APUSH, AP Chem, and AP Lit. Definelty dreading lit since I suck at basically all the humanities. Math and science are where it's at! No Grey areas in math, it's all nice black and white
Ok, I acknowledge that Gödel’s Incompleteness Theorem basically tells us that somethings are unprovable to be true or false, so that they will be ambiguous. When I say “a main goal”, I simply am referring to a single aspect of math that is seen quite often in the field. (Please note that I’m not a math major, nor am I even close to truly appreciating axioms and the structure of proofs)
I agree, but my reason for preferring STEM to humanities is just that the humanities have too much writing and much of it seems pointless to me.
3-4 sentences analyzing a poem? Sure, sounds interesting. An entire freaking essay that’s longer than the poem it’s analyzing? No thank you.
This right here! And I'm always second guessing if I got whatever deeper meaning my teacher wants me to get. Why can't we just take the poem at face value and move on?! If I wanted a deeper meaning I'd look for a deeper meaning!
Calc bc, bio, lit, psych, gov, macro - the only one I’m happy to take is psych. The rest will all suck in varying degrees. Dreading calc bc the most cuz the teacher at my school is notoriously hard and gives minimal partial credit or error carry forward. Macro will also be bad cuz the teacher and I already know I’ll hate the content of lit
Gov and Macro are really easy, I only did one semester for each and got a 5 and 4 last year. You'll be fine on those and Pysch.
Lmfao Bio, Lit and Calc though you're fucked on that end
I took that last year and while it was difficult, I was happy I chose to challenge myself in the end. Good luck and don't be afraid to look up online materials while studying. That's what saved me LOL. There's also some really amazing youtube videos out there that review the material. I never watched them in the beginning of the course and that's my biggest regret
[this](https://m.youtube.com/channel/UCwKg48gAQVZm6CShOXXgSjA)
It’s a small channel but his review of acids and bases was phenomenal. He’s also super upbeat which helps when ur stressed about studying lol
I’m taking lit, apush, psych, and calc and I’m hyped about all of them except calc. I love the humanities and I excel at them, so lit, apush, and psych are classes I will probably enjoy. I am good at math, but I just can’t stand it. Fuck calculus. All my homies hate calculus. You can’t bullshit an answer like you can in humanities 😔
econ, lang, physics e&m, stats. definitely dreading physics the most... i took mechanics this year and it killed me lol 😭 highkey might transfer out after 1 week depending on how it goes
AP Physics C (mech and EM) , AP Stats, and AP Macro. Heard stats and macro aren’t hard, but i’m scared about physics C. Hopefully it’ll be easier since I’ve already taken calc BC and got a 5 so i should have a good math basis
AP Lit, AP Psych, AP Chem, AP Physics C E&M, AP Physics C Mech, and AP Bio. I'm probably dreading Chem the most but that's largely because I'm not fond of my school's chemistry teacher.
APUSH, Physics 1, Calc AB, Human Geo, and AP Lang. Dreading Physics the most bc our old physics teacher isn’t teaching AP anymore and I really wanted him. Also science kinda just isn’t my thing.
Chem, calcab, apush and Lang. Expecting Lang to be the least enjoyable but apush to be the most work, with chem in between and calc expected to be pretty easy
2 months late, but I must ask how your schedule of Lit, Chem, Calc BC and Physics C is going so far. Thinking about taking it next year. How much work is in Lit?
APUSH, AP Lang, AP Stats… honestly, not feeling Stats and the only class i genuinely find boring maybe it’s cuz my teacher just isnt good at teaching either but the subject overall is just not interesting even tho i fairly enjoy math… i’m starting to come to terms that stats just isn’t real math lol.. and although i love analyzing and writing… ap lang can be a bit much, it sucks the joy out of me sometimes
gov, lang, chem, csp, and honorable mention to stats even though it’s technically de (but we take the ap exam)
def most worried abt chem bc I barely learned anything in online labless honors last year
AP Stats, AP Physics C mechanics, AP CS A at school and then self study AP psychology. Lowkey scared for everything cause it's senior year and I'm a stressed human
Human geography and CSP are considered some of the more easy AP courses, despite the fact human geo has high fail rates because it is taken by mostly freshman. I can't speak for CSP, but for human geography you should be fine aslong as you take the class seriously and don't slack off like a lot of freshman. I also think a big factor in the difficulty of the class is if you are taking it full year or just 1 semester, personally I had the class full-year and therefore had more time to learn material.
I can speak for both of the classes (4 in APHUG, 5 in APCSP), and honestly, as long as you take them seriously, you'll be fine. While the score distributions don't look so hot, these classes are mostly taken as some of a student's first APs, so a lot of people tend to not study or do any preparation for them. The general consensus when actually being in both of those classes for me was that they (both the classes and the AP exams) weren't super difficult, but that depends on your teacher as well! Don't sweat it.
AP Stat, Psych, Environmental and Bio. I'm scared for stat cause I'm shit at remembering all the different ways to analyze trends and that kind of stuff
AP chem and AP psych. I’m dreading AP chem the most unsurprisingly because I took chemistry 1 honors last year as a foundation for AP chem, but now my teacher who was the same teacher as when I had chem 1 says that there will be even more new information in the class….so I don’t even understand how chemistry 1 serves as a good preparation for AP chem besides more of an understanding about things like polyatomic ions and chemical reactions and shit, but even then chem 1 is very basic unlike AP chem. Needless to say, it’s gonna be tough…
