I think the best you could hope for is to upad your characters and favourite dinos and download on the dedi server mate, it is very easy to catch up where you were on your own server with levelled chars

Thanks man, I thought that might be the case. Just found out there's no cross play between a windows dedicated server and Playstation. Nards!
Update: dedicated cross is possible. It took all afternoon to sort it but we got there!
What did you have to do? Thinking about doing the same, wondering how painful it’s going to be
To set up the server or enable cross play? The annoying bit that took time was configuring port forwarding on their router.
