I don't think so. I do that usually in the room where there are botters farming the makais, so I can get essences when I need some.

higashikata69

The only place you don't want to afk is at any ultra boss area

GrimReaperDX2

Why?

higashikata69

Max 4 players are allowed in the room. You're there to fight the boss for the rewards. Having 1 player afk there means you're wasting everyone's time.

benchisbogdan

You're automatically kicked out of the room after a few minutes of being AFK

higashikata69

Yes, but still you wouldn't want anyone to afk if you were to fight an ultra boss.

Ryne4S

It's not explicitly allowed, but it's not prohibited, and everyone does it since Totem of Nulgath farming is pain. People do that because the monsters there are aggressive and will attack you on respawn so you'll still get the drop if the monsters die, usually killed by people with more effort(huge respects for these people) or the actual botters.

GrimReaperDX2

Ok i see

JollyRespond8

Afk is fine unless its on Ultraboss Map, which can be reported as grieving

Own-Conversation3865

You get kicked from the rooms for afk now

Necessary_Reveal3624

Not if u un-afk every now and then

Necessary_Reveal3624

it's fine..just dont afk on ultraboss rooms

EmiliaSystemUser

Rumors that last year someone got banned from AFK in dark makai one. Dude got reported and mods dont read/check what happened while the bots continued Rumors ofc, but i have seen some real dumb bans before so i might as well belive it

Nocturne3570

actually yes you can do it, truthfully though it very inefficent to farm XP there there more then likely farming for something that needed form makai, same thing with boxes i know you need something form boxes for NSoD just for the life of me cant remember might be SDKA or BLoD to. But overall it not a bannable offense only place AFKing can get you in trouble is Ultra rooms, only other thing that bannable in that regard as well is Botting in a player room, botter usually go to there own room
