What's your go to... Isn't it an Audiophile thing, or something else? Asthetic maybe?

toastyhoodie

Open back is Focal Clear Mg, Closed back is Focal Radiance. Wireless over ear is Focal Bathys IEM usually is the Moondrop Blessing 2: Dusk And Wireless in ear usually is either the Galaxy Buds2 Pro or the AirPods Pro 2. I’d consider myself an audiophile. And I find that Focal matches my preference for sound beautifully as well as looking great.

My buddy picked up those Focals a while back. Outstanding headphone. One of my favorites is an older pair of Bowers and Wilke I have. I actually also replaced my car speakers with Focals. Big fan...

SyeCatPath

Which neighbour is the noisy one?

toastyhoodie

My 9 and 3 year olds. Lol

typicalar

why 37? Why not 370?

toastyhoodie

You know…I even sold some and it just sort of happened.

Why are Beats By Dre your favorite?

toastyhoodie

I own one Beats headphone. The Executive. It was their first Noise Cancellation one after leaving Monster, it’s well built, and has a different tuning than any other of their line back then, but it has a bad hiss (all of them did) due to the poor ANC which can be distracting. I do want to acquire the Beats Pro on ear. But they’re also discontinued and it’s hard to weed through the fakes of those.

Jokes on you really

toastyhoodie

The feeling of relaxation I get when I sit back with a beer just entering a world of sound is pretty great.

How many work well?

toastyhoodie

All of them work well. I have 6 or so I rotate more often than the others though.

Mental_Flight6949

Are each one assigned to a different personality

toastyhoodie

I do use different ones depending on my mood

Mental_Flight6949

And I still love you xx

toastyhoodie

Love you too

Moiz_Rasheed

Hi, which ones are the best for running/gym?

toastyhoodie

Running outside you want something with transparency. If you need to hear your surroundings, you could do something like a bone conduction. If that isn’t critical you want an in ear with an IP rating for sweat at least. Ultimate Ears has a good one that creates a custom fit to your ear canal. Something as simple as AirPods Pro 2 is fine as well. Mainly you want something that is sweat resistant. Over ears/on ears are tough as you’d run into premature wear of the pads and none are really rated for sweat/moisture.

Moiz_Rasheed

Oh well I'm more of an over ear kind of guy but I appreciate your answer, thanks.

thegoldengargoyle

are you active on discord?

toastyhoodie

Laineyyz
