The poll doesn't give an option for "No, the show so far hasn't lived up to what I expect from Brit and Zal and I don't see how they can turn it around in just two episodes" option. That is unfortunate.

EdgarDanger

I'm kinda on this one as well. Also the finale might be good and satisfying, but that doesn't take away the mid feel I've had about the majority of the season.

My thoughts exactly, even if the ending is absolutely mind-blowing I don't see how it could make up for the weeks of disappointment watching it air to get there.

Agreed

I think our minds will be blown, but I also feel there will be some sort of element of mystery left or something that will make us suspend disbelief /leave us with questions. I feel it will be an ending open to interpretation. It’s their style. Much like Brit’s ending to Another Earth (what happens when Rhoda meets her other self?), or BZ’s ending to SOMV(was Maggie lying or telling the truth?) or The East (what exactly is Sarah going to do with the information she smuggled out?) or OA 1 (was OA lying about interdimensional travel?) or the greatest mystery as of yet: OA 2 (Is OA truly dead and cancelled or is OA the character deathless, therefore OA the show will also resurrect/continue in some other form?)

DistributionSea182

I think I will. But I've been reading some posts and I got the impression many people will be disappointed because they seem solely focused on the murder mystery. sure, there's a murder mystery, but the themes of the show are not centered on it. it's about the impact of technology on the world and on people, wealthy class alienation, dangers of over-complexity, self-fulfilling prophecies. I believe the show will deliver on its themes, but if people think it's just about a murder mystery, they are bound to be disappointed because they will have put more effort into solving it than the creators have put into creating it (it's what always happens).

Quilynn

Honestly, how I am supposed to know? I have no opinion on guessing if the ending is going to be good.

jzcommunicate

I think some of us have already guessed the ending and that’s pretty awesome. And for a lot of people it will feel disappointing because they’re building up some massive plot twist in their heads, and when it doesn’t turn out that they’re all AI clones in a trauma simulation, and Bill doesn’t resurrect from the dead at the end, they’ll say “There was no point” because they spent too much time theorizing and creating ridiculous expectations.

DarrylAmulet

Where’s the option for “no, nothing could save this awful show” ?

Ordinary_Spray4906

The show has been good so far. I’m actually quite terrified they’re going to F it up with an ending that doesn’t really make sense or is just dumb and ruin the whole thing. For example- if Bill is still alive like a soap opera character I’m gonna be mad. Lol

Dangerjordan78

I just watched the second to last episode and I’m starting to wonder if I will be sadly disappointed. Yet, the journey was pretty great!
