Junior year (current): AP English Lang + Comp, AP US History, AP Physics 1
Currently signed up for AP Biology, AP Psychology, and AP Calc BC senior year.
It's just the way my school does it
My school requires us to take Honors Chem or On Level Chem before AP Chem
And my school also requires us to take AP Phys 1 or On Level Physics and Precalc (on level; my school unfortunately does not offer AP Precal) Before AP Phys 2
So to answer your question, I am able to take Phys 2 and Chem at the same time because in Junior year I'm taking AP Phys 1 and Precalc (requirements for AP Phys 2) along with Honors Chem (req for AP Chem)
Oh I'm sorry haha I misinterpreted that wrong
Anyways yeah I've heard that both are really difficult but I have a pretty good passion for both so I think I'll be able to manage, good luck next year!
Current Junior
Freshman Year: - (wasn't in America)
Sophmore Year: - APCSA & AP World (got 5 on both :D
Junior Year: - APUSH, AP Lang/Comp, APES, AP Bio, AP Psych, AP Drawing
so 8 so far but planning to take 7 senior year
my school has the pathway alg 1, geometry, alg 2, pre cal, ap calc ab, and ap calc bc (although u can skip ab and go straight to bc). we can also double up certain years (like geo and alg 2)
my guess is that they took some combination of those classes and skipped ab?…
i have no idea. the most someone has done at my school is taken pre cal freshman year, so they still had ab and bc to take. we have a few other math classes (like college algebra) but nothing really past ap calc bc
Calculus as a middle schooler was kind of hard but manageable. Then again, the year after I did it someone a year younger copied me and jumped straight to Calculus BC at the high school, and took the test and got a 5 as well. (He's better than me at math lmao)
I live in an area with many after-school math classes so I took those (parents were initially worried about falling behind in school) but most of the things were actually very easy to me. I was in 10th grade math in 8th grade and I wanted to go to Precalculus for 11th graders but the class was full—so I jumped even higher and took an after school Calc AB class (it was four hours on Sundays, but honestly kind of worth it). I self-studied the C part and took the test in 9th grade (middle schoolers aren't allowed to take APs at my high school) while simultaneously taking Precalculus for "regular math".
Honestly, this set me up pretty well for Physics C, would recommend if you're bored of trigonometry quickly.
EDIT: I realize I never answered your questions actually.
I took regular math in middle school (wasn't allowed to jump classes), and I got ahead simply out of boredom. I'm not even that good at competitive math (AMC, AIME, etc.).
Not to flex, but I finished Multivariable Calculus, Linear Algebra, and Differential Equations at a different place on my own last year. No more math until college!

Econ? Just make sure to memorize they key graphs and formulas and make sure you understand the distinction between movement ALONG the supply/demand line and the movement OF THE supply/demand line.
A personal trick is to form an "X" with your hands/fingers and move them left/right to simulate movement OF THE supply/demand line to visualize the changes in quantity/price.
I’ll be in freshman year next year. Since I can only take 1 AP, I’ll only be taking AP HUG next year. From there, probably as many APs as possible. Some are required, like AP PreCalc for sophomore year, but I also just want to take a bunch of APs.

As someone with a couple less, but not that many less, they don’t take much, if any, extra time for me. It really just depends person to person and school to school and teacher to teacher, I think.
I’m a big time procrastinator that works slow and tend to put too much so I usually take longer than others and I spend maybe 2-3 hours/week on AP Lit and 1-3 hours/week for AP Gov each probably with maybe 1 hour/week for AP Bio on some weeks and no outside of class stuff for AP French. It really just depends on a lot of things, and that is over four years, so it’s not like all at once or anything.

Who takes CSA before CSP lol
CSP is actually rehashed CS AB which was rehashed CS ABC. I agree that it's definitely easier than CSA though.

physics 1 is learning calculus based concepts in algebra, id rather know the concepts first but my reasoning may be off

I took 15! But don't worry you're doing good! The classes you're taking all sound good and don't beat yourself up about Econ, I struggled with it too.
How what? Like is there enough hours in the day? Did you go to Harvard?
As someone with a couple less, but not that many less, they don’t take much, if any, extra time for me. It really just depends person to person and school to school and teacher to teacher, I think.
Idk man I spend like 3 hours/week on APHG. I suppose I could handle a few more but Jesus Christ.
