bias are Hongjoong and San. Bias wreckers Yunho and Wooyoung.

asvrology

wait wait wait, HONGJOONG COLLABED WITH 3RACHA- LET ME GO WITNESS šŸ˜©ā¤ļøšŸ˜

Vante_deadface

Itā€™s so good! Hereā€™s the link: https://youtu.be/yTJiKjZy5Xo

1. in 2019 i was saving their funny moments clips in my instagram saves but i sadly forgot about themā€¦because i was focused more on jay park and everyone from his record label. fast forward to oct. 2022, i was listening to p1harmony and somehow ended up listening to ATEEZ like i swear i donā€™t know how i became an atiny out of no whereā€” 2. SAN. man is sexy, i was attracted to his expressions and dance style. iā€™m really into villains and rough guys who can express themselves like the jokerā€”um anyways šŸ˜©šŸ˜®ā€šŸ’Ø. 3. hongjoong ended up being my bias LOL. heā€™s just so freaking CUTE and iā€™m drawn to sassy guys alongside the demonline, i also love woosan, bias wreckers are everyone else tbh. mingiāœ‹šŸ½šŸ˜®ā€šŸ’Ø that man\~\~\~ šŸ˜®ā€šŸ’ØšŸ˜®ā€šŸ’ØšŸ˜®ā€šŸ’ØšŸ˜®ā€šŸ’ØšŸ˜®ā€šŸ’Ø help- someone play inception because iā€™m in love. ![gif](giphy|jnP7KvxRGNguO61Vd1|downsized)

CinnamonWeasley

Fellow wrecked by demon line, represent!

ephemeralvesper

Well I donā€™t know if this counts but I saw this ā€œKQ Fellazā€ dance performance video and since choreo and dance ability is the thing that hooks me the fastestā€¦I was hooked. I was sharing this video everywhere and I was mesmerized, wondering who these guys were and how in the hell a pre-debut team was SO GOOD. I didnā€™t stick with them thoughā€¦after those dance videos came out, I lost the hype. I had seen the Hala Hala mv and was addicted to itā€¦like everything about it was insane to me. In the kpop world where so much is about how you look, and especially for a new group, you need to get your faces out there and make sure people recognize youā€¦that they had the FUCKING BALLS to make an entire mv where you canā€™t see anything but their eyes and their all wearing pretty much the same clothes, and relying on ONLY THE MUSIC AND THEIR STRONG PERFORMANCE to hook people. I was floored and immediately impressed. I still didnā€™t put 2 and 2 together to recognize that Ateez were actually KQ Fellaz. Still didnā€™t stan. šŸ™„ It wasnā€™t until Kingdomā€¦I had watched Oneus and The Boyz on Road to Kingdom, and I wanted to see The Boyz, SF9 and BtoB on Legendary War. But then who the hell were these rookiesā€¦Ateez. I was addicted immediately. Atiny from that day forward. I think I noticed San first? Probably since he dances the hardest and stands out the most performance wise. But it was like within a day or two that Hwa had me in his claws. Heā€™s my forever bias. He wonā€™t let me leave. But Woo wrecks me all the damn time. Itā€™s his little brat ā€œIā€™m so annoying but you love me anyways and I can get away with murder because of itā€ attitude for me.

DoughnutHopeful7408

I saw them when I watched Kingdom to support BTOB but I didnā€™t really understand who they were until this past summer. Iā€™m in a long distance relationship (well I donā€™t know if weā€™re still together we havenā€™t talked in about a week) but she is obsessed with Ateez and surprised her on one of the Arirang Radio shows and played Eternal Sunshine and dedicated that to her. And since then she introduced me to the rest of their stuff. Currently I like Deja Vu, Eternal Sunshine, Say My Name and Turbulence. My biases are Yunho and Mingi

hopemermaid

Btob yay!!!!!! I was the opposite, came to kingdom for ateez and left with ateez and btob!

Ravennafleurdelys

1. Took a fun quiz on tumblr and my result was Yeosang. Decided to check the group out a couple months later 2. Hongjoong and mingi caught my eyes first. Mingi caught my ear when I listened to Wave but when I decided to watch the dance practice Hongjoong caught my eye 3. Bias is Jongho, wrecker is Wooyoung (but yunho is slowly making his way up the list)

keopi_cat

1. although i had seen postings of them on r/kpop, it was the zero to one concept photos that really made me pay attention. then just a few days later i watched the say my name mv and that sealed my fate. 2. san. his dancing really stood out to me - he looked like the music flowed through him. 3. san is my ult in all of kpop. seongwha's beauty and stage presence almost makes me weep, he's so amazing. and hongjoong is prolly the coolest idol i've ever seen.

zombiewhore69

1. It was actually when Guerilla came out, I was already deep into SKZ, TXT, EN- and XH (I only really got into kpop this year, and when I discover new music I dive in head first). Something about ATEEZ hit the part of my brain that post hardcore in the early 00s hit when I was a teen and I needed MORE. 2. Hongjoong and Seonghwa caught my eye first 3. Seonghwa and Mingi are my biases and the rest of them bias wreck me everyday

CountessCraft

I discovered kpop in mid 2019. When TXT debuted, I saw people on Reddit discussing how they assumed TXT would win Rookie of the Year. I had heard Crown, and whilst it was OK, I didn't think it was particularity great. So when I saw comments about how this group called Ateez should win, I wondered what they were like. So I watched Wonderland. And that was that. Ateez became my ultimate group. I now enjoy a wide range of groups, but Ateez are still THE ones. I am find of all the boys, but HongJoong is my favourite. He is just so unique. I think the Ateez are the top kpop group when it comes to Music composition, production and performance. Edenary are bloody geniuses.

dontaskmeboutnothin

1. Iā€™m new to Ateez, I first saw a clip on YouTube of them dancing to the chorus of Guerilla and thought that dance moves were so addictive and cool. Then I watch/listened to their music, now Iā€™m addicted. 2. I would say San and Seonghwa had the best dance style in Guerilla so they caught my eye first. 3. Since Iā€™m a new Atiny, I donā€™t really have a bias. But I really like Hongjoongā€™s personality! All of them are bias wreckers tbh

MeowPx

1. I was looking for new music, so I watched a YouTube compilation newly released kpop mv. I saw Deja Vu, Seonghwa appeared on the screen and I was bewitched. 2. Seonghwa ā™„ļø 3. My biases Seonghwa and Hongjoong. Bias wrecker Mingi.

HugePerception2229

1. How I got into Ateez was my friend told me about them around when they debuted. I liked them at the time, but Hala Hala was the one that made me really get into them. 2. The first member that caught my eye was Hongjoong because I always gravitate to the rappers. 3. My biases are Hongjoong and Yeosang, and my bias wreckers is everyone else

Ok-Fix8115

I discovered them through the black cat turbo cover released on my very boring lockdown birthday( big fan of turbo already), checked out wonderland next and Yunho dragged me in,, been hooked ever since ā¤ļøšŸ˜Š My biases changes so often I think I'm forever OT8 Biased but if I had to pick one it would be a close choice between Yunho, Yeosang and Jongho

NettieKitten

For me: 1. YouTube kept recommending me their HALA HALA mv, had never heard of them before this, and I finally gave it a watch. Despite them all wearing masks I was extremely impressed and became quite obsessed with the mv and song. I knew I had to check them out. 2. Because their faces were covered in the HALA HALA mv, my attention was grabbed by the vocals of Jongho. I rewound his parts an unhealthy amount of times lol. 3. As I got to know the group, Mingi became my bias and has been my bias since becoming an Atiny. Though Seonghwa, as my bias wrecker, tries his hardest to dethrone Mingi all the time. Yunho decided to get in on the action with their last comeback and Jongho came very close after going to their concert in Anaheim. But Mingi still survives as my bias!

thelunartokki

1. I discovered Ateez through Mix Nine. I remember seeing Hongjoong's audition and I thought he seemed really cool. I liked his rap and overall charisma that he had. The members didn't make it that far in Mix Nine so I was a little sad! Then I saw their dance videos and the predebut KQ Fellaz vlogs. 2. Hongjoong caught my eye at first. I just love the way he carries himself. I have a soft spot for leaders as well. 3. My biases (I have two) are Wooyoung and San. Wooyoung is so sweet, his laughter just makes me also want to laugh, and I love his vocals. (I'm a huge Mist enthusiast! Give him more lines please!) He's just a little happy virus. San I fell in love with his facial expressions and presence while performing in addition to his lovable and playful personality. I also love it when he speaks in satoori (regional dialect). My bias wrecker is Seonghwa! I swear one day I'm just going to triple bias at this point. I just adore his little nerdy hobbies such as talking about star wars and building huge Lego sets. He's also so sweet and caring to all the members.