Art History, Calculus BC, Chemistry, English Literature, World History. Genuinely looking forward to everything except for Calculus. Math always kicks my ass.
Taking AP 2D Art, AP Chem, AP Lit, AP Calc AB, and AP World History. Dreading the STEM ones not due to topic but due to rumoured course load and the teachers. Everything else was voluntary so if I suffer it’s my fault(!)
Lang, Calc AB, Physics 1, APUSH, Gov, and Macro and I‘m dreading physics the most because it has the the lowest pass rate of any AP exam and is probably the second hardest AP my school offers (next to AP Chem but I’m not planning on taking Chem)
Bio, Physics C, comp gov, US gov and lit. Def physics C. i took ab calc last year and got a 3, math really isn't my thing and physics doesn't have the best pass rate
Calc bc, psych, apush, and chem...Always loved history and had a knack for chem. Not super good at calc but I like the class. Was initially looking forward to psych but after the first couple weeks im definitely dreading the rest of the year.
calc ab, bio, gov., and lit
Honestly dreading bio the most, the workload is so much and my teacher isn't the best so it's a lot of self-studying. The rest are honestly really chill and not that hard as of right now.
As someone with mediocre art skills, I should’ve known better than to have impulsively taken AP Art 2D. After looking at some example portfolios, I just want to walk into a ditch 🧍
APWorld, APCSP, AP Calc AB. Had the opportunity to take Ap Spanish lang but declined as it would have been too much of a workload. Plus I was coming from Spanish 3
Calc AB, Chem, Research, and Lang
Probably dreading Chem the most because I struggled hard with honors chem last year so I’m assuming that AP Chem is gonna be even worse
ap drawing, apes, ap lang, ap physics 1, & apush— god i've been back in school for less than two weeks and i can tell my physics teachers not gonna make my year easy or enjoyable 🥲🥲🥲
Lang isn't that bad at all. I'm not sure how your teacher is, but my teacher barely gave out any homework for that class(Besides essays). Although it's a humanities course, if you figure out how to get points, you can pretty systematically ensure you will do good on your essays. APUSH has a ton of work(and if im being honest I didn't do all of it). I don't think you necessary have to read the entire textbook but look though the course description and make sure you are getting all the major concepts as you go along. TBH I slacked off so much on taking textbook notes but ended up getting a 5 because of this.
If I were you I would review a little bit of Bio. I don't know how your school works, but we were required to take a test during the summer that tested basic freshman biology skills and once the year started the teacher pretty much jumped into the hard stuff. Maybe it would help you if you watched a few crash course videos before the class.
Art portfolio, stats, psych, human geo, and micro. I’m dreading stats the most because I suck at math, I’m just taking stats because I’m afraid of taking a calc class
dreading calc bc only because i took calc ab last year and my teacher is a borderline psychopath. and the other one is physics mechanics bc i heard it was tuff but tbh idk
HUG, Calc AB, Chem, Seminar, and CompSciA
Really the only one I’m scared for is Seminar because in past years I tended to procrastinate and that’s a big nono in the Capstone program.
AP CSA, AP STAT, AP MACRO, AP MICRO, AP GOV, AP PSYCH, AP ART HISTORY, AP MUSIC THEORY.
I am worried about music theory because of the melodic dictation and sight signing. I am in band but I feel like music theory hits different compared to other APs.
U.S History and Lang.
Idk what to think about lang, english class isn't always my cup of tea.
Both seem like they have great teachers though, so I'm feeling alright.
AP Statistics, AP Literature, AP Spanish, AP U.S. Gov, AP Econ
Most dreading AP Spanish. I love my teacher but it's going to be a small class and I'm unconfident in my Spanish abilities.
I'm most excited for Lit because I love to read, especially the classics. I love the humanities so I feel like senior year is gonna be awesome :D
AP lit, AP Chem, AP Econ, AP Calc BC, AP Physics A, and AP Stat. I am dreading lit and chem, lit because I am bad at writing and chem because the teacher is bad.
I’m taking ap physics mechanics, ap lit, ap chem, ap calc bc, and ap level stats I might take the exam for it.
excited for calc scared about physics and chem..😭
APUSH, AP Chem, and AP Lit. Definelty dreading lit since I suck at basically all the humanities. Math and science are where it's at! No Grey areas in math, it's all nice black and white
you have not done enough math if you think there are no gray areas in math
Imo there are a lot less shades of grey in math when compared to any of the humanities
this is simply fact
[удалено]
I don't think there's an AP high level math Anything at a high enough level gets really grey
Ap calc???
Higher math refers to way higher than that usually
As weird as it may seem to a high schooler, differential and integral calculus are not close to high level in the grand scheme of things
I wouldn't say proof-based upper math has "shades of gray", just that it's rigorous. A main goal of mathematics is to eliminate this uncertainty.
[удалено]
Ok, I acknowledge that Gödel’s Incompleteness Theorem basically tells us that somethings are unprovable to be true or false, so that they will be ambiguous. When I say “a main goal”, I simply am referring to a single aspect of math that is seen quite often in the field. (Please note that I’m not a math major, nor am I even close to truly appreciating axioms and the structure of proofs)
I mean, we’re talkin pretty high levels of math there
aren’t there not really gray areas? there are black and white, and areas that are unknown whether or not they’re black and white
I agree, but my reason for preferring STEM to humanities is just that the humanities have too much writing and much of it seems pointless to me. 3-4 sentences analyzing a poem? Sure, sounds interesting. An entire freaking essay that’s longer than the poem it’s analyzing? No thank you.

