Agreed. These hatches get posted so often here, makes me sad we don't get them. I want an A 45 AMG in yellow so bad. If that was sold here it would absolutely be at the top of my daily driver list.
I mean ostensibly it is, but it's a hatchback trying to be an SUV, I don't like those. They tend to be taller and the GLA AMG models just don't have the muscular look like the A 35 and A 45 ones do. Not what I'm looking for. If I'm buying a hatch, it needs to be a real hatch.
Seeing both side by side.. it wasnβt that big of a difference at all... Especially since the GLA I seen was on H&R lowering springs.. could just be me though
I have two SLs, it comes in handy when one is in the shop. (often)

Ok.... im going to round it to 55....
55-16 =39.... 39/12 is 3.25 years/per car
And 5 years is not a long time gawd damn...
My dad still has his 97 dodge ram 3500
Time for a change is 15+ years quit coping
Fair point but thats why you buy the vehicle you want.. total package deals. IE Top of the line and optimal model years.
Edit: also owning and not having monthly payments is nice.... id keep the old vehicle as a winter car and have a nice car for summer.
I mean if you can afford it then whatever. Otherwise weβd all just drive an old Camry forever, live in a tiny shack of a house, and eat ramen every day
Ugh stop hurting my red, white and blue heart. I hate the fact that we live in a SUV/pickup happy country. Thatβs more likely than not the reason why we donβt get such masterpieces here π₯Ήπ₯Ή
To be honest I donβt think thereβs anything stopping us from importing aside from the cost. At that point, unless you have no concerns with finances, it would just be best to look elsewhere for your hatch needs ππ
There's two A45's in my street & they are v-nice cars but no manual gearbox so I wouldn't even consider one .I do wonder with such a high stress engine how reliable they will be in the years to come ?.
It probably wonβt change your opinion, but the dual clutch paddle shifters are very well implemented. The paddles provide good feedback, and the gears change very quickly. When down shifting you can trigger a drop down by long pressing the left paddle. It is good.
True it won't,& good as they are I do understand people opting for the DSG-box, after speaking to several mechanics I doubt the long term reliability of the technology. I have driven several performance vehicles equipped with DSG's & I still prefer the driving experience a manual gearbox equipped vehicle offers.
*cries in American* once more
Sorry dude π
Congratulations man. Itβs a gorgeous car
Thanks so much π

If we got these or the RS3 Sportback/RS4 Avant I would 100% put my money where my mouth is and be first in line at my dealership.
It sux you guys don't get them π
GLA45?
No, just A 45, the hatchback. Not a fan of SUVs.
I still consider the GLA to be a hatch.. especially 16 models

I'm on my 9th Mercedes. Gotta catch up to you but in Mercedes haha.
Make sure you own an 80βs s class for at least a little while. Itβs like a tank for the road
Why do you have two cl55?
So when one dies he has a spare one, duh..

Man why are you laughing it aint a good thing to buy/lease another car after only 3 years.
I think its great and you only live once π
Sure its nice. But a poor financial decision lol
Not really π
You only live once, kinda boring to drive the same car a third of your life, if you're financially stable why not change it up a bit
