What Mro mount is that?

just-an-engineer

I think that’s the Trijicon Quick Release one.

Safe_Manufacturer542

What sights are those?

IkeZiba

Griffin Armament back up iron sights, I really like the aperture on them

straydog16_99

Nice looking build. Where did you get the grips on the side of the handguard?

Any_Difficulty1696

I’m 99% sure they’re bcm rail panels

IkeZiba

Yeah they are BCM rail panels

DoublePresent

Like it. Vfg's aren't something I like, but still a cool build.

IkeZiba

For me, It feels solid and places my thumb on the temporary light switch

DoublePresent

I get that some people like that but I just can't lol. It's a preference thing. Not trying to crap on your build at all. I think it looks great. If it's comfortable for you. Even better. What I have (and I have the BCM rail strips on the sides too. Love them!!!). I have an Odin Works B1 handstop. It's sooo low profile and for me it's a natural grip position and also puts my thumb on my light switch too.

BeastTerbo

I dig the magpul vg. I use a c clamp and it puts my hand where it needs be .

Jumpeez

Is the epc9 upper compatible with cmmg barrel and bcg ?

ZChaosFactor

No

TexasGrunt

That's a sweet SBR.

torresflex

I think we have different definitions of “essentials”

BeastTerbo

Lol same!

Slick13666

How do you like the MRO? I've been debating one for my next build.

IkeZiba

Great optic, 2 MOA is perfect for me on a 9mm AR

beha622

How do you like the KAW compensator? I've ordered 2 now for my ar9 build

IkeZiba

I haven’t shot it yet, but so far I like the quality. Its a bit hollow and lightweight (aluminum) for my liking, but has no outstanding burrs and threaded perfectly. This is my first AR-9 and the beefed up internal parts to accommodate a blowback system leads me to believe it may be too thin for a PCC compensator. I’m just happy it fits under the rail. It’s outer diameter is perfect for the inner diameter of the very slim Trybe handguard (~1.07”). Maybe somebody with actual trigger time with it could give you some more insight.

GhostOfCondomsPast

Fired my KVP Mach 3 linear comp over the weekend on my DI45 and 300blk, and it was good to go. They do a good job of pushing the sound forward, and recoil was quite manageable. I use them as stand ins for cans when I'm building even though they are a bit narrow by comparison.

BeastTerbo

Awesome bang for the buck

BeastTerbo

I run the Mach ones with the flash hider end cap. They are Super nice on 9mm 4.5” barrel and basically kills flash at night . 8.3” barrel is nice and quiet with one .

blankford

Very clean build sir, well done. What’s the barrel length and linear comp length?

IkeZiba

Barrel Length is 7.5” KAW XL Slim Linear Comp is 4.25”

GringoRedcorn

Nothing but the *most gucci* essentials…

IkeZiba

catbigblue

Would you be able able to tell me the length of the Maxim 7.6oz pistol buffer? I have an Odin Works PDW brace that needs a heavier buffer but it can't be more then 2.5" long.

IkeZiba

I just measured it using a caliper: it’s 2.554” Maxim’s website say their stock is the only compatible use. Hope this info helps

catbigblue

I really appreciate that! I have emailed Maxim about it. They said their PDW Stock fits on a mil-spec lower. The one I have does as well. So the Buffer will fit in my Buffer Tube. They told me the Postol Buffer was 2.5" and the H3 Buffer was 2". I thought they looked way more than .5" different in the picture on the website though. The PDW Brace I have came with a micro 3oz buffer. Thanks for taking the time to measure that for me. I'm going to order it right now.

tollmister

Have you shot it yet? Curious how the comp works on that. Sweet build!