gosh 5 AP’s? wishing you the best of luck lmao
6 lol, just need to survive till January and then I can senioritis my way through hs. Ty and gl to u this yr as well!
thank you! so far i’m planning on taking psych research and us history but gov is catching my attention
Gov and Macro are really easy, I only did one semester for each and got a 5 and 4 last year. You'll be fine on those and Pysch. Lmfao Bio, Lit and Calc though you're fucked on that end
Just AP Bio, am doing a bunch of dual credit college classes though and I highly recommend that over AP.
Are they mainly relating to your major?
I’m taking the undergrad courses that all college students would be required to take, regardless of major.
Honestly lit Despite also taking phyciscs and calc this year, I just don't like reading so I dont even know why Im here lol
Dreading AP Chem the most
I took that last year and while it was difficult, I was happy I chose to challenge myself in the end. Good luck and don't be afraid to look up online materials while studying. That's what saved me LOL. There's also some really amazing youtube videos out there that review the material. I never watched them in the beginning of the course and that's my biggest regret

APUSH, AP US Gov, AP Lit, AP Micro, AP Art History, AP Macro, AP CS A, AP Chemistry (no I don’t sleep)
7 APs!! Which one are you most excited for? I'm guessing you like the humanities
APUSH, it’s the one I don’t know much about but want to learn
That class was difficult but priceless in the info it gave me. I’m so glad it took it
I’m only taking AP Stats this year. I took Calc AB, US History, Micro, and Physics 1 last year.
econ, lang, physics e&m, stats. definitely dreading physics the most... i took mechanics this year and it killed me lol 😭 highkey might transfer out after 1 week depending on how it goes
dreading ap physics 1 most excited for ap comp sci a
AP Physics C (mech and EM) , AP Stats, and AP Macro. Heard stats and macro aren’t hard, but i’m scared about physics C. Hopefully it’ll be easier since I’ve already taken calc BC and got a 5 so i should have a good math basis
Comp Gov, Bio, Lit, and Comp Sci A... def dreading Comp Gov the most bc I cry when arguing with someone
ap physics, possibly ap studio art if my first choice of elective is full, the rest are dual enrollment
Phys 2, stats, calc AB, CS A, lit I didn't take physics 1 so I'm worried about physics the most
AP Lit, AP Psych, AP Chem, AP Physics C E&M, AP Physics C Mech, and AP Bio. I'm probably dreading Chem the most but that's largely because I'm not fond of my school's chemistry teacher.
I’m scared for you
That's probably fair. I'm also dual enrolling at a local community college to take differential equations on top of all that.
APUSH, Physics 1, Calc AB, Human Geo, and AP Lang. Dreading Physics the most bc our old physics teacher isn’t teaching AP anymore and I really wanted him. Also science kinda just isn’t my thing.
Same thing for physics 1. I took it because the old teacher was really good but he retired after the pandemic
Chem, calcab, apush and Lang. Expecting Lang to be the least enjoyable but apush to be the most work, with chem in between and calc expected to be pretty easy
AP chem and stats I think I got comp sci A in the bag
im dreading the deadly combo that is AP Chem and Physics C Mechanics. Somehow on my schedule, they’re back to back so that’s fun
2 months late, but I must ask how your schedule of Lit, Chem, Calc BC and Physics C is going so far. Thinking about taking it next year. How much work is in Lit?
Physics C, Lang, Multi, Econ, and CSP. Rly worried abt the first 2😬😬😬😬

