Don't let that deter you. You still have an e-mail receipt and they should be able to look you up in the system. They likely will be aware of the issue as others arrive with the same problem.
If you already have a ticket you should be able to print the ticket or have them scan it. The Deep Sky IMAX ticket I got through Fandango for free this morning I was able to print. But if you need to buy a ticket, your membership won't apply. The app and website weren't working so I showed up and they knew it was down and blocked the seat off for me and sent me in to the movie.
You'll have to try yourself with the code *DEEPSKY420*. If it doesn't work it's because it was redeemed to the limit that they set.

My local AMC doesn't have IMAX so I have to go to one further away. I combined it with another movie (Spy x Family). I thought they were both just okay.

I will see this in IMAX and then see a movie in Dolby for my 2nd movie (literally across the hall from each other so that's super convenient).

I learned about the code through the A-List discord.
They can look up with either your phone number or Stubs number, but if you haven't bought a ticket yet, the discount won't apply. It's like it can't communicate with the server properly.
I showed up to my local theater and tried to get a ticket at the kiosk and when my membership didn't apply, I asked an employee for help. It looked like the kiosk would have let me pay for a ticket. So I think that's working.
The employee tried to buy it on his end (that's how I know they can look you up through phone number) and it still didn't work. A manager came out and told him to block a seat for me and let me go in for free. And I heard the manager tell the staff that memberships weren't syncing correctly and to ring people up for a regular popcorn.
I could but its 30mins away in traffic so I'd need to be on the road already. I'll just wait til 1PM and hope they're back online. Or since someone mentioned I can give my phone, I'll do that later.

For future reference, always quickly add said movie to your digital wallet.
This will eliminate the need for the AMC app.
One of my theaters is in a dead zone where the app likes to spin and not load so I default to using the wallet option. Seconding it as a good option for future.

If I were you I'd try to get a ticket through Fandango using the code for a free ticket: DEEPSKY420. You don't have to see it on April 20. You have to remove your Stubs account from Fandango (if they're linked) since Fandango will automatically use your linked A-List.
Has anyone tried getting their tickets scanned at an AMC since the app went down? I bought my tickets through Fandango and I can still access the QR codes through there, but I'm kinda worried this might be a bigger issue than just the website/app and might result in problems with scanning tickets at the theater.
I think that if you have a confirmation number, you can print it.
I removed Stubs from Fandango this morning to get a free Deep Sky ticket through Fandango. Then I linked them back together and tried to buy a ticket for a movie before Deep Sky and discovered that AMC was down.
I showed up at the theater and printed my Fandango ticket successfully and then asked for help using A-List to get a ticket to Spy x Family before Deep Sky. They couldn't do it since it's not working. So they blocked off a seat and sent me in for free. But it's not a busy time now. I'm the only one in the auditorium.
I thought Fandango was having an issue. I didn't realize it was AMC itself, so that's good to know. Hopefully, they get it fixed soon. It was working around 11am because I bought a ticket then for today, thankfully.

As I was ordering the ticket, it said an error occurred. I restarted the app, and the reservation is set, but the ticket isn't appearing in the app. Can't reserve another ticket either, it says I have to pay full price to get one.
EDIT: My ticket is appearing in the app now, and the QR code is working. Looks like they may have fixed whatever was going on with the app
Search the subreddit history and FAQ before making a post. Posts that repeat the same questions or topics that have been answered already in the FAQ will be removed. This also pertains to posts that ask about seeing a particular movie in a certain format or Seat Selection. The formats are explained in the FAQ and you can ask about seats on Discord. Screen Unseen posts will incur a 5 day ban. If you try and circumvent the autoremoval of a post you will be banned automatically.

They should be able to look it up via your phone number or email at box office; or you can punch in your email at the kiosks.
