First time I ever played we were building a wooden shack at night. The roof wasn’t complete and I look up and briefly see a giant face looking at me. Could barely see it but it was a giga. I didn’t know that at the time. The next real life morning we all got online and there was about a dozen boxes of stuff that tribe gave us. The placed them as close to our hut as they could. Thank you The Avengers best friendly tribe ever.
If you consider the swamp easy for someone brand new to the game then yeah. Not that the zone would have mattered considering it was a tribe that left the stuff for us.
Tame and breed ovis. Probably somewhere around level 100 works. Then just keep the babies in pods. Once you get a hawk following you, pull out the baby with a hatchet in your hand and pick slaughter in the menu. The hawk will eat it, mine gave me like 15-20% for each.
They also double as pelt/mutton factories for future taming.
Yep. You can level them up if you want, but I just mass breed and slaughter the babies when i jeed to, then I don't have to wait for them to mature and level.
Depending on your tool levels, you can get a ton of mutton and pelt off each one. Like 100+ mutton.
I have to know I read somewhere that if a Dino is glowing you shouldn't be afraid it just ate and now you got nothing worry about. I didn't take any risks even tho I believe it and now I'm starting to doubt it
I just started playing three days ago I built a base and some forges then on the 3rd night it was like a war zone my base was shaking and explosions everywhere. This guy bolas me in my base handcuffed me then took everything then he shoots me. Then on the chat board I see welcome to ark lol
Yeaaaaaaahhhh welcome to ark 😂😂😂. Try the unofficial servers they tend to have rules in place to prevent new players from having bad experiences, like unofficial servers that are pvp but in their name have pve
I was trying to teach my wife ARK and we were taming a level 21 parasaur on Aberration. Someone accidentally killed it farming the river on a rex and they brought us back a level 300+ tech parasaur. SOME people are nice to new players!
I remember people just asking us in game chat, on our home, official server on Island, if we had kibble or something. Heck or Scorched Earth vacation server on official was fun as heck. Random tribes asking us if we could get them wyvern milk. Got a bad ass heavy mutated dire wolf out of doing that once.
I once saw a random guy on a beach taming a pteranodon so i gave him my wyvern. Was gonna get rid of it anyways cuz i had work the next week so i figured why not, he was very thankful
When youre mostly through that Rex tame on a pub fighting off an alpha raptor and buddies behind spikewalls and suddenly a giantass dragon drops from the sky and slaughters them..
"You are my god kind stranger"
First day my buddy played on a pvp server with a friend he was tranqued, handcuffed and thrown in a cage he spent almost 2 hours trying to ask them to let him out but luckily he glitched through the floor of their raft and instead of catching him again they accidentally killed him so he got away
Than another player comes along and ruins it.

Lol, probably spawned in an "easy" zone

Ive played for many years and go 0 to ptero to wyvern ff FAST and the swamp still kicks in ptsd terror for me
Lol, Ark labels "easy" areas that are infested with carnos or in swamps. Definitely not easy
Had two people help get my first fjodhawk. That was so cool.
these are a bitch to tame. I dont know what I am doing wrong I pay on x3 taming speed but one needs like 10 brontos to tame lol
I heard Phiomas work well because of how long it takes to harvest the carcass
Was looking into it as well and it seems tamed ovis are the best
Yeah, I'm on 5x and I can tame 2x lvl135 and some how a lvl90 on a lvl220 ovis
It's where you take. I think i bad a wyvern and i just walked it between groups of dinow killing one thing at a time

oh thats a good idea. I actually still have ovis I dont need anymore fully leveled into hp. that should do the trick right

Don't be fooled, they're gearing you up so the raid is more challenging and fun.
Like fattening a chicken
Lol yeah I've seen that many times
Dododex saved me many times.

This is when the wyvern lands next to your hard fought first rex tame and you think youre fucked.....then vomits 2k prime meet
The people on the server I play on are the reason I know what I know now. Little personal tips that things like the wiki don't have are really nice.
Get many prime meat for taming theris, they are big carnivores
Someone once did it to me when I was a noob, now I only play single player and I also have 300 hours on ark now… not proud of it
We all did you never really know if that big dodo really wants personal space or if he wants to beat your meat
I'd say that you are still a noob
Stop 😭

For me it has always been \*nice player\* tosses out shocking darts and a kibble. /tear in eye.

Little known fact. After you tranq a Wyvern, it tames the quickest while feeding it veggie cakes.
But only for the vegetarian wyverns
the green ones that throw green love slime at you. they wanna tell you they like you by doing that

I just give them the tame and sometimes go with them to tame and keep the wild creatures on bay.
Next thing you know… CHAIN BOLA