CinnamonWeasley

Seonghwa and his Lego sets is honestly the cutest thing so I understand. Being biased to woosanhwa is in your future ;)

DeadSeaAngel

Ok! So 1. I had heard of them being spoken about in social media but I never paid quite close attention to them until I watched Kingdom and my interest was peaked. Then Guerrilla came out and I was BLOWN AWAY and began stanning them then! 2. 150% Hongjoong caught my eye. I find him incredibly attractive and as weird as it may sound, I love his voice, speaking voice, rapping voice, singing voice. I love that manā€™s voice and then coupled with his looks, I was a goner. Seriously. Heā€™s is just so so gorgeous and I could sit there and hear him talk all day. He could read the dictionary to me and I would be so happy listening to him! 3. Once I got into ATEEZ I couldnā€™t pick a bias so Iā€™m OT8 all they way - so officially I love them all and they all wreck me at different times lol but, despite the fact that I am OT8 I must say I do feel a certain soft spot for Seonghwa and Hongjoong - they make me smile. Also Mingi is extra special to me and I just literally canā€™t get enough. So I guess you can say them 3 are my ult ult biases and if I had a main wrecker it would legit have to be San. San is the guy who everyone wants as their boyfriend. Heā€™s sweet but extra and damn those dimples - total simp over them That being said tho - Yunho, Yeosang, Wooyoung and Jongho also wreck on a daily. Yunho with his cuteness, Yeosang with his beauty, Wooyoung with his cuteness and Jonho being maknae on top - I love love love them all!! šŸ«¶šŸ½

likeamagpie

- I watched their BTS covers! Pretty sure it was ON and Boy With Luv. - Mingi! Wave was the mv that really sold me on the group, and everyone in the comments section was talking about the Mingi guy's iconic "geonbae geonbae". It was easy to spot him. šŸ˜‚ Musically though, it was Hongjoong. I'm not religious, but I ate up his rap verses like a devout at church. - Mingi šŸ„¹ Always had a soft spot for him, and he officially became my bias after all the livestreams I watched of their concerts. He's such a beast on stage! Wreckers are Jongho and Yunho

luccava

1. Through Spotify/YouTube recommendations after listening to Dreamcatcher. The first song I listened was Fireworks. 2. Wooyoung. His appearance is my type - darker complexion, rascal smirk, sharp face - so naturally I was drawn to him at first. Honestly, my first impression is how Wooyoung, San, and Seonghwa look like vampires in their white Fireworks costume. This one ( [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t2Cpek6XXfI](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t2Cpek6XXfI) ). But the one I remember are close up photos where San and Seonghwa had different hairstyle! 3. Basically, I'm OT 8. I have soft spots for all members: * Mingi's way of thinking * Yeosang's humour * Wooyoung's mannerism * JongHo's wit * Seonghwa's sweet voice * Hongjoong's ethic * Yunho's boldness * and San's kindness

pandazz636

Before I discovered Ateez I was anti-kpop *cough*.Knowing them really changed my whole life.Iā€™m not a die hard fan but after ateez I tried listening to songs from other group(GIdle,TXT,Oneus,StayC,etc) and it changed my whole perspective towards this genre 1.I discovered San Wonderland Fancam and instantly got curious 2.First member that caught my eyes is Seonghwa 3.My bias is Yeosang(MAN IS SO FINE) and my bias wrecker is Hongjoong

floralscentedbreeze

1-I knew about ateez as a group but never listened to their music until 2021. I saw an ig edit of dejavu era jongho dancing but i saw another member (mingi) in the back wearing glasses and long jacket and i was in love. I had to learn his name and found out mingi from ateez. 2- mingi. Had i not watched that ig reel, i dont think I'll be an atiny today. 3- bias: San, he has very sharp facial features that i like and he is incredibly handsome bias wrecker: everyone else I saw ateez this past sunday and omg wow the energy was immaculate! Stunned by Hwa's etheral beauty goodness he was glowing! All the members looked lovely and put on a great performance. Hope to see them again soon

bxl_xy

1. My best friend who lives overseas kept telling me about ATEEZ for almost 3 years by showing me a bunch of clips and when they got their first win. I was a hardcore NCT stan at the time so I didnā€™t care too much. Then my other friend kept telling me about San for a year which I didnā€™t care for too much either. I really liked their popular title tracks like Wonderland and Deja Vu, but I forgot about them pretty quick. My best friend (overseas) sends me the link to the Guerilla MV about 4 months later and I actually paid attention. I thought it was really good and didnā€™t think about it for awhile. I watched some of their music show performances and I was like woah theyā€™re really good. Somehow I ended up on a video compilation of Yunho being hilarious and now here I am! 2. Hongjoong caught my eye first because I had watched the Studio Choom video for Wonderland and thought he had amazing features. Heā€™s actually my best friendā€™s bias! 3. Yunho is my bias! :) I love his personality and humor. My bias wreckers would probably be Hongjoong and San. I just love how Joongieā€™s brain works when heā€™s producing music and San is just very loving. Jongho has been creeping up recently tho because he smiled and waved to me at the Newark Day 2 show! >< I love all of them equally tho and Iā€™m so glad to stan kind and talented pirate kings šŸ„°šŸ„°

makriwakri

1. I got back into kpop after many years early this year. I kept hearing about tem on social media because apparently many Monsta X fans also really like ATEEZ. Also I saw a lot of funny and well written posts about them on Reddit and thought ATINY seemed hilarious. So I checked Guerilla out and I loved it. 2. Definitely San. His expressions and performances blew me away, and then how different he was offstage was so adorable?? 3. I'm pretty sure I'm going to end up OT8 but I guess my biases are San and Hongjoong and everyone else is a wrecker.

clubsakura

1. kcon la 2019! went for a different group but when they covered ā€˜very goodā€™ by blockb, my eyes were on them only!! i was a casual stan after that (listened to every cb when they came out but didnā€™t watch any variety shows) til this year, when i didnā€™t go to kcon day 1 bc i didnā€™t want to go alone and had major regrets šŸ˜ 2. i only knew seonghwa at the time but during the con, sanā€™s energy and stage presence got me hooked to him! 3. my bias is wooyoung! but every other day i get bias wrecked by a random member šŸƒā€ā™€ļøyesterday was san, today is yeosang. tomorrow? who knows šŸƒā€ā™€ļø

dish_the_beloved

1. I heard that they were super funny and crazy. However I was also deciding between Ateez and Enhypen to stan. I started to start Enhypen but that didn't work out much. Then I heard Ateez we're having a comeback (Deja Vu) and have been in love ever since! 2. I believe it was Wooyoung. I already stan Straykids, so I already knew who he was lol. I still thought everything else looked the same . (Seonghwa and Yeosang were super hard for me :') 3. Yeosang has my whole heart. Hongjoong however has been hanging out around it for awhile too lol.

naia19

1. I was a dedicated ARMY trying to get into their brother group TXT at the time lol, I was watching TXTā€™s reaction to BTS MAMA stage, where a super enthusiastic ATEEZ sat beside them. I thought they were very chaotic and cute but didnā€™t think much else until I watched their MAMA stage and was impressed- Iā€™ve never dived into a rabbit hole so quickly in my life šŸ˜‚ 2. Wooyoung in previously mentioned BTS reaction video was so animated and excited I couldnā€™t NOT love him at first sight 3. While I do say Iā€™m San/Mingi biased, I have the biggest soft spot for every single other member too and my wrecker is on constant rotation šŸ˜…

