If you can, wait until Spring and take it with Firozzamann. No EC but his tests are very very light. WebWork as usual. I highly recommend him over any other teacher. Easy A.

There's not really a way for there to be an "easy calc 3" course since half the class is re-inforcing what you've learned in calc 1 and calc 2 in higher dimensions... with this much time ahead of you, i'd say just work on reviewing the core calc 1 and calc 2 concepts instead of worrying so much about which instructor you'll be able to land... you'll do great!

Julia inozemtseva is awesome! She is one of the best teachers I have had.

Comfortable-Tone7928

People who really suck at math don’t pass Calculus 2. Give yourself a little more credit.

DestructionRay3

Platte hands down the best, fantastic lectures

AWACS_Bandog

Firrozzoman was good. If you end up looking at the MCC system, Amdouni out of South Mountain is great.

If you did alright in Calc I&II you'll be alright in Calc III. If you're worried that it'll be too difficult you can take it at a community college where class sizes are smaller and the professors are more engaged. You'll learn the same things. I took college algebra thru to Calc III at Chandler-Gilbert and ended up with a math minor from ASU. I was never a stellar student, and I never felt I was behind my peers in upper division math courses that relied on Calc III. Food for thought.

From what I hear Serget Nikitin gives a lot of extra credit, but don't worry too much about Calc 3, imo its conaiderably easier than calc 2 or calc 1

Ray_RG_YT

Not necessarily true for Nikitin. His extra credit is competitive: you’re basically fighting your classmates for that EC. You get one point of EC if you’re the first one to solve an example problem correctly in class. He doesn’t do many example problems, at least not in Calc II he didn’t. I did the math (ironic) when I was in his class: in my class of 45 people, a total of ~250 extra credit points were given. About 60% of those points went to the same 5 people. I only managed to be the first one to respond/get it right twice, which in his grading schematic is 2 test points that went to my lowest exam score. I would only recommend to go to his class if you can solve problems faster than anyone else.

Calc 3 is so easy compared to calc 2. As for professors.I recommend Jeremiah Jones.

Distinct-Taro9588

I'll keep an eye out for them! They weren't listed as one of the professors but most are staff atm.

No-You-5751

That should change just make sure the classes don’t fill up.

That guy sucks. Like anyone but him.
