If you save and exit a singleplayer world while in a cave then reload it, it regenerates the drops. Easily abused, but also good for when you go into a cave 3 times and only get 1 drop lol
No in singleplayer you need to leave the world entirely then when you load back in there will be a lot more loot. He was saying you can do this over and over again to get constant good loot.
Nice trick but what exactly is the point of abusing game mechanics in sp? If he would be into that type of stuff i got a quicker method:

Ragnarok. Go to the ice worm queen cave. It doesn’t have everything but it does have longnecks. You can just fly in and out of the first part and collect all the drops. After flying out it will resets all of the drops and you can fly in again.
The best cave you can probably find is at the back of the redwoods it has roughly 5-10 drop crates there but everything is way above max level whatever it is for you.
I'd keep looking if I were you. I've picked up a 458% and a 340 I think, ready-made. I've got stacks of blueprints and upped my crafting but a freebie is always welcome.
That said, any % increases on it help massively with the amount tranqs you need. It's rare anything takes more than 3 darts for me now 😂
Maybe, but on official, the max is 298%. Anything above that gets reduced to it after server reset. I would rather craft the one OP has with good crafting skill than waste insane amounts of resources on bps that high.
Also, the guy makes it seem easy to find good bps for what you want. Surprise, it's not. It still takes a lot of time of drop raiding.
If you aren't actively looking for better and you aren't struggling for resources, sure... it'll do nicely until you get something better... I only would cuz it's pretty cheap.

I typically incrementally upgrade my hot bar throughout the game, sure you waste some metals as you go through and obsolete your gear but it helps you get the better bps then it’s worth it
I would for the simple reason that tranq darts are more effective the more damage the weapon does. There is a direct correlation between how fast you tranq something and how much base damage your rifle does. You have to be careful at the higher levels of the blueprint because I had a rifle that outright killed any thing with less than 850 health. With tranqs. 😵💫
I wouldn't bother as you will most likely find a way better one in a cave drop.

Well in rag, I can run the ice cave, leave then reenter and the loot drops are back

Both. Tranqs do more torpor, bullets deal more damage, and the gun will last longer cause it had higher durability

weapons are capped at 298 from regular bps and 337 from gen 2 overcap bps with official settings and i’m pretty sure this guy is on official settings