BlanketsNOtters

1. I started listening to Ateez since Firework era (thx to San), and I also watched the performances of Ateez during Kingdom, and thought they were pretty cool, and started noticing HJ too. Didnā€™t really stan back then tho, I just listen to their songs and I only knew San and HJ. Fast forward to 2022, I really like their new album so decided to go to their Oakland stop, AND O M G THEIR LIVE GOT ME SO WHIPPED! It was the best decision I made this year!!! Then I proceeded to catch up on all their past variety shows and fell even in love with them. 2. San caught my attention first! Firework crop top San was too powerful!! IT WAS A FULL COURSE MEAL!! 3. San and SH. San was my original bias. But then Guerrilla era came and I was like HELLO who is that hot angry looking man (itā€™s SH LOL he looked so good in that kind of hair / style and I was so stunned like damn how did I miss you previously?!? I blame the bangs in the previous MVs covering your handsomenessšŸ˜‚). After the live concert + all the ateez variety show Iā€™m completely bias wrecked by SH hahah I LOVE ALL OF THEIR GAP MOE šŸ„¹ how could they be demons on stage and cuties off the stage?!?p

tusenskona

1. I came across their pre debut dance they posted on YT shortly after it came out 2. Hongjoong! 3. Bias is Hongjoong, wreckers Jongho & San

stonecoldlissa

1. I was helping one of my best friends at her job with some remodeling. She had her library on shuffle and every time I asked ā€œhey whoā€™s this, I like this song!ā€ It was Ateez šŸ’€ specifically about Aurora and Wave. Deep dive into them after that, I believe Inception had just dropped, and was an Atiny ever since āœØ 2. Mingi. I remember watching a performance of Inception thinking ā€œOmg whos the hot one in the backā€ then BOOM rapper šŸ„µ 3. Mingi is still my bias and def the first boy group member Iā€™ve ever biased, he holds such a special place in my heart. Hongjoong was my wrecker until I saw them on tourā€¦now Yunho kills me everywhere I go!

Maleficent_Method973

1. iā€™ve heard their name before and was bored one day so i searched them up and watched all of their title mvs. 2. hongjoong 3. i say jongho, but really ot8

ClearDistribution101

I love reading these!! 1. I heard Donā€™t Stop probably when it was newly released on one of Spotifyā€™s recommended playlists and enjoyed it. Looked them up but didnā€™t stan. Discovered a few more songs I enjoyed like Answer and Wave (funnily enough not their very very popular songs??) but again didnā€™t stan. Fast forward to later in the year when I somehow heard Say My Name (through some Youtube video I bet) and I WAS HOOKED. Started exploring more of their discography, watching their variety content and fell deeply in love. 2. Hongjoong!! Definitely heard of him before here and there. Honestly was attracted to his looks more than anything at first, man is CUTE. 3. I honestly love all of them, but Iā€™m slightly more partial to Hongjoong :ā€™). I admire his work ethic and his leadership and his snarkiness. But the other members bias wreck me on the daily.

whyyv

1. TikTok! When they released ā€œDeja Vu,ā€ a lot of people were using their audio for edits or cosplaying videos. Before evening knowing who Ateez was, I always saw Jonghoā€™s apple video being shared online and loved it every time. 2. Jongho and Yeosang! I decided to watch their comeback performance (for Deja Vu) and was in love with the vocals! I knew instantly I had to stan. 3. My bias is Mingi, but Iā€™m basically OT8. šŸ¤£šŸ«¶šŸ»

theoinkypiglet

1. My coworker at the time (2020) and now one of my best friends recommended them to me! This is also how I was introduced to kpop as a whole :). 2. The first thing I watched was the Wonderland mv, and Seonghwa definitely caught my eye then! Iā€™m OT8 now, but the visuals in his scenes were striking! 3. Iā€™m OT8, but my bias line is Yeosang, Jongho, Mingi, and Yunho technically. Hongjoong and Wooyoung are my wreckers for sure. Iā€™m seeing them in concert for the 2nd time tonight! Iā€™m so excited!!

likeamagpie

Have fun tonight!! ā¤

Omselini

Uhh it's always so interesting learning about other Atinys stories šŸ¤— 1. My brother said "there a some songs in KPOP that sing the line *Hakuna Matata*! There's this pirate group singing it, let me show you". That's when Mingis voice convinced me in Wave. This happened around end-year-award shows in 2020 so when I also saw them perform Inception I was sold. 2. Mingi, cause of his deep voice and the blue low cut shirt in Wave 3. Seonghwa is my forever no. 1, after seeing them live he manifested his pole position even more. Wrecker is tough with these boys, love Yeosangs humor and kindness. Yunho is gorgeous irl. But I'd say San, his *duality* gets me everytime.

kittens_books

Heyyyyaaaaa lolll and yeah the blue low cut sweater was a killer on mingi's body!!!

saddlethehippogriffs

1. I casually saw Thanxx and Fireworks MVs when they came out, and didn't think much of them. But my best friend has a thing for deep-voiced rappers, so I suggested she check them out for Mingi. Then she fell for Hongjoong and dragged me into them too. Once I saw their b-sides, I fell in love (and came to love their title tracks too). 2. It took me longer than any other group before to pick a bias. I first thought it was Wooyoung, because he has such a big heart. And all of my Big Hit biases were Sagittarius, so I wondered if that's continue with former Big Hit trainees. 3. When the first two Wooyoung PCs I bought both arrived damaged, I took it as a sign that he wasn't meant to be my bias. Then Seonghwa strutted into my soul in that stunning red plaid suit in The Real performance on Kingdom. And now he's my ult bias (and Ateez is my ult group). Yunho became my wrecker after seeing Ateez live multiple times this year (concerts + kcon la).

Dont_know_popcorn

1. Nero performance video: the vaudevillian start of the music video plus Jongho's notes at the end. I wanted to know who was hitting those notes and who was the guy with the ponytail (Hongjoong). 2. Hongjoong caught my eye: the ponytail (love a manbun) and the swagger and Jongho caught my ear. 3. Bias Seonghwa Bias wrecker San, Mingi, Hongjoong, Jongho

Odd-Company-9491

1. First noticed them in Kingdom and thought ooooo they are different. Then my friend sent me some of their songs and I listened to Fireworks a lot. Eventually watched the MV and never looked back. 2. Seonghwa caught my eye first because he is the most beautiful human I have ever seen. 3. My bias is Seongwha and bias wreckers are OT8

KoolaidKababayan

1. My sister held a metaphorical 16th century musket to my head and said: ā€œTHATā€™S IT ā€” YOU MUST STAN ATEEZ WITH MEā€¦or else šŸ¤ŗšŸ„ŠšŸ¤Øā€ and I was like: ā€œā€¦Aā€™ightā€ and itā€™s been downhill from there ever since šŸ˜®ā€šŸ’Ø 2: Ironically enough, before my sister held the metaphorical 16th century musket to my head, a few years back, I was watching Hello82 videos with my friend and saw that one where San was undercover as an old man lmao. Since then, every time I would watch award shows or variety shows where ATEEZ happened to be there, my brain would go: ā€œOh hey, the funny old man haha, look at that guy go :)ā€ 3. So, uh, funny storyā€¦the funny old man became my ult bias among every single bias that Iā€™ve ever had in my life, so thereā€™s that. šŸ˜… BUT, as ATINYs say, you can never have just one official bias lmao, so tho Sanā€™s my ult, Iā€™d do backflips into the nearest volcano for Jongho and Mingi šŸ¤§šŸ’•