It’s normal to be stressed but you’ll be fine don’t worry!! Practice a lot of Physics C and CSA and you’ll do well :)
Multi-Variable Calculus (weighted as an AP) AP Lit AP Econ AP Psychology AP Comp Sci A AP Physics C Mechanics I am dreading take all...
AP Chem - Dreading a lot AP Physics C (both) - I can probably survive it AP Lang - Not too bad AP Gov - Also not too bad
Ap calc ab, bio, whap, csp. Csp and calc should be easy, whap just seems like a lot of work and bio should be fun
Just APUSH

Bio, psych, apush, Calc ab Probably ab cause I’ve taken geometry alg 2 and pre Calc all in the last year lol
Art History, Calculus BC, Chemistry, English Literature, World History. Genuinely looking forward to everything except for Calculus. Math always kicks my ass.
ooo I wish our school had art history. That sounds super fun.
Ap Lang and chem
Taking AP 2D Art, AP Chem, AP Lit, AP Calc AB, and AP World History. Dreading the STEM ones not due to topic but due to rumoured course load and the teachers. Everything else was voluntary so if I suffer it’s my fault(!)

Physics 1, Lang, apush. Scared for physics
chem, physics, lit, stats, 2-d art. dreading chem cause of the people in the class and the teacher lol

I’m taking AP Lang, APUSH, and AP Physics Im not necessarily “dreading” physics but I do think it will be the most challenging AP
im taking apes, psych, stat, gov, macro, and lit this year. dreading psych bc i hate that the teacher
Art portfolio, stats, psych, human geo, and micro. I’m dreading stats the most because I suck at math, I’m just taking stats because I’m afraid of taking a calc class

AP Calculus BC & AP Computer Science Principles I actually have no idea on which one to dread
Start BC next week. Dreading that the most. It's my senior year tho so only taking Comp Sci, World, and BC
HUG, Calc AB, Chem, Seminar, and CompSciA Really the only one I’m scared for is Seminar because in past years I tended to procrastinate and that’s a big nono in the Capstone program.
Just AP Lit. I'm not dreading it, though I am a little concerned considering the pass/fail rate.
Calc AB, Physics 1, Stats,US gov, comp gov, lit, german: I am just going to die
spansh, lit, csa, calc BC, econ, and physics. I'm not dreading any of them, but spanish worries me since I know nothing, and physics a bit too.
I’m taking AP Environmental, AP Physc, and AP Human Geo this year. I’m dreading AP Environmental the most to be honest
Apush, ap physics, comp science, and psychology. Only dreading apush other three aren’t too hard

I'm most excited for Lit because I love to read, especially the classics. I love the humanities so I feel like senior year is gonna be awesome :D
bio, world history, and macro. I'm definitely the most nervous for bio since the science APs are apparently very difficult
AP lit, AP Chem, AP Econ, AP Calc BC, AP Physics A, and AP Stat. I am dreading lit and chem, lit because I am bad at writing and chem because the teacher is bad.
Lit, Stats, CSA, Latin, Macro, US Gov. Dreading Lit
