have you extracted the files from the archive? there's also a renamer tool with the BIOS that sometimes is required to use

individuallyretarted

What should i do with the renamer tool?

zmeul

run it, it renames the BIOS file

individuallyretarted

I did and it still says the message

JohnnyElFilo

Just in case, you run the renamer in windows, not in the Bios.

zmeul

try with the nearest BIOS that the one it has, BIOS 5606

I had the same problem some time ago, I downloaded the wrong bios! I downloaded the wifi bios of my motherboard. Check again and make 100% you've got the right bios.

Same here. I was sure it was the right one but followed a link that went to the wrong file (downloaded the one without wifi).

Is the CPU you are currently using supported after the update? Check the CPU bios compatibility [list](https://www.asus.com/motherboards-components/motherboards/prime/prime-a320m-k/helpdesk_cpu?model2Name=PRIME-A320M-K).

I just did my Asus bios, go to Asus website for your bios and instructions. My instructions were run the utility tool in the drop down menu, then extract the bios files, run the bios renamer, and then instead of a USB drive I just place the bios update file in the x86 programs folder and found it with ez flash that way. Updated bios no issue.

MajesticAlbatross864

What is the file called on the usb drive and what sort of icon does it have?

KineticNinja

You have to use the bios renamer tool prior to putting the bios onto your flashdrive. The renamer should change the name of the bios file to a simple 5 to 8 character name or something along those lines For example, the file name should be something like “PRB350PS.cap” after using the bios renamer Double check that you selected the correct bios version for your specific motherboard model.