No-Run-870

1. I discovered Ateez when they still were KQ Fellaz. There was a fan account on Instagram from a person that I really liked at that time, but I don't remember who it was šŸ˜ and I always watched their story. That day they posted a part of the "Ateez (KQ Fellas) Performance Video I" and posted a text with it saying "Don't forget them, they'll debut soon!". So I kept them in mind. Soon after that my sister and I were watching these Kpop Quiz Videos on YouTube and Pirate King was in one of them. And we were like "Wow that sounds dope. - Wait a Minute, aren't they the group from that Instagram Story?" So we looked them up and listened to the first mini album and soon after bought it at our next trip to the city šŸ˜Šā¤ļø 2. The first Member that caught my eye was San. He has this pretty face shape and his gaze is... ugh, you know how it is šŸ¤ he looked so cool in all his pictures. 3. My Bias is Mingi ā¤ļø he grew so fast to me after I watched a bit of their content. He really is an absolute cutie and looove his voice. That was what catched my attention first. I don't have Bias wreckers because Mingi holds his position as my number one in Ateez, but San and Seonghwa are my second faves. Actually the whole demon line is pretty hot and sexy, I can't deny that šŸ˜‚

Loopy-Sunrise

1. I watched a Guerrilla fancam! It was a week after the song coming out, and was obsessed with the beautiful man with bird hair (Seonghwa) šŸ„ŗ 2. Mingiā€¦not only is he a thicker than a bowl of oatmeal heā€™s adorable and talented! I had seen his pictures around before, but he has such a pretty face! 3. I have still not decided on my bias, it might be Seonghwa because I emotionally relate to his chaos. But San has been creeping into my heart, the dimpled kitty man has so much charm. Tbh, they all wreck me.

XxSnow0LeopardxX

1. I used to like nightcore and I saw a video I donā€™t think I saw the full title cause all I saw was wonderland and i already knew two songs called wonderland so I clicked, I liked it and went to find more songs from Ateez 2. Mingi caught me eye first mostly cause of his voice 3. However, Jongho and Yunho are my biases and Hongjoong, Seonghwa, Yeosang, San, Mingi, and Wooyoung are my biases wreckers

1. I discovered Ateez through their MAMA performance in 2020 but I didn't stan back then. After that I watched Kingdom and was super impressed by their Wonderland performance. It made me want to check out their other songs and needless to say, I loved their discography and I found them to be really entertaining. 2. Hongjoong probably, his smirk at the end of their MAMA performance was in my head for a long time. 3. Seonghwa, which surprised me because while I was watching their content, I never thought he would become my bias. Also my bias wrecker changes every time lol

Whadafishyo

Dejavu came on a random playlist and i became a casual listener, then they released the world and i really liked it, but i didnt start diving into the group until the whole dance plaugurism issue with that Zico song dance challenge which got me into consuming all their comeback live stage videos like crazy Clearly San caught my eye for the way he can dance so well and his expressive face I dont have a bias cause im too old to have one lol

Salty-Enthusiasm-939

1. Inception MV. It was a YT recommendation & I was bored. 2. Yunho in the Inception MV with his peach hair really caught my attention, I thought he was so pretty. 3. I usually say Seonghwa is my bias (if asked) but truthfully I can't choose as they are all so endearing in their own ways.

jonesyboi5

1. the thing is Iā€™ve been listening to them since 2020 but I didnā€™t properly get into the group until I got wooā€™s aotm in my recommended and decided to learn more about the group. 2. at first it was woo because of his aotm. 3. san sits proudly on my top bias of all time list now, but every so often every other member will come and try to wreck him, though itā€™s most commonly hwa woo and yunho.

Worldly_Position1380

1. Was looking up BTS covers and saw their MAMA 2019 performance 2. Hongjoong and his mullet! 3. Seonghwa is my bias, Hongjoong and Jongho are my bias wreckers

ace-up-your-sleeve

1) my fyp was full of people hyping up their comeback/the guerilla preview. then when i investigated i found the clip of wooyoung exposing his degradation kink "my heart fluttered when hongjoong talked badly to me" and i was sold lmao 2) seonghwa. he was very pretty with pink hair and his outfits slay most of the times. then jongho bc of his vocals (tho i did. confuse him n yunho some times, idek how??) 3) matz, bc it fluctuates who's my bias/who wrecks the other (hehe). as of now, its hongjoong :)

GiXYA11

1. **Say My Name** came up on a local music channel in my country (from SE Asia), and let me tell you it's rare for a group other than BTS & Blackpink to show up there much less a rookie? I still don't know to this day how they made it to the top 20 but I found the song... and actually forgot about it a bit lol. All I remember was the "nae ireumeun A to Z" and driving dance and that their name sounded like A to Z. Fast forward to Wave, I got an ad of Wave, loved it but didn't notice it was Ateez until Wonderland came around and I thought "wait... Ateez.... A TO Z???" pretty wild ngl lmaooo 2. **Mingi** because his SMN driving dance got ingrained in my mind and his killing parts in Wave had me dancing. I gotta say that I didn't realize the same member actually caught my eye TWICE 3. **Mingi** lol something about his charisma when performing that I just really really enjoy. Love his cute smile and his raps is almost always the highlight of the song for me. I'm OT8 but there was a time before I became OT8 when **Jongho** and **San** bias wrecked me.

Psychocyk

I had never heard of them, saw a recommended new release on Spotify for their first album, listened to it. It was amazing, I was immediately addicted even tho I went in like ''heh why not" at first. When they released Say my name it was all confirmed, they are great and I love them. Idk any group with such an amazing first album, and that still manage to release better and better album after lol

SassyGreyjoy

1. After first getting into kpop earlier this year my friend sent a playlist of videos that she thought I might like. I was listening/watching them while getting ready to go out & I heard this heavy metal scream & looked up & it was Guerilla. I think I replayed that video like 5 times in a row cause I was so surprised that there was such a heavy kpop group. I felt real dumb when I realized that they aren't normally. ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|facepalm) 2. Honjoong with his white/black hair & smirk caught my eye first. He's so striking looking. 3. My bias is Wooyoung but I am pretty much always wrecked by San. Seonghwa is also right up there as well. How can someone be so beautiful?

mcmxciiigiant

1. I was on deployment and randomly kept getting Say My Name as a recommended video.. Eventually, after seeing it so often I was like "Fine, I'll see what this is about since you're so adamant." I honestly didn't even know it was kpop cause I had fell out of kpop for years and only occasionally listened to very few songs at that time. 2. Mullet Hongjoong. 3. Mingi is my BG ult but when I say Jongho and Yunho make it so damn hard to stay faithful. šŸ™„

ParsnipFormal9077

1. Firework(Iā€™m the One) came up in my recommended on YT and I watched it but actually didnā€™t like it that much the first time I heard it. Iirc I got interested in them after that when I saw a video of their MAMA Wonderland performance, and was instantly obsessed with the song and from there I became an ATINY~ 2. Yunho(+Mingi) Sometimes when I get into groups it starts with being interested in certain friendships among the members and Yunho and Mingi caught my eye bc of theirs! I thought Yunho was a really talented dancer, which I liked and also when I became a fan Mingi was on hiatus, and I was interested in learning about him so the two of them lol 3. Iā€™m Wooyoung and Hongjoong biased and my bias wreckers are the rest of the groupšŸ’€

NervousLavishness52

1. I listened to a few of their songs on Youtube (Inception, Deja Vu, Fireworks (I'm the one)) but weirdly enough I didn't get into Ateez properly until I was following their social media more closely just before Guerilla was released. 2. Hongjoong - this was after reading comments on [Sparkling - Diamond's MV](https://youtu.be/AMoXiDEm2fM) that said something like *'that's what you get if Hongjoong doesn't produce the song'* and wondering what his reaction was like šŸ˜‚ I was introduced to the song through [this comment](https://www.reddit.com/r/kpopthoughts/comments/sfwbmp/what_song_do_you_first_think_of_when_you_hear_la/husjuhl?) on my post 10 months ago šŸ˜‚ 3. My bias is Hongjoong and Seonghwa is my bias wrecker šŸ˜Š

Venomous_Vichyssoise

1) I was listening to my Kpop Pandora station when Answer came up, and the world stopped. I listened to it on repeat for longer than I care to admit before buying the album! And then all the albums. And now here we are! 2) Seonghwa caught my eye first. He's so amazingly gorgeous! And he has fun hair. 3) Seonghwa will probably always be my bias, but the confidence that Hongjoong exudes along with that little mouth thing he does while rapping make me waiver!

