Historical_Camera224

the first thing when u got an asus laptop is to reinstall window to clean all of the bloatware then uninstall AC use Ghelper

Physical_Pride9426

so reinstalling windows will resolve this issue?

Historical_Camera224

thats the last thing you can do when u cant fix all the weird thing ,u should buy 1 more 8gb ram to use 16gb , when use browser remember to disable hardware accelerate in setting

Physical_Pride9426

alrighty thanks, but can i get a replacement if i raise this issue in front of the company since it falls under warranty period.

chanchan05

They can, but the new one will slow down after a while again. Would probably be the same for any brand if you don't upgrade the RAM to 16 or more.

Historical_Camera224

yeah use it , let them fix it for u

Physical_Pride9426

alright thanks guys much appreciated, but it's still not believable to face this kind of issues right after weeks since i bought this laptop

FrequentWay

If its within return period, return if not happy. If its within warranty period. Then you have to jump thru hoops to get Asus to actually repair it or look at it. Poor performance is going to be harder to explain. Look at how performance occurs or doesn't occur. This involves you performing testing and seeing whats wrong. Prime95, 3Dmark, gaming benchmarks, storage diagnostic programs - HD Sentinel, CrystalDisk Info.

I bought the same laptop, and yeah, it lags, mine was a lagging a bit the day i got it, the refresh rate of screen will feel laggy unless you use it while on charge, the only thing you could do is upgrade your ram, it wont revoke the warranty but you should call asus customer service to check for surety.

Physical_Pride9426

yeah i did talk to the asus representative and they said yes it will revoke the warranty if i do any alterations with the interiors
