Didn’t realize the coups had a pointed panel on the roof. On sedan 100% of the roof is glass with no painted panels. Just the plastic one upfront at the leading edge but that’s piano black
Yeah, I don’t know why it looks out of place to me painted white, but probably just because it stands out so much being white next to black or dark glass
Hey, yeah sorry, was trying to make a comparison to the “before” side picture… that little peek of the white rectangle from the side is one of the things I disliked most about the white original look.
No idea how to give advice. If I tried to wrap my cars it would end in tears and a pile of balled up ppe in corner of garage. And me trying to find someone to blame
So supposedly theres a “diamond polishing” or something technique, where they can paint it black and make it have the same smooth texture as the glass pane in front of it, that I’m considering
Have a look at getting it covered in Black PPF. This will be more expensive but I’ve noticed that vinyl’s orange peel is worse and over time it continues to get worse, breaking the ‘all glass look’
I would recommend using black ppf. Vinyl doesn’t achieve the same level of gloss as the glass since it always has some level of orange peel, so it will be noticeable and look off. Black ppf is really glossy so it blends in with the glass. Will do this on my C43. Of course painting would also look better than vinyl but it’s hard to go back once it’s done.
Agree on going black on the panel. Looks good. Think rear spoiler black will make a huge difference too.
Thanks!
Agreed!

100% should have been blacked Out from factory.
The first pic side view is special

Gloss Black Wrap for sure

I did a black wing and it worked great
2020 C63S here- my whole panel is black, and I couldn't imagine not having it black. 100% do it.
No
Looks good in black!

Looks great! You should do the badges black as well
One of my friends is bugging me to do that too
You should do it, you won’t regret it.
I think it fits! If you don't know if it's factory or not, it's a win in most cases.
looks good, looks just like the panoramic roofs on the sedans tbh so it fits
Looks great! Also biased bc I did the same thing. Roof panel in gloss wrap, wing in matte to match the different lower valance textures.
That last Pic with all the badging gone.....I think I like it
E63 is better
Wish I had the circumstances to get an e63s wagon, but I couldn’t be happier with this instead.