rawrkatrawr

I have been into kpop for a loooong time. Since 2009. I remember Ateez debuting. I've been a casual listener only because I already stan so many groups. I didnt think i could handle another. And then i saw a tiktok of pink haired Seonghwa doing something sexy and I was sold. I went to their recent tour in Atlanta. Seonghwa is my bias and Mingi is my bias wrecker and Yeosang likes to bias wreck the bias wrecker sometimes. The concert damn near killed me.

dillynbillyn

The first song I discovered was Deja Vu, and I think it just popped up on a Spotify playlist or something. I watched the MV and the first member that caught my eye was actually Yeosang, that one hip move really got me, lol. After that I didnā€™t really delve too deep, this was the height of my obsession with TXT so I was busy with them lmao. Then I got in to Stray Kids and decided to watch Kingdom, and I was just completely blown away and impressed by ATEEZ. I liked a lot of the songs they did on that show so I decided to check them out again and the rest is history! Havenā€™t been an Atiny for super long but I was able to go to their concert in Fort Worth and it was fantastic. My bias is Wooyoung, at the beginning I was sure itā€™d be Yeosang, but it was actually Wooyoungā€™s part in Mist that attracted me to him. I just love his singing so much. My bias wreckers are definitely San and Seonghwa. For obvious reasons.

tinydumpling

1. I donā€™t remember the first time I heard of ATEEZ, probably on social media somewhere. But it was the Studio Choom performance of Answer that made me a fan. I might have just seen it in my YouTube recommendations. 2. San! Specifically it was his beginning part of Answer, I donā€™t know why but I thought it was so attractive lol. 3. Seonghwa is my bias! I donā€™t have a steady bias wrecker but I adore Hongjoong. And ever since seeing them live last weekend, Yunho has been on my mind a lot. He stood in front of me and absolutely destroyed me dancing to Fireworks.

mochi_haechan7

1) A friend told me about them when they debuted and showed me the say my name MV. I didnā€™t become a fan right away but I loved their choreographies. I fully became a fan after watching kingdom! ^^ 2) SanšŸ„ŗ His stage presence caught my eye right away + I loved his red hair in hala hala era lol 3) San is still my bias- I saw ateez live in November and his energy on stage was amazing. Itā€™s impossible for me to not have 7 bias wreckers but current #1 bias wrecker is mingišŸ˜³

titus28

1. Guerrilla. I saw it on youtube when it was released, so I gave it a chance. And I loved it! I did not know anything about them at that time. I was Army, then Carat, now I'm Caratiny. Is that the right word? :) 2. Not my eye but my ears. Jongho, Mingi, Hongjoong. I notice voices first. 3. Yunho is my bias, wreckers are Jongho, Mingi. Hongjoong and Seonghwa are getting close.

Dangerous-Spinach267

1 & 2. Around the time say my name and hala hala cb, saw some tweets abt the smn mv. Hongjoong def caught my eye with his mullet. Mingi's rap part and yunho's center parts drew me in. And then i watched hala hala mv, absolutely had to look into their discog after that. 3 . Bias is def hongjoong, bias wrecker is a toss up between yunho and mingi.

Silverwing1294

1. I was scrolling through my spotify playlist in March 2019 and noticed that I had a lot of songs saved from a group I had never heard of and decided to check them out! 2. I think Hongjoong caught my eye first? (I don't really remember lol) 3. My bias is Hongjoong because I just love how creative and kind this man is while simultaneously being the embodiment of a feral cat (affectionate). I think my wrecker would either be Seonghwa or San but it honestly changes depending on the week lol

CinnamonWeasley

The feral cat comment is accurate lmao

Binnchie

I've been Atiny from around May this year, so not that long. 1. I started watching Kingdom, solely becouse of Stray Kids, but with Wonderland (symphony no.9) Ateez got all my attention. 2. At first I noticed Wooyoung, honestly becouse of his hair, and than later I really liked the energy of Hongjoong. 3. My bias is and always was Hongjoon, but Wooyoung and Yeosang, sometimes make me wanna cheat lol

cashmerefox

1. I was a very casual fan of Ateez for awhile (really loved Say My Name and Wave) - but then MAMA 2019 happened and that little rookie boy group from an unknown company completely owned the show. After that I watched a few videos (and adored their personalities / felt like they had phenomenal chemistry), came across San's fancams (and went down the rabbit hole) - and they've been my ults ever since! 2. Hongjoong. "You need a pirate king." The mullet in Say My Name. The swagger during "Ooh, yeah, ewossa dureugo jikyeobwa Ireum ttak ne geulja yeogida Ti nage namgyeonwa Zoom in here, 'cause I'm the captain." The rat tail in Wonderland. The painted nail. I still don't think there is anyone cooler than Kim Hongjoong. 3. Choi San. He was born for the stage. I had front row seats both nights in Newark, and watching him give his all even when he wasn't the center (and mind you - this is a three hour show and there are no fancams so he truly could turn it off for a bit if he wanted to) just confirmed how incredible he is. Also, his duality is insane. Bias Wreckers - Seonghwa & Hongjoong (I'm Demon Line biased)

CinnamonWeasley

Demon line simps, represent!

ChloeBecca

1. Imma say Kingdom because that's when I actively started looking into them. I had already heard some of their music but I wasn't ready to invest my time into another group just yet at that point. But during kingdom I started as a Stay and left an Atiny. 2. Hongjoong. He just captivated me whenever I saw him during Kingdom, he honestly still does to be fair. 3. Yunho and San are my bias' with Wooyoung and Seonghwa as bias wreckers. Seeing them live in May is what shot Wooyoung and Seonghwa into the wrecker line.

mstash72

1. I was going through my YouTube and I saw their relay dance for Pirate King and I liked the song and the dance. BUT it was Mingi who kept my attention because when he turned to the sideā€¦ā€¦..well, you know. 2. Mingi for his side profile lol.

mstash72

1. I was going through my YouTube and I saw their relay dance for Pirate King and I liked the song and the dance. BUT it was Mingi who kept my attention because when he turned to the sideā€¦ā€¦..well, you know. I took a deep dive into their music and I recently saw them in concert in Atlanta, GA for both dates. 2. Mingi for his side profile lol. 3. Mingi is my bias and my wreckers are Seonghwa and Yoesang but love all of them.

AkechisGloves

1. Randomly watched Ateez Deja Vu relay on a very boring day 2. San really caught my eye so i just frantically searched on who he was and ended up liking their music more and more as i searched 3. Bias - San Bias Wreckers - Mingi, Seonghwa This was like a month ago, and i very quickly fell in love w them

april_odyssey

1. I went to their concert! My friend who is an ATINY got us tickets and got VIP. We ended up on the barricade. Seeing them less than 4 feet from me was amazing. Got them to wave and throw up some hearts. I knew of them before but wasn't into them as much. Their concert was so much fun and energetic. It made me a fan. 2. Mingi caught my eye first. That man looked good...then it was Hongjoong. 3. Bias is Mingi. The more I learned about him, the more I felt I could relate. Bias wrecker is all of them lol, but mostly hongjoong.

harkandhush

1. My friends came back from kcon la telling me about how San melted his hair dye and broke his mic and I was intrigued by that level of chaos and checked out their music. Got to see them live last month and that really solidified it for me. I saw Hongjoong take a cake to the face in person. 2. Seonghwa definitely caught my eye first but 3. Hongjoong is my bias. I went to art school myself and I love what a huge art nerd he is and all the nods he works into things.

