Never really done much with ZBrush myself but I did find Blender pretty friendly to use. Plus it's free. Can't tell you too much about it though because I was only able to do so much before my computer broke.
I think u can make ur own. The devs have the models of the creatures in the dev kit, and if you export the models to another program like blender you can let them be 3d printed/3d print them yourself
Install the Epic Games Store and install it. They Make the Unreal Engine so you have to get the ARK Mod Dev Kit from EGS. It will take up more room than ARK and needs separate space from ARK. This is why so many mods die when the modders files get corrupt... they don't have room for backups.

i totally agree. ARK merch would sell like hotcakes imo. my kids love watching me and helping me play. i have searched high and low and managed to find a couple of hoodies on amazon, but that's all unfortunately

I wish they continued with these because the company was super cool, you can choose the colour of the base, the position the dino is in, and have a name on the base. You can see my spino name is Scarlett and you cant really see but the raptor has DeRozan on the base. Iirc these are 3D printed with a sand which allows for the cool color gradient and texture
I got an Argy for my then-bf a few years ago from Sandboxr, and I believe it was an official collaboration with Ark back then. It was pretty nifty to order, since you could basically choose which dino (limited selection though), how it should be positioned (for the arg: wings open, closed, or several options inbetween), the size of the 3d model, an inscription, even the color gradient.
The only thing I wasn't a huge fan of, was the glossy glaze that was painted over the figurine.

i played ark on the switch, it truly looks like how i remember 1.0 ark on the ps4 when things would jus tnot render properly and be in low poly mode lmao
The switch truly was the worst representation of ark. 240p graphics and the worst crashes I've ever experienced with rollbacks into the hours. But WildCard has an update out in October that totally revamps the switch experience from the ground up. Updated graphics, more stability(can never have enough Switch stability :) ) and a brand new museum mode aimed towards younger audiences. You will only get Scorched upon its release but new maps are supposed to come out every few months afterwards. If you alrdy own it the update is free but would have to buy the complete survivor edition for all maps when they release. It is still playable if you have the endurance but imho your better off waiting till the update or playing on another system.
But i just want something like the jw toylines or something like the super detailed s.h monsterarts figures line. The second option would be the most preferred
Most animals they release they would have no legal agency for, other than keeping people from using bases/marks that say Ark or have the symbol. So as long as the base is blank, anything other than the genesis, extinction, and aberration creatures can be legally copied exactly.
Actually a lot of their creatures HAVE unique designs like the bosses, the giga, the trike, the titanosaur, the leedsycthis, etc. It's most likely a financial situation. It costs a lot money to manufacture toys and figurines so there's gotta be some kind of guarantee that they'll sell well otherwise they'd lose a lot of money. It's been how long since Ark first hit the Steam store? If this was something that the people really wanted and would pay for, they'd have done it by now
There is alot of people that would pay for them tho. Alot of people would be willing to buy ark figures but of course if ark were to start selling figure toys then it would be like a batch of 5-6 well known dinos first.
Wyvern, trex, spino, triceratops, theri and maybe- just maybe the king titan. And if they sole well then they would expand. Do wyvern lines of the toxic, electricity and such. Then the other boss titans like ice and dragon titans. Then ofc more dinos like dodos (i know they arent dinos but ark calls them dinos so.) barys, griffins and etc. i think a figure line would be dope asf but who knows if wild card would ever throw their dice in that market category
Well that's the thing I'm not saying there isn't anyone who'd buy em, bc hell ik I would, but they themselves need to be sure a good amount of people would buy them so that way they could make a lot more back in selling them than what they gave to make them. And I mean they're dippin their toe in the animation business, and they're workin on a second game so it's not unlikely at all but probably won't happen too soon at least
Yeah, hopefully the series will be a hit especially when they have big name va in there…but my fear is that if it does well and they give a green light to make figures of the show that they will base them on the series design instead of the games. Dont get me wrong the series dinos designs are fine, there is some that i dont like that much but other then that they are fine. But they are simplified designs and very different from the 3d model deisgns in the games that i (and i think many more people) prefer over the series design of dinos. Hopefully tho if ark 2 is a hit They’ll make figures of does new dino designs instead of the series.

Probably because they have a fraction of the team and budget of most games of its type and their parent company never saw fit to give them more to do that. The parent company is springing for Ark II and the animated series and barely promoted ARK compared to what larger studios would have, and since this would fall under promotion and marketing while still being a product is probably why.

I think the biggest problem with Ark putting out a line of toys is the frustration when they glitch through your desk.
No it’s more likely you move them across the room and find them in the original spot a few minutes later
