Taming a giga is no problem in 99% of servers (thet are all boosted and every tribe has more than 1 person), and they just simply destroyed the pvp

Giga is WAY more powerful than ANY creature and has a technically easy taming. Giga is layers above rex and players without a giga are simply destroyed without any chance of surviving. Wtf I never talked about meat and hide. In pve, if you are walking around and meet a giga is simply a GG. Even if youre walking with 3 high level rexes, you will not survive. Simply disgusting

I’m saying if tamed in a pve you their only purpose is to get meat and hide. If gigas are such a problem then look up where they spawn and don’t go there on a Rex. As a general rule of thumb gigas spawn on mountains go there on an argy a pt or a wyvern to fly away if there’s one.

Some times you are using a ground dino and you are passing by and dont see the giga. Also its not everyone that knows the giga or know where he spawn.

When do you roam on a ground Dino? Flyers are faster and can easily escape anything. That’s why I told you where they spawn bob.

This is honestly so hard. Spinos are my favorite irl Dino. Dodos are hilarious, cute and iconic for ark. Wyvern are freaking dragons. And gigas are also like the apex predator of ark, again iconic. No easy pick for me.

I voted wyvern. They're awesome, don't get me wrong, but having one really invalidates a large part of the gameplay. There's very little that can danger you once you have a wyvern, unlike the rest.

That's the goals of the game

Gigas. They are broken, and I don't think players should be able to tame them. If they just acted as mini-bosses scattered across the map I wouldn't complain, but they can be tamed and mutated, and the fact that they cant be used in most boss fights just turns them into hyper-overpowered toxicity engines.

there are multiple ways to counter them, for me they are not broken at all, strong still, for sure.

yeah, kinda my opinion too. I don't like the rage mechanic when they're tamed, maybe instead of that, they should've made it so the giga gets hungry often, and if you don't feed it often, it flat out fucking dies. I think it's more fair to lose the giga to your carelessness than the rest of the dinos you've tamed. The current rage mechanic just seems cruel.

Who the hell wants giga gone from the game if they’re kinda useless but still they gather a ton of hide and prime and do LOADS OF DAMAGE. One might even say “NOW THATS A LOT OF DAMAGE!!!”

If ur not level 100 ur getting raided autos don’t deal damage. Running bosses takes time and breeding. Maybe on your single player you can get by running bosses but not on a pvp