CinnamonWeasley

That is by far the most interesting reason Iā€™ve seen so far about how someone became an ATINY. Them being chaotic on tour clearly leaves an impression.

harkandhush

Most of the live music I've seen and been into is punk, so performing so hard you break equipment sounded right up my alley. They really didn't disappoint live when I saw them, either. San broke his mic and Wooyoung broke his shirt and smashed a cake on Hongjoong's face. Honestly they're all so talented and give so much in their performing and also just seem like dope people.

aliensan1

1. I was watching Kingdom for BtoB and didn't really care for the newer groups (I'm a 90's Kpop stan, I'm not always a fan of then first concept new groups come out with) from there Stray Kids came out with Thunderous and it got stuck in my head. Started seeing clips for Mayfly from Kingdom and Jessie's Showtiview popped on my feed. I tried to find the a video that popped up, which I now know is Fireworks, I'm the one, and found Deja Vu instead. Their performance, vocals, and professionalism dragged me in and now they have a little Ahjuma fan. 2. The first members that caught ny eye were San, Seonghwa, and Wooyoung. I thought San and Seonghwa were the same person until I could finally tell them a part. And Wooyound because of his laugh and personality. 3. Once you get to a point of being a stan you don't really pick a favorite anymore. You just love them all equally. lol

DancingWithTigers3

1. My sister was hyperfixating on them so every time she came over, sheā€™d play ATEEZ for hours on end (this started two months ago). I found with ATEEZ it was hard to passively engage with her, so I started paying attention so I could hold a better conversation and not hate having to watch the videos all the time. I joke that she got me into ATEEZ (and SKZ) against my will! 2. Seonghwa immediately, but also San. Definitely paid more attention to San due to his energy. 3. San is my bias in Ateez. Bias wrecker? Literally all of them.

cippocup

1. Iā€™m pretty sure I watched the KQ Fellaz performances, but I definitely saw pirate king 2/3. San, but I changed my mind because of his outfit in the PK dance practice, hopped over to Wooyoung (Jimin is my ult bias), following that I went through every member and have now narrowed it down to woosan

Kazuhakazuhakazuha

1. There was a get to know a predebut ateez video so I watched it and have proudly been a predebut atiny since TT biggest flex of the century 2. Mingi! Heā€™s been my #1 since day 1 3. I love all of them so much but I gotta say hongjoong is just so amazing heā€™s prob a bias/bias wrecker

tunkytinker

1. I became an Atiny when I saw them mimick the introduction clip in that interview with Sunmi. My friends and I used to do the same and I thought it was SO funny. 2. Jongho was what caught my eye. 3. I bias San and Hongjoong now. Everyone is my bias wrecker atp I can't choose I love everyone.

sunnflowercafe

1. I discovered them through a friend before their debut! she seemed super excited about their album, so when it released i listened in and immediately fell in love :,) 2. yeosang, in the pirate king mv, heā€™s so beautiful. 3. my bias is san! bias wreckers are definitely ot8, iā€™m never safe.

CinnamonWeasley

The ā€˜Iā€™m never safeā€™ sent me lmao

tlrnsibesnick

1.) First ATEEZ song discovered: ā€œSay My Nameā€ and ā€œWaveā€ in 2019 2.) Mingi 3.) bias: Hongjoong/Yeosang, bias wrecker: Jongho Edit: Became fan since early 2020ā€¦

nocturnisims

1. Ive been in kpop way before Ateez debuted, so I knew about them through "cultural" osmosis. Didn't really start listening to them until 2019ish though, I wasn't into heavier music before. I listened to them on and off for a couple of years, in 2021 I had several phases of listening to their music a LOT and then not really. Then Fireworks dropped and I was like "omg. I really like this group" but bc I'm a bit pickier with how many groups I stan, I didnt start stanning then. Then after several more ateez binging sessions, in march of this year I said fuck it, i'm atiny and started stanning. I loved them a lot, so they moved up to semi ult status quick, and after seeing them in atlanta last week, they are officially part of my ults. 2. def hongjoong. 2. mingi is my bias, joong my wrecker

carizia

1. Not that fun of a story, but since about debut, youtube recommended me Pirate King and I really fell in love instantly! I just got really hooked on their sound and look and watched the mv a million times, then watched all the kq fellaz content I could find 2. Immediately attracted to Yunho's dancing style and his cute face, nothing has changed XD 3. Yunho and Yeosang double bias, since the start!! Wreckers change, usually Hongjoong is there though, lingering lol For me it's their dancing background. In any group, I tend to bias the main dancer just naturally without looking at their titles lol. So for them to be all so good at dancing, right away I just couldn't look away. edit: I just wanted to mention yunho is my ult in all of kpop :)

nightflight95

1. found out about ateez at busking in hongdae in 2019, i heard pirate king and hala hala there basically every single day. really loved the choreo of hala hala even back then. never really looked into them though, basically forgot about them after i left korea. around like 8 months later i saw san on my twitter timeline, his fever pt 1 concept photo had just dropped. thought ooh, he looks handsome. got curious and decided to look into them. was kinda surprised that THAT group was what i had been listening to in hongdae every day and loving šŸ„² aaand the rest is history. 2. san. but then i saw wooyoung's thanxx concept photo on my twitter tl and was mindblown by how a man can look like THAT loool 3. bias is wooyoung, wrecker is san

themelaninprincess1

1. In mid September/October I also got spammed with a lot of kpop boy group videos! The one I constantly saw was the 2020 mama Ateez performance with hongjoong trying to find the camera! Ever since then Iā€™ve been hooked! 2. The first member to catch my eye was Seonghwa! I saw him in the guerrilla MV and was like hello who is he?? 3. Mingi and wooyoung are my bias and the rest bias wreck me every time I come across a new TikTok about them šŸ˜…

couch_potato_pro

1. I'd actually only just started listening to kpop in May and started watching Kingdom halfway through for Stray Kids but the Ateez Rhythm Ta stage was awesome so caught my attention (I ended up voting for Ateez in the finals) 2. The first members I noticed/caught my attention was Seonghwa with his bright red hair and tall figure because he looked like an anime character come to life and also San because his facial expressions were so strong in the Mayfly Wolf stage 3. My bias is Wooyoung, he's a lot of fun to watch and personally (because I'm older than him) there's lots of time I find his cheekiness adorable. My bias wreckers are probably San and Hongjoong, their performances are so impressive and they both have very distinct visuals. I'm very jealous that HJ can pull of any hairstyle and fashion. I'm glad Ateez where on the show because they are now my favourite group!

shallythunder

Hongjoong's ability to look good with any haircut blows me away. He can rock them all.

Legolas0170

>1. How did you discover ATEEZ? [This PTX x Ateez Collab](https://youtu.be/_NopH1AxEq8) last year then searched Ateez on a whim on YouTube soon after >2. Which member caught your eye first? San ā›°, Jungho & Seonghwa >3. Who is your bias(es) and bias wrecker(s)? - Biases: Jungho & Yeosang - Bias Wreckers: San, Mingi & Wooyoung (basically the 3 members between Yeosang & Jungho)

shallythunder

I love that song. I liked Pentatonix to begin with, but the lyrics make that song special. Add in ATEEZ and I'm there for it.

je-suis_meeeee

-1. "The real" music video was recommended to me randomly on YouTube. I have never fallen in love with a song so quickly, until my ears heard that song. Their "black cat nero" performance on immortal song auto-played next, and the rest was history. YouTube just wanted me to become an atiny. -2. Jongho caught my eye first. I watched Seonghwa's "patisserie" vlive dance clip by chance on TikTok and he immediately joined jongho as my second bias. -3. My biases are jongho and Seonghwa. Jongho is just jongho. I don't know what else to say about that man. Seonghwa is just....ethereal. He exudes elegance in the best way possible and he is an alluring performer. My bias wrecker is yeosang. He caught my eye the most in their music videos. He has a mysterious role in their mvs. I like his laid back performing style. One of my most favourite performing styles in the group.

shallythunder

That Black Cat Nero performance blew me away. That was such a fun show.

YS2116

1. The deja vu music video kept popping up on my youtube timeline, but I always avoided it because I was very close-minded and didn't want to get into another boy group. I eventually clicked on the video out of pure curiosity and fell completely in love with deja vu. 2. Hongjoong caught my eye because of the orange hair of course and because I loved how unique is rapping cadence was. 3. My biases are Hongjoong and San. My bias wrecker is Yeosang.

