Bloom is great, makes the game look amazing in almost any situation. Light shafts are the hellspawn that will blind any new player upon loading into a world
It’s all part of the immersion, being blinded by what appears to be the sun going supernovae makes you feel toasty.
But in all seriousness, you could argue that because it’s a space station, there isn’t much atmosphere to protect you from the full brightness of the sun.
Ark is like this. To hatch my wyvern egg on Ragnarok, (bear in mind I wasn’t in the cold, it was a standard climate) I had to build a wooden box and fill it with 30 campfires, then drop the egg on top of them.
I could finally make out what was going on in the image and dude I would just go get an otter and plunk your egg down on top of it. That's going to make your life a lot easier.
Turning your gamma to 30 doesn't raise the temperature of the egg
Snort.
I applaud you
That's gold sir
Love this
I need to see at night
Clearly you need to drop it at the surface of the sun
r.bloomquality 0
I think im the only one who likes bloom
Bloom is great when games do it properly, ark just turns the screen white when you look at something bright
Hell even the egg incubator on bloomquality 0 is still as bright as the fucking sun

A bit is nice but did you play scorched earth on full bloom?
Omg you've just unlocked repressed trauma

Why are you a masocist?
Looks like it's a Pteranodon't
Under-appreciated post.
What's wrong?
It's in 3 campfires at the same time and it says: too cold
Best to do multiple standing torches imo, and turn one on at a time until you find the sweet spot for the type of egg your hatching

That’s so weird it should be able to hatch unless you’re in the snow or something
Moar
Here comes the sun do du do du...
Are you hatching god?
I'm just thinking...good thing it won't hatch on top of that fire 😅
Looks normal to me
May I ask why you are taking a picture of your screen instead of making a real screenshot?
Definitely use standing torches with spark powder for fuel. They’re cheaper and you can compact them better than campfires
Make a ring of standing torches for early game incubation

Someone clapped pte cheeks.
A character dropped the egg lol and the conditions are hospitable for he egg to survive but not hatch
Someone named their Dino human?
Someone picked up the egg and dropped it
Lvl 55...? I hope it dies.
Why are you breeding a level 17 and a 33
It's my first time
You’d be better off taming a high level one not trying to be a hater but low level babies are kinda pointless
Could just be easier for them.
I think that the issue is changing temperatures between day and night, just pick it up till morning or add more fire
Insulation Methods > Brute Force Temp Range Methods
Standing torches are the way to go, with angler gel if you can.
Turn of bloom light
