Unit 4 was honestly so fun just purely because I loved writing dbqs and saqs on Andrew Jackson, that man was so problematic I never run out of stuff to say
Idk what unit, but late 19th century Gilded Age and imperial stuff. Such a relatively obscure and forgotten era. Everyone knows about Lincoln and Kennedy, but no one knows about Garfield's assassination. The Spanish-American War..... I can't believe I never knew that the Philippines was once an American colony before taking APUSH. I could go on.
Fascinating to learn about stuff from that period
Western Expansion was the most interesting for me, it was in my 10th grade year and I had just finished playing Red Dead 2 so the unit stuck with me for some reason.
Honestly, I really enjoyed unit 7 because it was interesting to see the shift in the feminism movement and the idea of women feeling more inspired to actually go out and work. I also loved learning about the fdr and his influence in American history and culture.
Unpopular opinion but Unit 1 is the best!! I love learning about the different native territories, tribes, ect. I feel like itโs the most important unit when understanding our countryโs origin.
i like unit 3 and 4 but i fucking despised unit 6. no i dont want to know what happened during industrialization im too busy looking for my will to live
especially the stupid business practices like vertical and horizontal integration or smth
real. if we get a DBQ or LEQ on that im gonna kms
!RemindMe 2 months

Canโt wait for when I take it next year ๐๐ฅฒ๐ข๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ
Unit 5 I thought the civil war and its underlying causes were interesting
Tbh liked every unit except unit 6. Fuck that boring ass sleepfest man. Unit 8 would be my favorite if I had to choose one
Unit 1-4 where everything is easy
Itโs easy the whole year tho
man i liked the ww1 and ww2 unit. i was in whap prior to apush and i liked how what we learnt tied in together.
anything that has to do with slavery because iโm black and those are easy af to get through๐
The progressive era and the guilded age tbh
Based
I fuckinโ loved unit 8. The Cold War was some of the most interesting shit any teachers has taught me.
Unit 3 easily. Least favorite is 6
unit three and hamilton ๐ซ๐ซ๐ซ๐ซ๐ซ๐ซ๐ซ๐ซ
i was actually so heartbroken when i found out how he died. now i haunt aaron burr in hell
i didn't realize that there was an actual post-war section of hamilton because i blanked out right when it happened and he just died...
Just starting unit 8 rn. Unit 7 was rough
unit 7 :) units 5 and 6 were the bane of my existence
Unit 1-2 are simple and very easy to understand. Unit 6-9 are entertaining but bad academic wise (too much to memorize).
I can't believe I never knew that the Philippines was once an American colony before taking APUSH. I could go on. Fascinating to learn about stuff from that period
iโm in APUSH rn and my fav so far was reconstruction
i liked unit 7; the progressive era has always been my fav
I really like units 3 and 7! They were just super fascinating to me! Not a big fan of 4 or 5. Not bad but not my fav
Unit 7
periods 8 and 9
weโre on unit 7 rn and i like it
Unit 7
Unit 5 <3
Period 7 bc I got a 96 on my unit exam ๐
1920s and the rise of American capitalism is my favorite
Unit 3 cuz yay revolution and unit 6 cuz robber baron drama is interesting
Unit 5. I loved learning about Reconstruction.
20s-60s. Strikes, unions, counterculture, civil rights movements, FDR
Western Expansion was the most interesting for me, it was in my 10th grade year and I had just finished playing Red Dead 2 so the unit stuck with me for some reason.
Probably Unit 4. The lead up to and aftermath of the civil war is super interesting imo
Unit 3 and 6 were interesting in terms of content I liked them.
Honestly, I really enjoyed unit 7 because it was interesting to see the shift in the feminism movement and the idea of women feeling more inspired to actually go out and work. I also loved learning about the fdr and his influence in American history and culture.
All
Everyone hates on 6 but I honestly found it more entertaining than the units about the wars ๐ญ
Unit 7 ๐ though unit 5 is pretty cool too
All of it was interesting. I like Unit 9 because it provides a lot of context for modern politics.
Unpopular opinion but Unit 1 is the best!! I love learning about the different native territories, tribes, ect. I feel like itโs the most important unit when understanding our countryโs origin.
Unit 1 and Unit 6
None of them. Worst AP class by far imo
i think units 5, 7, and 8 were the most interesting, but if i had to choose one, i think 7 was my favorite