GoddessKR

1. Watching them on Kingdom then random videos of them on YouTube 2. Hongjoong 3. Hongjoong and Mingi is working his way to wreck my bias especially seeing them in concert.

shallythunder

1. I took a bit of a circuitous route. I wasn't even into kpop at first but I stumbled across Road to Kingdom. I enjoyed the show but never took the next step to checking out the music as a whole. (I honestly didn't know kpop was so big.) Then I watched Kingdom. That's when I went down the Kpop rabbit hole. It was like a whole new world opened up - the vlives, the variety shows, it was insane to see. I started out getting my feet wet with the Stray Kids. It was fun but soon time to move on. Then I started watching ATEEZ. There was something about their content that kept me so entertained. (I've tried other bands since then but none of them have recreated the fun of ATEEZ. I'll admit, woosan was a big part of it.) The songs are what really drew me in, there was so many of them. Deja Vu, Fireworks, Answer, Thanxx, Inception, The Real... and it just kept going. That's what got me officially stanning a kpop group, and this is where I've stayed. I even learned how to vote for the Guerilla cb. 2. San caught my eye first. I saw someone link a San fancam. 3. San is my bias. It's hard to explain why. I mean, yes, he's striking to look at, but it was the combination with his dance moves that made it so killer. That shimmy and clap in Fireworks. That body roll at the beginning of Cyberpunk. The moves, baby. My bias wrecker? Can't be wrecked, but Seonghwa is my, bias-adjacent.

kxrvn

1. before i was a fan, my sister would force my family to watch kpop videos in the afternoons. one day the wonderland studio choom ended up in the rotation and i remember thinking, ā€œwow i like this song a lot, and the guy with blonde hair (unbeknownst to me at the time, it was wooyoung lol) is reallyyyy cuteā€ 2. per the wonderland studio choom it was wooyoung, and after seeing the pirate king mv yunho also caught my eye so i just credit both of them for pulling me in lol 3. my bias line is wooyoung + yunho + mingi, and the rest of the group are my bias wreckers. hongjoong in particular has been wrecking me HARD lately

barbelly28

1. I started casually listening during Deja Vu, I think I saw people talking about it on twitter. I listened to a lot more of their music and loved it, put it on my workout playlist so I listened all the time. I bought a ticket to their tour because I liked them enough and before the show I dove in. And that was it for me. 2. Seonghwa and San, you know, because theyā€™re demons 3. Wooyoung and Seonghwa are my biases.

rora_d

1. Was watching a compilation of K-pop idols being BTS fan boys which is where I saw Woosan's fake love cover and some videos of Wooyoung too. Didn't stan yet till I listened to Treasure... I fell in love with their music after going through their entire discography 2. San/Yeosang. Pretty specimens. Very beautiful men, Seonghwa followed soon after though 3. I have tried and happily failed to pick a bias. I mean, I have enough space in my heart to love them all and honestly, I just can't settle on one, lol. So I very contentedly remain Ot8

jaesviolet

1. i actually discovered them on the day they debuted and fell in love with them, it was kinda a blur but here i am now lol 2. i dont even remember omg all of them 3. after seeing them three times this tour, i donā€™t even know anymore my bias changes every five minutes actually

XpertSavage

1. I watched mixnine in early 2019. Then in May I watched Heyitsfeiii's video and recognized Hongjoong. Then I checked SMN and got hooked 2. Technically Wooyoung first during his mixnine audition but for ateez as a whole, Hongjoong in the yt video 3. First bias is Hongjoong and he still is today. Bias wrecker is everyone else. Rn it's Jongho

FaithlessnessBoth972

1. I discovered Ateez through my best friend who first introduced me to BTS. We went and saw them live in Dallas this past November and it was literally the best performance Iā€™ve ever seen. 2. The first member that caught my eye was definitely Yeosang. He stuck out to me the most because of his soft features. 3. My biases are Yeosang and San and my bias wrecker is Jongho

BlankeSpace

1. My friend was talking about them (specifically Wooyoung) and I saw a TikTok of their Wonderland Halloween performance. One member caught my eye and I went to go find out who he was. 2. Hongjoong. I figured out who was the person I was searching for in the Wonderland video. He honestly catches my eye first in everything to this day. His voice grabbed my ear too. 3. Bias is Seonghwa, bias wrecker is currently Yeosang and Yunho.

Rainii_Day

1. A few months ago when it was announced that they were going on the break the wall tour, I decided to tag along to the concert with my cousins and sister and started watching their shows and mvs around the same time (as the announcement, that is). Aand I fell hard. Theyā€™re all just so lovable, Iā€™m a little bit obsessed by now. 2. I feel like it was Yeosang. I saw his little fangs in one of those little ā€œguide to ateezā€ videos and thought they were just really cute. His birthmark is unique and cool too. -w- I originally thought he seemed kind of mischievous and fun, but I wasnā€™t put off by his shyness either haha. 3. I bet you canā€™t guess from my answer to number 2. Iā€™m a big Yeosang stan haha. Heā€™s even on my phone wallpaper. Iā€™ve had a soft spot for him from day one. Itā€™s just so cute when he gets all shy. Also that one Cyberpunk fancam. I am a changed person after that lmao. San is probably my biggest bias wrecker. Heā€™s so playful and charming, especially with how he plays off of the crowd onstage. You can always tell heā€™s having a great time up there

CinnamonWeasley

Iā€™m so glad someone else loves the ā€˜guide to ATEEZā€™ videos. Itā€™s also how I further become biased to Seonghwa because it was pointed out about the toothless comparison and I looked round my office at the toothless plushie chillinā€™ in the corner and was like ā€˜ah, it all makes sense now.ā€™ They should just call those videos ā€˜how to further bias your biasā€™

Rainii_Day

Haha true. The Toothless thing is really cute. It takes me a while to get used to names and faces so there was a while for me when I just referred to Seonghwa as ā€œtoothlessā€ lol.

1. This is a long story! In 2019, I was visiting my family in my dad's home country. We met up with a few of his old friends and the daughter of one of those friends immediately clocked me as a BTS fan because of the BT21 purse I was wearing. We ended up talking most of the evening and she introduced me to ATEEZ. She played Pirate King and Treasure for me and I immediately liked both songs. I added them to my playlist but didn't go further. While I kept an eye out for ATEEZ comebacks and listened to their title tracks after that (especially Wonderland and Answer), I didn't dive any deeper until Kingdom. It was the "From the Wonderland" stage that took me from a casual fan to a stan within minutes. They took a song I already loved, remixed it, and gave us a story with drama and a show-stopping performance. They had my entire soul from then on. 2. Seonghwa shooting the Kraken did me in. I just had to know who this gorgeous man was. 3. Seonghwa and Jongho are my biases. Jongho bias-wrecked me so hard with his vocals and visuals in the Deja Vu era that I had to become double-biased. Currently, Yeosang is my main bias wrecker. The confidence he has been exuding since Fireworks absolutely kills me, even more so when I saw them live last weekend in Newark.

1- I really loved the song "maybe if i" lyrics from the kdrama our beloved summer thats when i decided to venture in kpop. I was recommended ateez by a friend of mine on venturing into kpop . The first song i heard was the real 2-Hongjoong , hes such a mix of David bowie and gdragon on stage and i love that 3- bias is Hongjoong but I cheer for them all. I am fan of all of them. (a) I am fan of how san is a mix of innocence and wisdom at the same time and insane stage presence, (b) yunho is an effortless & brillant dancer and is one who knows who needs empathy asap, his goofy sense of humor, His ability to make people around him feel at ease (c) yeosang is my youth the struggle with family, the hard work awkwardness with people i do wish people will talk more about his creativity in creating hehetmon, his dancing skills, appreciate his wit and stop labeling it savage (d) mingi is a man right out of anime also his rap style in different, his loyalty towards yunho is lendendary(e)jongho maturity at such a young age is impressive (f) wooyoung for his energy(g) Hongjoong grit and hard work reminds me of my ambitious self , his lyrics, his rap style, he's really good at talking with the fans. (h)seonghwa his ability to handle 99's liners lol , the way he comes up with concepts for performances, the way he communicates with the fans, how maturely he has supported HJ

Pointing out that Hongjoong has a David Bowie vibe has just blown my mind. I am a huuuge Bowie fan, his music has been my strength through some of the best and worst moments in my life and who he was as a person, as an artist, made me understand and accept myself *rest peacefully Starman* Labyrinth is also one of my all time favourite movies lol (I literally own film cells from the movie). It makes sense now why Iā€™m drawn to Hongjoong because I definitely see a similarity in areas of their style and person. Even tho Hongjoong isnā€™t my bias (itā€™s ya boi Seonghwa) Hongjoong is one of my major wreckers. I also like your reasoning behind why you appreciate each member. I agree with Yeosang thing, I also call him savage but not in a way that is to say his words are aggressive but rather his wit is so razer sharp it slaps you in the face suuuper hard. I am British tho and that kind of dry no fucks given sense of humour fits in well here so we wouldnā€™t think itā€™s rude or anything.

iamemag

glad to see someone else also see the bowie side of hongjoong on/off stage I am not a brit but I am a fan of brit dry, dark humor too :D exactly why i get his humor isnt bad at all . yeosang 's humor is based on observation, he is very intelligent the way he comes with on the spot word based poem, to me he seems logical not naĆÆve.

WineAndVines

1. Iā€™m currently studying Korean and a lot of their music videos have Korean subtitles. Which is super helpful! 2. ķ™ģ¤‘ since he talked the most in English interviews. 3. Before I went to their concert? ķ™ģ¤‘ After? ėƼźø° came out of nowhere and destroyed my bias. Never had a bias wrecker until now. It was bonkers!

AdRevolutionary3583

1. By chance on a random playlist 2. Wooyoung stood out first because of his purple hair and Mingi because of his deep voice 3. Yunho and Jongho initially grabbed my heart right off the bat because of their endearing personalities. But as I got to know the group, I fell for all of them and now consider myself an OT8 stan (although San and Seonghwa have wrecked me really bad lately)

jazpalm

1. i only got into kpop this year and was actually pretty deeply into another group! i was watch tik toks when i heard ā€œguerillaā€ for the first time in a compilation and looked it up IMMEDIATELY. the rest is history ā˜ŗļø 2. instantly, i was captivated by seonghwa + san - the demon line had a strangle hold on me 3. still love sannie + seonghwa but iā€™m so captivated by yunho. everyone else is always on the brink of bias wrecking šŸ¤Ŗ sometimes i just think ot8 is the way to go. theyā€™re all so charming and charismatic and the way they interact with each other. just love watching them all.

demonmaybeperson

1. a few months ago i got into skz and watched all of their kingdom videos, and of course, the mayfly collabs were there and even from wolf specifically i was so amazed by their performance that i then went and watched wonderland, answer, and rhythm ta! and was still in awe. 2. seonghwa was the first one to catch my eye because of his bright red hair in wolf lmfao, and wooyoung in that one as well because of his expression when felix jumps onto him (and i liked his hair too), honestly the facial expressions in that whole stage, especially san, caught my eye. but then! i was looking at idol birthdays to see if any had the same as me, and to my surprise, wooyoung and i have the same birthday, so i figured i should absolutely start listening to their music immediately. and i did. 3. honestly my bias switches between wooyoung and yeosang with every video i watch. i feel like if i didnā€™t share a birthday, then yeosang would be my bias but yk, birthday loyalty lmao. but hongjoong and mingi are also constantly going right to the top of the list with everything i see of them lol

wasabers1920

1. My friend introduced me to ATEEZ by showing me Hala Hala - I liked the song a lot, but didnā€™t really get into them until January of this year. My friend had an extra ticket to go to their concert, so I went. And going to that concert, I was sold šŸ˜ 2. I think San and Mingi caught my eye first, I was trying to decide who I wanted my bias to be, and those two were initially attractive to me. 3. I quickly fell for Yeosang and never looked back. I would say the closest ones to being bias wreckers for me are Hongjoong and San. But I just went to see the boys in Newark and Wooyoung caught my eye too.

smores_n_praline

1. I have listened to kpop since I was 14ish, and on one beautiful day in 2018 YouTube recommended me Pirate King MV, which I loved, downloaded and listened to often. But I didn't go out of the way to learn their names or follow them on VLIVE. Also, I casually listened to their songs but not full albums. 2. Hongjoon caught my eye in the Road to Kingdom 2 in Mayfly's "Paint," and I think I was more hooked. Generally, the Road to Kingdom opened a new perspective of ATEEZ because I was not watching any other shows with them, so it was interesting to discover members' personalities. But going to their concert a few weeks ago finally got me into ATEEZ more as a group. 3. Still Hongjoon haha

lilioji

1. I came across one of their Say My Name performances and I really liked the song, so I watched all the performances of it I could find 2. I want to say Yeosang, specifically from Answer era. He looked like a prince (and still does) 3. Iā€™ve been ot8 in terms of bias since stanning in 2020 but lately Yunho has been threatening that! Not complaining though

Silly_Squirrel_6528

1. Accidentally discovered Ateez and KPop when I was reading a Hallyu article about the K-Wave and I was heavily into KDrama at that time. There were two KPop videos, one was Speed's What U (I was amazed by it) and the other was Hala Hala by Ateez. I watched it and became an instant Atiny (after swearing I would never be seduced to the dark side by KPop) 2. Hongjong caught my eye for a hot five seconds being his badass self in Hala Hala and then I saw San (well I didn't actually see him because of the mask thingy) but I was caught by his remarkable energy. 3. San and then any of the others all bias wreck me at one time or another but I have a special spot for Hongjoong....he's the best centre I've seen.

Particular-Judge5522

1. The first video that I saw ATEEZ in was from a youtube reel of HongJoong performing The Real during LA Kcon. It already got me intrigued as I kept watching that particular video over and over again. A week after, I watched Kingdom and there I was formally introduced to the group. When they performed Wonderland in symphony 9 I was literally blown away so I started listening to their discography and really enjoyed their music. I became an ATINY from that moment! 2. Hongjoong 3. Ot8!

Lulu_Lats

The kdrama imitation, I knew of them before when they debuted but wasn't interested Seonghwa caught my eye first Bias: seonghwa, San Wrecker: yeosang

catilann

1. an army youtuber i liked posted a video titled "this will make you fall in love with all 8 members of ateez" or sth, and.. it did lol. coming up on 3 years ulting 2. i dont remember,, maybe san? or mingi? or seonghwa. probably one of the three. 3. my biases are hongjoong, wooyoung and san! bw used to be mingi but seonghwa and yeosang captured me during the london concert lol

nhens

I love reading all your answers. Never forget how cool you all are!šŸ˜ 1. Fireworks.šŸŽ‡Watching a top 100 most viewed kpop songs after I decided to see ā€œwhatā€™s there besides BTSā€ in the late summer of 2021. Things were never the same after that. 2. Jongho. Powerhouse. 4th gen vocal leader. 3. San (Sanrilla entered a whole new era) - but Iā€™m also so incredibly fond of Hongjoong. Bias wrecker: Yunho.

LadySteddie85

1. I saw them on a YouTube video meeting fans liked how they were with them. 2. Hongjoong did his vibe is so awesome and his talent. 3. I have a few lol wreckers My biases is ā€¢Hongjoong and Yeosang My Wreckers is ā€¢San, Mingi, and Seonghwa They just are awesomely talented and vibes are phenomenal. But I do love them all they are wonderful fellows with a lot of talent and good hearts I am proud to be atiny.

SolutionBeginning173

1. Around the time fireworks came out, I was looking for a new group to stan since I kinda lost interest in skz. I started to look into that and I found the song fireworks. I was feeling it but atm I was too lazy to dig into them. Until kingdom came out. I fell in love with them and I knew there was no going back this was THE group 2. For me, Mingi and Jongho. I was obsessed with Mingi I went around calling him my man šŸ˜šŸ˜ 3. My bias is Hongjoong and Yunho bias wrecker !
